Storm's Fury is one of the brand new events of patch 10.0.5 in World of Warcraft Dragonflight. Dragonflight Storm's Fury brings a bunch of new things such as a mount, a toy, some catch-up gear for your alt, and a new currency.  Today we will cover where to find it, how to do it if it's even worth doing it, and all the nitty-gritty details which come with this new WoW Dragonflight 10.0.5 Storm’s Fury event.

WoW Dragonflight Storm’s Fury Event Guide: Quests, Bosses, Loots & Tips

The Storm’s Fury event is the extension of the Primal Invasions or the Primal Storm events. This event takes place in the Primalist Future. The Primalists are rallying some of their strongest forces to preserve their plans to dominate Azeroth. In this Dragonflight Storm’s Fury Event Guide, we talk about the quests, bosses, rewards, achievements, and tips to complete the event.

WoW Dragonflight Storm’s Fury Quests

To unlock the Dragonflight WoW Storm's Fury event, you will need to simply talk to Zawarudu who is located at the top of the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken. Zawarudu will send you to the Primeless Future in the quest Storm Warning. Once you get inside, the portal you will be able to turn in his quest enabling the Storm's Fury event which will show up as a world quest around through dresses when active. Unlocking this event with at least one of your characters will unlock it for your entire account. Bear in mind that the event has no cooldown and it stays active for 5 hours at a time for completion.

How To Complete WoW Dragonflight Storm Event

Within the Zone the Primalist Future, you will see 4 blue portals around the map and a big skull that represents the elemental boss. You will also find a bunch of rare spawning laying around, so make sure you kill them as well. Now our goal is to disable each portal to activate and defeat the elemental at the end. The problem is that each of the 4 portals is guarded by multiple primalist mobs which will keep spawning every 30 seconds to 1 minute. Similarly to taking control of areas in Battlegrounds, you must remain near the portal to have it captured. 

In order for the little arrow to start moving, you need to make sure that there are no primalists around. Once a portal is fully controlled by the defending forces that's us, it will be disabled and the bar that says 4 will go down to 3. However disabled portals will continue being attacked by primalists and if left unattended, the disabled portals can be reactivated. Making the same bar go from 3 back to 4. If that happens then we need to go back to the same portal that we did before and progress through the entire claiming bar again. 

What usually happens is people stack a niche portal until they disable it and by the time they manage to get the third one done, the first one gets reactivated. The best way to counter them from happening is to split people between the portals. Depending on your gear and class, the primalists can be soloed. But having a minimum of 2-3 players is always preferred. Now once all 4 portals have been deactivated at the same time, the barriers surrounding the boss of the event will vanish, making it available for us to kill.

Dragonflight Storm’s Fury Bosses

There are 3 available bosses depending on which event we encounter.

Galactus - The Frost Elemental

Nimbleitis - The Storm Elemental

Sismodor - The Earth Elemental

Bosses Drops

1. Killing a boss will drop 6 essence of the storm a few Elemental overflows and has a chance of dropping primalist gear too.

2. It will also complete the world quest for you too which will award you with glowing primeless cash the first time you do it. The cash itself contains a few essence of storm, storm sigils, gold, and any chance of a primalist gear.

3. During the event more than once will award you with blue cash that has the same items as before, but in lower quantity.

WoW Dragonflight Storm's Fury Rewards

The main rewards for this event can be purchased from Brendormi. There are no requirements for the rewards apart from the currency we mentioned before, the essence of the storm. 

-Here you will find 4389 item level items that can serve a purpose to the event or can be used as catch-up gear for your alt. 

-We got two rings a neck and a trinket. Each ring costs 23 essence of the storm and 525 elemental overflow. 

-The neck cost 30 essence of the storm and 750 overflow. 

-The trinket costs 46 essence of the storm and 1000 overflows.

- In addition to these items, you can also buy primeless cash for 30 essences which contain a storm sigil, Dragon Isle supplies primalist treasure, and a chance for cosmetic gear. 

-You can also purchase a new toy, a new pet, and a new Mount the Skyskin Hornstrider that costs 150 essence of the storm and 3 000 elemental overflows. Making it the most expensive item of this new Dragonflight patch 10.0.5 Storm’s Fury event.

WoW Dragonflight Storm's Fury Achievements

-An achievement called “The Future We Make” can be obtained by encountering all 3 bosses, and killing all of them.

-An achievement called “Drop It Like It's Hot” can be obtained by killing one of the 3 bosses while maintaining at least 15 stacks of warmth.

WoW Dragonflight Storm's Fury Event Tips

A small but important detail about this event is that while it's active, all players will be affected by a debuff called freezing. The debuff stacks every 5 seconds and can go up to 20 stacks which deals a lot of damage. You're able to counter the freezing debuff by seeking warmth. You can stack up to 25 stacks of warmth and every application of the freezing debuff will instead remove one stack of the warmth. 

To get rid of all the freezing stacks immediately or stack up on some warmth, you'll want to visit a protected area like the Temporal Conflux or get yourself the Field Deployable Heat Source item which can be purchased from Tarnormu with gold in the Temporal Conflux.
