Dark and Darker is a first-person fantasy PvPvE game set in a dangerous dungeon full of traps and powerful enemies. In Dark and Darker, you will find different items, gold, and other things. Again, there are many items that have been looted by players, even if they have received some as rewards in the game. In the game, DAD items are required and in order to start trading you need to scroll to the trading section of the main lobby.

• Rubysilver Ingot: A processed material, crafted from Rubysilver Ore, used by armorers and weaponsmiths for crafting high-quality armor, weapons and accessories.

• Silver Ingot: A processed material, obtained from Silver Coins, used by weaponsmiths to craft epic and legendary weapons.

Crafting and materials in Dark and Darker involve mining two main types of ore, Cobalt Ore and Ruby Silverore which are used to craft different quality items. Cobalt Ore is used to create blue-quality gear, while Ruby Silver Ore crafts epic purple gear. Mining is a slow process that requires clearing rooms of enemies first and then repeatedly hitting ore nodes, making it more efficient when done in a party. The crafting itself happens through merchants rather than a traditional crafting UI. Players convert ore into ingots or powders, which can be used to craft various armor types, including plate, leather, and cloth gear. Crafted items come with randomized magic properties, with higher-tier Ruby Silver gear rolling up to four modifiers, potentially resulting in very powerful equipment. Although crafting can be costly and time-consuming, it offers a way to customize gear for PvE or PvP and the chance to produce valuable items for personal use or sale. Mining and crafting also add a unique gameplay element, requiring protection and strategic play while gathering resources in dangerous dungeon environments.
