In today's guide, we've got some custom tactics and player instructions which are the 4334 and 412122 formations.
Rank 1 41212(2) Formation
The good thing about this 41212(2) formation is that it does it all. Your CDM dropping back makes it a back three and your CM's will provide cover if your full back is up the pitch. Going forward, there's overloads all over the pitch. Your fullbacks will always be an option and if you're half decent out wide then you'll create plenty of chances. The counter is always on for you too with your two strikers staying forward and your full backs bombing up the flanks.

41212(2) Player Instructions
GK - Sweeper Keeper. Come for Crosses.
Fullbacks - Balanced and overlap - Full backs need to be decent going forward.
CBs- As it is.
CDM- Drop between defeners and cover centre - CDM really needs to be fast and agile. He'll be starting a lot of your attacks too.
LCM: Stay back while attacking and cover wing.
RCM: Get forward and cover wing - Good physical and passing stats.
CAM: Come back on defence.
STS: Stay forward, stay central and get in behind.
Tips for Playing 41212(2) Formation
-We don't skill much unless we’re one on one with a defender with no passing options. Keep the ball moving, recycle rather than play a risky pass.
-Relax when you're defending. No need to trigger the second man press. Stay in a line, trigger team press if your opponent is playing ping pong outside your box and stay patient. Don't go mad with the tackle button, running into them is more effective.
-Low driven shots are OP. We score a lot of these, line yourself up and shoot across the keeper.
-Subs are key. Look to change your full backs and one CB at the 60min mark. The rest depends on who you've got in reserve.
-Learn to use rb/r1 effectively. Turning quickly will always surprise your opponent and can open up the play in a second.
Rank 1 433(4) Formation
If you’re struggling with narrow formations or you need something a bit different against those are always super compact and narrow.
