Wilma's requital, a Path of Exile helmet that has kinda hyped for the next League start after trying it out, this is Willy Wonka's unique item that he made, and it's basically ballista-based or just totem based in general, and the reason it went under the radar is actually when it was revealed. A lot of the new Path of Exile items have been revealed, days before the patch, people could kind of figure stuff out about it, however, has been revealed exactly on the day of release, if you look here, it's the 9th of December which is exactly when this was released.

Path Of Exile Items Wilma's Requital - What does Wilma's Requital do? 

In order to understand well, to go over what's actually on the item, it has an accuracy wall that is roundabout, if you have a good role roundabout tier two on a rare item which is pretty damn good, it's actually very sought after for ballista builds, you definitely have to solve your accuracy somehow, so that's nice down there, you have La damage with attacks, those are like the more less priority ones, it has an okay energy Shield roll, and it's nothing special, but then there are two lines here that are incredibly strong the first one is actually the last one ancestral Bond.

If you don't know ancestral bond is basically this Keystone over here, it says you get plus one to the maximum number of summon totems,  however, you don't deal any damage yourself which is a keystone that spell totems can pretty easily access, because they're usually starting hero fend, but ballista builds cannot, because they're either going like Champion Pathfinder Raider trickster or even occultist and hero fan is just completely out of the way for all the spicy bow notes.

However, the way some of the ballista builds used to play is actually they used to have a self-damaging setup, and then they also used to have a Ballista set up kind of like a hybrid thing and for those builds, it is not going to be interesting. However, argue that those builds are probably going to be phased out by this item Alone. So get plus one totem right, if think about how many totems, you usually have on a Ballista build, it's going to be around about five to six last one from the future here. One thing to mention as well is that something at all was that Mirage Archer still deals damage, so some of you might already know that for some weird reason.


Path Of Exile Items Wilma's Requital - Double-Dipping Attack Speed

The big payoff from this item, is the number three line increases in reductions to cast speed applied to attack speed, the right side of the tree with a Ballista build, to pick up any cast speed, and even if attack speed is usually just better to grab.

There's actually double dip potential with this helmet in the most basic way to abuse, this would be for example haste and Val hastem, when you look at this, you went nearby LS and gained 24 attacks speed and 24 cast speed, this actually double dips, so with Wilma's on this actually gives you 48 attack speed, now it doesn't stop there, though because there's also Onslaught and Onslaught effect.

In order for these things to count twice, it has to be like haste right where it's in like different lines, then it counts right, it's two different effects, however, that's not completely true, if it's because of the comma or whatever is going on here, but Onslaught also counts, even though it says Attack cast and movement speed, it still counts separately which means that you get 40 attack speed with Wilma's helmet from Onslaught, and then with Onslaught effect, you would get 80 which makes Path of Exile items like the wrestles Defiance incredibly interesting, because you get another 100 Onslaught effect.

Of course, you also get the onset effect from these nodes on the trade,  then friendly charges which also count twice, for example instead of four percent attack speed, and four percent more damage, the cast speed portion also gets converted. You get eight percent attack speed and four percent more damage also making it a little bit stronger, and then we have a big one here for Champion which also works which is adrenaline, so adrenaline is a buff that gives 100 increased damage 25 Attack cast and movement speed and physical damage reduction. 


Path Of Exile Items Wilma's Requital - Making Builds Feel Better

For some more points, quickly talk about some of these, because DPS obviously, but one thing that gets neglected a lot of, the time is how your build actually feels, and how it performs putting something into a pob is one thing having to actually play it, and it being fun is another thing and attack speed does more than just increase your damage, it actively makes your build more responsive, and more fun think about it.  

If you had the decision between getting 10 more attack speed or 10 more damage which would be the same outcome in most builds, you would definitely pick the more attack speed every single time. 

In fact, you would probably even pick eight percent more attack speed or seven percent more attack speed, just because it would make it feel better as well as that your movement skills are getting super juicy,  instead of being just a meme your blink Arrow, all of a sudden becomes an actual option for you, instead of having to use flame Dash on bow builds, and the most interesting part here is what will happen with ballista built.


Path Of Exile Items Wilma's Requital - Melee/Spell Totems

The item is made for Ballistas, but that doesn't mean that should use it that way right, a lot of broken builds usually come out of something that isn't was not intended.

The best use for Wilmas right now in terms of how much power level, it brings to certain build is actually melee totems, if this item was on a melee totem build now Ballistas were already quite fast, stuff like that maybe even coil rain, however melee totems, they don't really have that they're usually using a slower weapon or they don't have as much attack speed scaling.

Wilma's is actually going to make melee totems feel incredible, all of a sudden whereas ballistas are going to feel better, but they already felt decent right, the jump is going to be massive, and the second thing is ancestral bond is a lot more interesting for melee totems, because Mele totems don't get plus two totems on the tree, they don't get panopticon, they don't get watchtowers all they get is plus one from a shield that's literally it, and they will sacrifice everything to get up here to ancestral bond which means that getting that one for free, and not having to pass all the way up here, melatonins usually stop right around here with disemboweling that is a huge Point saver.

However, don't want to egg you on too much with melee totems, because while that kinda tried it out until like level 70-80. The play style was just very questionable when you have Ballistas that you can just place down, and they literally off-screen everything right you don't even have to think about it having to place your totem in the middle of a pack every single time and not off screening is just very very cumbersome.

Melee totems don't deal bad damage actually especially ancestral protector, however, it's round about the same as ballista builds would be minus the infinitely better place though, but if melee totems ever get a quality of life Improvement, this is something that's gonna put it on the map, the main thing holding back melee totems, in general, is that you have to go Chieftain, if you want your build to feel anywhere near good, because you get the 100 activation range.

Now the way melee totems work is whenever you're too far away from them they just stop hitting, if you're off-screen your ballistas are still shooting like two screens away usually roundabout, but your melee totems even stop while you're on the screen, if you're too far away, it is really annoying, and this fixes it however Chieftain is kinda docked right now, so that's what melee totems would need, it's not really that much about the damage, it's more about the quality of life, and just not being terrible to play.

Then there's also an option for spell opponent bills that don't want to go Templar, for a lot of bills that don't go Mana stacker hero fan kinda ends at the third ascendancy, now if you go full Monostacker plus totems.

If you want to go crit and go get your damage to the next level after the totem notes, you can take conviction of power and after that it's looking kinda dire, maybe what you need on certain totem builds is actually being able to start on the other side of the tree maybe with something like a dead eye with like overlapping projectiles, reign of splinters is kinda huge, it definitely opens up some possibilities past one from the future.


Path Of Exile Items Wilma's Requital - Rarity & Cost

Here is a question that you could have isn't Wilma's a sanctum drop, this got introduced with the sanctum League, however, it can be chance normal, it is a global drop it can drop anywhere, so even if forbidden sanctum is not gonna hit the main league, 

It's still going to be droppable right now, you might be calling Ottawa Palestron, this might just be a super rare item that everybody wants at leak start and it's gonna be Covenant prices right five six divines, because it's a tier one unique it actually is not, and this is quite easily from how many there are right now.

Now one thing you can see here is from Uber strict onwards, it actually doesn't show it anymore, if you go to customize and type in Solaris circlet, it's round about down here,  as you can see here it's actually hidden in the semi-expensive unique section in terms of price analysis, this item is going to go Eden Dawn is a little bit more common than Wilma's.

However it's going to have a similar curve to it now ballista builds do fall off in endgame at some point right, obviously not really against bosses, but while mapping once you have a mage blood, you have a head under, you want something self-cast obviously, but it will start probably a little bit higher, maybe like 150 200 chaos, but that completely depends on the meta.

This item is basically a must-have for most ballista builds, it just makes it feel a lot better, you almost double your attack speed on most builds that actually make use of it, you get an extra totem, so more AOE in general, you get an accuracy role which is a very sought after for EA.
