Armourer's Scrap

Server

Price 0.2 USD

In Path of Exile, an Armourer's Scrap is a currency item used to improve the quality of an armor piece. When used on an armor item, it increases the quality of that item by a small amount, enhancing its defensive stats. Increasing the quality of an armor item can be beneficial for improving its effectiveness in providing protection to the character.

How to Make the Best Use of Armour’s Scraps in POE?

  • Enhance Your Equipment: If you have a piece of armor that you use often and it hasn't reached 20% quality yet, you can use Armourer's Scraps to improve it. This is particularly useful for end-game gear that you plan on using for a long time.

  • Crafting: If you're engaging in item crafting, it might be beneficial to improve the quality of an item before using your more valuable orbs (like Orb of Alchemy or Chaos Orb). An item's quality can affect the outcome of such crafting.

  • Trading: POE Armourer's Scraps are relatively common, but they can stack up and be traded with other players for different POE currencies or POE items. Check the current exchange rates to make sure you're getting a fair deal.

  • Save for Later: If you're not sure what to do with them right now, there's no harm in saving your Armourer's Scraps for later. You might find them more useful as you progress in the game or during a new league.

Armourer’s Scrap Recipe in Path of Exile

- Quality Armours Recipe: Any type of armor with a combined quality of 40% or more can be sold to a vendor for an Armourer's Scrap.

For example, you could sell one item with 40% quality, or four items each with 10% quality, and so on.

- 20% Quality Recipe: A single armor piece with 20% quality sold to a vendor will also yield an Armourer's Scrap.

- Full Rare Sets Recipe: Selling a full set of rare items including a two-handed weapon (or two one-handed weapons), a helmet, a body armor, gloves, boots, a belt, an amulet, and two rings will yield an Armourer's Scrap. All items must be unidentified, and their item levels must not exceed 59.

If the items are identified or their item levels are 60-74, you will get an Orb of Alchemy instead.

How to Get Armourer's Scrap in Path of Exile?

There are several ways to obtain Armourer's Scraps in Path of Exile:

  • Drops from enemies: Armourer's Scraps can randomly drop from slain enemies throughout the game. The drop rate may vary depending on the area and the difficulty level you are playing in.

  • Vendors: Certain vendors in the game, such as vendors in towns or specific NPC vendors, sell Armourer's Scraps in exchange for other POE currency items. Keep an eye out for these vendors and their stock.

  • Divination Cards: Divination Cards are specific items that can be collected to exchange for various rewards. Some Divination Cards in Path of Exile grant Armourer's Scraps when the full set of required cards is obtained.

  • Trading with other players: Path of Exile has an active player-based economy. You can trade with other players to acquire Armourer's Scraps in exchange for other POE items or currency. Utilize in-game trading channels, forums, or third-party websites to find potential trade partners.

  • League mechanics and events: Depending on the current league or challenge league that is active in Path of Exile, there may be specific league mechanics, events, or quests that reward players with Armourer's Scraps. Stay updated with the latest game updates and events to take advantage of these opportunities.

How to Use Armour’s Scraps in POE?

  • Obtain Armourer's Scraps: Armourer's Scraps can be acquired by looting them from slain enemies, purchasing them from vendors, trading with other players, or as quest rewards.

  • Identify the armor item you want to improve: Locate the armor item you wish to enhance with Armourer's Scraps. This can include chest armor, gloves, helmets, boots, or shields.

  • Right-click on the Armourer's Scrap: In your inventory, right-click on an Armourer's Scrap to allocate it for use.

  • Left-click on the armor item: After allocating an Armourer's Scrap, left-click on the target armor item in your inventory. This action will consume the Armourer's Scrap and apply its quality bonus to the armor.

  • Observe the improved quality: The quality of the armor item will increase based on the quality percentage of the consumed Armourer's Scrap. Higher quality provides improved defensive statistics, such as increased armor rating or evasion.

  • Repeat for additional improvement: If you have more Armourer's Scraps and wish to further improve an Path of Exile item's quality, repeat the process by allocating another scrap and left-clicking on the armor item again.
