Diablo 4 Season 5 Best Mythic Unique - D4 Season 5 Mythic Item Tier List

Mythic uniques are basically just Uber uniques but they have been updated in Diablo 4 Season 5 to not only be purple but a massive bust and kind of reworks on some of these items. If you're wondering do you need to get a new one to get these new bonuses? Yes, all these stats at the top of the item will stay the same. When the new update hits if you have an old Ring of the Starless Skies, for example, the newer unique ability at the very bottom will be updated. Therefore, you still need to get a new one unless you want the older legacy. Without further ado, let’s check Diablo 4 Season 5 best mythic unique items.

(S Tier) Ring of Starless Skies

Ring of Starless Skies was already a good unique ring. It no longer grants a flat percentage of core damage. This is replaced with ranks to core skills, providing scaling damage as you level up. Critical strike chance is significantly increased from 19.5% to 45-50%. With D4 items/gems/paragon that boost crit chance, this will allow easy crit capping. It now grants 10-12% attack speed. This opens up new build possibilities that benefit from attack speed. Lucky hit chance is increased from 10-12%, further boosting damage. The signature unique power remains, spending resources to reduce costs and amplify damage up to 50x multiplier. This is incredibly powerful. All resists are unchanged at a useful 22. This makes Ring of Starless Skies arguably the best Diablo 4 Season 5 mythic unique for almost any build.

(S Tier) Doombringer

Doombringer receives massive boosts to all its core stats like Strength, Dexterity, and Vitality, providing well over 100 in total. This translates to a huge defensive and offensive increase. Maximum life is increased by over 30%, making it more durable. Lucky hit damage reduction and heal chance are more than doubled, further mitigating damage. Most importantly, its damage rollout has been increased up to 10x stronger. This will allow it to easily eclipse other weapons in raw power. Its scaling lucky hit damage grants incredible single target and group potential. With a rerolled property like Fist of Fate, its damage multiplies further. Good survivability and damage make them the best D4 Season 5 mythic unique for Rogue and Barbarian, and probably Necromancer too. Overall, Doombringer has been transformed into arguably the single strongest weapon.

(S Tier) The Grandfather

Definitely a win for a Barbarian. All core stats see substantial increases, nearly doubling their values across the board. This provides an immense boost to survivability and damage potential. Maximum resources are greatly enhanced as well to support high expenditure playstyles. Damage taken from attacks is reduced significantly, further improving durability. The unique power remains, adding 100x crit damage on kills. This synergizes with many Barbarian skills and runes. Two new implicit bonuses grant 150% and 300% increased damage. Combined with superior itemization, damage output will eclipse prior ranges. With access to damage amplifiers, the potential damage multiplier rises enormously from its already immense baseline. Barbarian received some direct nerfs. However, The Grandfathernullifies these and then some through its immense stat buffs.

The Grandfather

(A Tier) Tyrael's Might

All resistances see a major boost, increasing from 5 to 7.5 each (50%). Capping resistances becomes effortless. A new 20% damage reduction modifier multiplies survivability. Combined with other sources, players can achieve near immunity to damage. Movement speed opens up new offensive potential on classes that scale with it. Other stats like strength provide useful bonuses. The signature block effect remains as powerful as ever. Great change for a lot of classes.

(A Tier) Andariel's Visage

All core stats receive a boost, maximizing survivability from the outset. Attack speed receives a huge triple increase, vastly improving damage potential. Reaching caps becomes attainable without support. Life on hit replaces lifesteal, providing sustain through constant attacks rather than bursts. Could prove very strong. Poison resist capped at an immense level, essentially immunity against that damage type. A major defensive upgrade. Other bonuses like strength further compliment build scaling. The removal of lifesteal hurts its identity somewhat. But massive buffs to offense through triple attack speed plus versatile utility from liferon hit offset that downgrade.

(A Tier) Harlequin Crest

Everyone's excited about the brand new Harlequin Crest in Diablo 4 Season 5. Maximum life sees a useful boost to survivability. Cooldown reduction receives an incredible tripling from 7% to 20%. Greatly enhances build options utilizing synergistic effects. Max resource replaces regen and may prove more beneficial overall depending on skill choices. 2,500 base armor provides a massive chunk towards capping that defense. Frees affix rolls. While losing all attributes, overall multipliers now compensate sufficiently. The signature unique power remains useful as ever for hybrid defense/offense playstyles. We're actually losing some stats for some builds but overall we would say it's probably a buff.

(D Tier) Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander

Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander is probably one of the worst mythic unique in Diablo 4 Season 5 because it's too weak overall. It no longer provides crit chance or attack speed, losing substantial damage potential. Gain to all attributes provides nice secondary stats but won't directly boost damage. Movement speed bonus is unusual but welcome on weapons. Resistance caps are easy to hit, freeing up secondary stats. The new shrine effect on kill is high cooldown, limiting uptime. Duration also won't refresh if effects aren't consumed. Restoring a primary resource is underwhelming compared to damage mods. Overpowered/vulnerable damage bonuses are multiplicative, not additive, but numbers seem low. Maybe you can use this on a Bear Druid.

(D Tier) Melted Heart of Selig

All res is improved by a sizable 5, raising max resists. Combined with other sources, capping resistances becomes very attainable. A new addition of +3% to all maximum elemental resistances provides good all-around survivability boost. Lucky hit chance opens up new offensive potential with chance to proc effects. However, the amount may be too low to feel impactful. Movement speed and resource generation help in both damage and utility situations. The special mechanic of draining damage as resources remains unchanged. Not looking too hot still and they're pretty much in the bottom tier of this D4 Season 5 Mythic Uniques ranking.
