Season of Discovery Phase 2 Best Raid Class - SoD Phase 2 Raid Tier List & Ranking

Gnomeregan will be the Phase 2 raid in the World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery. Selecting a strong and well-suited class for raiding is a pivotal decision that significantly influences your overall gaming experience. Some classes bring unique utility and buffs to the raid group. Whether it's crowd control, dispels, or beneficial auras, these abilities can significantly impact the raid's success. S Tier - Hunter

Hunters are an S tier of this Classic WoW Season of Discovery Phase 2 Raid tier list. It doesn't matter what spec you play, except melee Hunters as that is probably the weakest spec. Melee weaving is certainly a thing in Season of Discovery if you care to. If not, they're still very strong even if you stand in the background casting multi-shot and letting your pet do 60% of your raid damage.

S Tier - Paladin

We’re going to put as S tier best WoW Season of Discovery Phase 2 raid class just because all three of their specs are viable in raiding. They are highly sought-after tanks, very strong healers, and very solid DPS. Overall, they are quite strong and their runes have only made them stronger.

S Tier - Priest

Priests are a solid S tier when it comes to the WoW SoD Phase 2 raid tier list. They are the best healers currently in Phase 1, it's the reason why when you're trying to find a Warung Gulch. They look for 3 Priests for their composition, which should give you an indicator of how strong they are. Penance is the strongest healing spell in the game by far but it may get nerfed in the future. As it stands right now, they are the best healers plus the runes they have are so much better than Shaman, Paladin, and Resto Druid.

A Tier - Mage 

Mage is one of the more underappreciated classes in Season of Discovery. When played properly, they do a lot of damage, especially their arcane blast build. However they are a very difficult class to play properly and if they are not played properly, they are incredibly weak. If you want to play as a mage in Phase 2, just know that the skill ceiling is quite high and there is a lot of potential for you to be a big pumper but it will require you to have strong game knowledge.

A Tier - Rogue

They are a solid A tier raid class maybe even S tier. According to the logs, they do slightly less damage than Hunters do but are still incredibly strong if they have the right gear and if they're played appropriately. The reason why they're below Hunters though is because while Rogues need okayish if not decent gear to perform well, Hunters can go in with a loin cloth and a dream and top the meters while Rogues need to at least have some blue weapons from dungeons prior to raids. If you go in with a level 15 to agility dagger with 10 DPS, you're going to have a really bad time.

A Tier - Shaman

Shaman is a very interesting class when it comes to raiding. Their healing spec is second only to Priest. Their tanking spec is very strong and they are probably the best tanks for Season of Discovery Phase 2 or seconded by Druids and then Warriors. They will go into A tier since you can play pretty much any spec as a Shaman.

A Tier - Warlock

Warlock tanks are very strong. Their DPS is A+, and their tanking ability is also very good, so for that reason, they go as an A tier. Their transformation ability probably goes up into into S tier because it looks cool but their raw performance keeps them in the A tier.

B Tier - Druid

Their feral spec makes them an easy A tier of WoW Classic SoD Phase 2 raid ranking. With wild strikes, you will never fail to try and find a group. Especially on Alliance in later phases due to them not having access to Wind Fury regularly. Balance and Resto sadly bring them down quite a bit. Resto is currently the weakest of all of the healer specs, while balance can shine in certain situations. They still run into Mana issues, the same way they did pre-Season of Discovery and because of that, we’re going to move them down a tier. However, if you do plan on playing Feral, note that they are a solid A.

B Tier - Warrior 

Warriors are a solid B+ class. It should be noted that when they get well-geared, they can match TPS with the best of them maybe even up into the S tier on this Season of Discovery Phase 2 leveling tier list. However just like their leveling experience if they're missing the gear, they are quite poor. especially when starting and you don't have a headpiece or a neckpiece, you are going to be bottom of the meters.
