1. Improve the movement of your character

Being able to move effectively is one of the best ways to improve your performance in raids. One of the most significant differences between average players and top players with high damage meters is not usually that one person knows their rotation better than the other; rather, the pro player moves and positions their character in a way that maximizes their up time and the number of times they are actually able to perform their rotation. Having longer up time is sometimes more essential than completing your rotation correctly; even just a few seconds of not fighting a boss may make a significant difference in DPS. That sounds wonderful, but how can we move our characters more effectively? It is far more efficient to move your character with your mouse instead of keyboard, and it also frees up your other hand for more essential tasks. Here's a method to train outside of raids, get in the Public Test Realm, and install this weak aura called Encounter Simulator. Then go to the target dummies and mark them with a skull, x, triangle, diamond, star, and moon, the weak aura will have you move between these target dummies while also dpsing the skull and x, see how high you can get your DPS while doing what the weak aura tells you as quickly as you can. It’s also recommended to move your strafe buttons to the A and D keys if you haven't, especially if you're used to playing other PC games where that's already the default control scheme.

2. Improve Keybindings

Key bindings are going to free up so much concentration that you're trying to locate a button, even if you know precisely where it is, even if you're an absolute legend. Because key bindings are a personal preference, you can use any numbers and letters as a starting point to come up with your own ideas, such as 1 through 5. You can also use shift or alt as a modifier, which is actually a sneaky trick if you run out of buttons to work with. It's highly recommended that you only add a couple of key bindings at a time, as building muscle memory for one or two buttons will be much easier than trying to do it all at once. It will almost certainly be very frustrating at some point, as you will almost certainly press some old buttons by accident, or you will possibly go back to clicking by accident, but don't get discouraged, keep working at it and eventually you'll get it right.

3. Improve UI

If you want to get as much relevant information as possible from your user interface, it shouldn't be too intrusive or cause you to become distracted. The closer all of the critical information that you require is to one another, the better. A smart place to start would be to relocate your character and target unit frames to the middle of your display screen. It would be much simpler if you could see your own and the target's health at a glance, without having to take your eyes off your character. You can look through tons of weak auras that you can import into your game and organize your UI so much better. If you want to get into learning how to edit weak auras or even make your own, but you're afraid of making mistakes and ruining what you already have, it recommends giving it a shot in the public test realm this will also let you go through cooldowns and consumables without having to worry about anything. 

4. Improve Timing

Players are just activating their cooldowns whenever they appear, which isn't really a bad thing in most cases because it offers you more opportunities to utilize your abilities towards the end of the boss fight, but it isn't always the best option. Timing is not just important in terms of cooldowns; it is also important in terms of pretty much everything else. Various fights have different mechanics and scenarios, which may occasionally alter the way that you play your character. Some of these decisions may appear to be difficult to make at the time, and you may make the wrong decision if you go into battle without a clear understanding of when you will have to make those decisions. Learn about when you have to make those decisions is a good place to start. You can find them by searching for their names in the search box or by going to a special channel and pressing control F while typing the boss's name, which will search specifically in that channel for that boss.
