Madden 22 Scouting Update Release Date

According to the blog post on the official website, the Madden 22 Scouting has been pushed back and will be available to all players as part of a Title Update coming in mid-October. Lots of people have been waiting for a long time because they are going to restart their Franchise when the scouting overhaul is implemented. The original update time was set in September, but now you need to wait more time. 

What Will Be Included in Madden 22 Franchise Scouting Overhaul?

Franchise scouting will include:

- A full scouting department

- In-depth scouting reports including player physicals, traits and ratings

- News content that will move players up or down the media big board, impacting draft stock

- Mock drafts providing a snapshot of who teams are interested in throughout the season

This update will let you know who some of your opponents are going after, who your competition is going after and that makes you have to reach a little bit earlier for a player that you want, then that lets you as the other coach.

Madden 22 Franchise Scouting Changes & Improvements

Starting from the Week 1 of the NFL regular season, you can experience your scouting. There are five scouts available, including four area scouts and one national scout. Optimize your scouts based on their strengths and weaknesses. The national scout is the most effective but also a little bit more expensive, it will tell you about players who will perform well in your team. And you’ll have a workout facility for special players.

They also added five mock drafts throughout the season, and the player position will keep on changing accordingly. 

The key dates to know from Week 1 of the Regular Season:

Week 1: Final time to re-assign/hire/fire scouts

Week 2: Assign region scouts to individual positions

Week 8: Assign national scout to individual positions

Week 11: Choose 3 players to focus on where you’ll unlock 30% of a players profile

Free Agency Stage 3: Choose 3 players to host for private workouts where you’ll unlock 40% of a players profile

Each prospect has key percentage unlocks along the way:

1% - Baseline physical information for prospects

10% - Player Notes including traits, throw style, etc.

Every 10% - 1 attribute is revealed on the skill tab as a letter grade

70% - Player archetype is revealed

100% - All player attributes and true talent range are revealed

At every 10% along the way, you get one attribute revealed in the skill tab as a letter grade, you can get up to 10 of these grades, with the old system, you only got three of these unlocked for each player and it really didn't tell you enough about the player, now you can get up to 10 and it's gonna tell you a lot more that you need to know about these prospects. At 70%, the player archetype is revealed which is another big thing, because this plays into how they're going to level up and franchise it plays into potential ratings, it plays in two abilities and x factors, which is a big deal as well. At 100%, all player attributes and true talent range are revealed.
