With the Brimstone Sans coming live in New World, an enormous amount of Open World bosses are rolling out that you can get a small group of people together and go farm for some impressive loot.

Top 10 New World Brimstone Sands Boss Drops (Best Legendary Gears)

Given the size of Brimstone Sands is quoted by the New World devs to be about 2.5 times the size of everfall, there's a lot of content in here that needs to be explored. So we viewed the New World database page and looked at every single level 60 plus mobs drop table to gather a complete and exhaustive list of any item that is genuinely worth going out of your way to get if they fit your specific needs.

Top 1 - Liver of Prometheus (Life Staff)

Liver of Prometheus is extremely similar to the much loved will the Ancients, in fact the only difference is instead of refreshing, this staff offers refreshing evasion which sounds like a very small difference and to some people it might be, but we know to a lot of healers out there. Players have been asking for this exact lifestyle for a very long time and are going to be very happy to see that it's finally in the game - you can finally add that ninth piece of refreshing evasion to your kit while still keeping blessed and refreshing move.

And this staff will drop from the Oracle of Crassus in Southwest Brimstone Sands and Castrum Principium, it looks like there are two spawns you can farm the boss has 260 000 Health.

Top 2 - Guardian's Resolve (Sword)

Guardian's Resolve longsword drops with Thwarting Strikes, Refreshing Move, and Corrupted Bane, which is a lot of damage and cooldown on one weapon. Most people don't know this but you can stack Bane on your sword and your shield, so this would go very well in a DPS setup.

You can get the Guardian's Resolve long sword from Rafik of Bishara pretty much in the center of Brimstone Sands just basically right outside the entrance to the Heliopolis at Atum's Way. This boss only has 35 000 HP so if you go in a heavy armor warded set you should have no problem solo-farming this.

Top 3 - Batheqet's Cudgel (War Hammer)

Batheqet's Cudgel drops with Ancient Bane, Thwarting Strikes, and Sundering Shockwave. This is an insanely good war hammer no doubt, it would have been near a New World gold cap if you got this drop just a few weeks ago.

Location to farm: You can get the Batheqet's Cudgel from Bath the Kit of the Cudgel is located right inside the Heliopolis pretty much in the center of Brimstone Sands. This boss has 641 000 HP so we would recommend a team of 10 if you were planning to go farm it.

Top 4 - Wallbuilder (War Hammer)

Wallbuilder is another very strong ancient war hammer and it drops with Trenchant Strikes, Ancient Bane, and Mortal Power. And since Mortal Power was buffed, this is an extremely good war hammer to run in an ancient dungeon. The Mortal Power lasts for 20 seconds when you or your team kill something and it only has a one-second cool cooldown, so this empower is up basically for the entire duration of the dungeon war hammer has a tough time reaching in power cap, so you can definitely put that in power to work.

Location to farm: You get this item from the Colossus of Karnak located in Northeast Brimstone Sands inside of Nebet-Het, this boss only has 40 000 HP and a four-man group is able to farm it effortlessly.

Top 5 - Castrum Crown of the Goat-King (Heavy Headwear)

Castrum Crown of the Goat-King is a nice replacement to the Chardis' Headdress headpiece if you wanted the tank some ancient content or if you just can't get the Chardis' headpiece because Lazarus isn't currently mutated on your server, you can farm the Castrum Crown of the Goat-King. This piece is an upgrade from the Charter's headpiece because it replaces the invigorated with physical aversion making you that much tankier.

Location to farm: Castrum Crown of the Goat-King is dropped from Stubbles the Goat-King in the west of Brimstone Sand at the Place of Pillars, this boss only has 27 000 HP, so we imagine with some beast sword you can get it done solo.

Top 6 - Fangs of Setcheh (Bow)

Fangs of Setcheh drops with Enfeebling Poison Shot, Accuracy, and Plague Strikes, and what makes this bow so special is it's currently the only bow in the game with Plagued Strikes. If you remember when Tempest was released the Blackguard's Bow drop with Plagued Strikes and was extremely overpowered, people were complaining about it left and right, and then they changed it to Plagued Crits which seemed to have solved the issue but Plagued Strikes is extremely good on a bow, and some people out there think it's worth it to give up damage perks just so you can guarantee disease when you land that heavy hit. So this bow is extremely unique.

Location to farm: You can get this bow from Setcheh the Cobra from west of Brimstone Sands, not too far from where you can farm the Castrum Crown of the Goat-King, so maybe you can knock both of those out if you're interested. This boss only has 35 000 HP but it's ancient, so once again if you were an ancient set we think you can farm this solo.

Top 7 - Maat's Blessing (Amulet Jewelry)

Maat's Blessing is an amulet that's going to make a lot of healers and void Gauntlet users smile, dropping with Health, Divine, and Slash Protection. It also comes with an Empty Gem Socket, so you could put a moonstone in there and get even more slash protection if you wanted to.

Location to farm: This item drops from the Judge of Purity located at the top of Brimstone Sands inside of Serpent's Past, this boss only has 35,000 HP, so once again with the right gear you could probably obtain this solo.

Top 8 - Feather's Bane (Musket)

Feather's Bane is all about damage, it drops with Empowering Shooter's Stance, Beast Bane and Enchanted. Empowering Shooter's Stance actually does count as light attacks, so Enchanted boosts the damage on it as well. Shooter's Stance on the weapon grants you 40% in power when you land a hit with it, so you'll be at Empower cap as soon as you get into shooter stance with this thing. And the combination of Beast Bane and Enchanted will make it very fun to use if you're hunting down scorpions or any other beast in Brimstone Sands.

Location to farm: You can get the Feather's Bane musket from Featherbane located in the Two-Stones Grotto in the southeast of Brimstone Sands. This boss only has 30,000 HP, so gear up properly and go get it if you want it.

Top 9 - Stonehewer (Greatsword)

Stonehewer greatsword drops with Ancient Bane, Trenchant Strikes, and Mortal Refreshment. The Mortal refreshment perk much like the Mortal power perk was buffed, now it only has a one-second cooldown and it reduces all cooldowns by 10%  whenever a mob dies, so once again if your speed running Lazarus, this would be very helpful, and Trenchant Strikes is really good on the greatsword because your heavy attacks charge twice as fast. So just something to think about and also don't forget that they removed all of the resistance to damage types that mobs had, ancients used to resist slash damage pretty hard it was either 15% or 30%, well now they're neutral to it, so this sword is extremely viable there.

Location to farm: Stonehewer drops from The "Manticore" in the southeast of Brimstone Sands inside of the Acropolis which is where you do the main quest anyway, the boss only has 31 000 HP and although it is a scorpion it's actually classified as an angry earth mob so we're the appropriate ward if you plan to solo farm it.

Top 10 - Khnum's Key (Spear)

This spear is going to drop with Keem Speed, Rogue, and Ancient Bane. The combination of Rogue and Bane is very powerful to DPS with if you can hit your backstabs.

Location to farm: This spear is going to drop from the Keeper of Khnum inside of Khnum, basically in the middle of Brimstone Sands right outside of the Heliopolis. This boss only has 25 000 HP and it's only level 61, put on your Warden gear set and get to it.

Top 11 -  Duskrunners (Light Footwear)

Duskrunners are light intelligent space shoes that drop with Refreshing Evasion, Freedom, and Shirking Energy. Shirking Energy on the foot slot is actually extremely unique because normally this perk is exclusive to the leg slot. So now if you have an intelligence based build but don't want to dish out an absurd amount of coin for some best-in-slot pants, with Shirking Energy or use a subpar pair of pants just because they have Shirking Energy and you want it in your setup, you can farm the Duskrunners for free and still get all the perks that you want in your setup. They're similar to the Wizened Shoes from Tempest, they both have shirking energy but the Wizened Shoes have Refreshing and Elemental Aversion, these boots have Refreshing Evasion and Freedom which is undeniably better freedom is a top tier perk, so these being in the game available to farm for free is amazing.

Location to farm: You can get these shoes from Dawn's Chariot Khepri, in the middle of Brimstone Sands right outside the Heliopolis in this little circle right here. This boss has over 700, 000 HP so bring a team if you plan on farming it.

Top 12 - Shadow's Edge (Sword)

Shadow's Edge drops with Enchanted, Rogue, and Keenly Empowered, three damage perks you can never go wrong with that, although the sword does have a pretty easy time hitting the Empower cap, so maybe you can experiment with respecting your sword and taking away some of those Empower perks so that you can benefit from this Keenly Empowered and the combination of Enchanted and Rogue makes this an extremely solid PVP sword or an all-purpose PVE sword. If you're dpsing a dungeon but don't have a sword with the specific band that you're looking for, this sword will fill the slot and get the job done, almost the exact same combination of Enchanted and Rogue, is very similar to Bane and Rogue, and you can dump umbershars into this and not have to worry about what happens when the dungeon rotates and then you have to upgrade another sword.

Location to farm: You can get the Shadow's Edge from The Sneak located in the northwest of Brimstone Sands at Heru Plaza, this boss is ancient and only has 35, 000 HP.

But anyway, those are the top farmable items that we could find scrolling through the loot tables of each boss in Brimstone Sands. It is glad to see they made a lot of these bosses almost solo farmable, some of them have some mechanics that might not make them so easy to kill and you'll probably still want a group to do it in a relaxed manner, but it is possible if no one else wants to go with you.
