PoE 3.22 Best Late League Start Build - Top 6 Most OP Builds for Trial of Ancestors

8/25/2023 10:21:00 AM

No matter whether you're venturing into the Path of Exile 3.22 Ancestors League for the first time on the console or maybe you're choosing a second build because your first one really wasn't doing it for you or maybe you just got a late League start work got really busy had something to do over the weekend but you're starting out now. Do you want to know which is the best PoE 3.22 late League build should you choose? Well, let's talk about the top 5 PoE 3.22 best softcore builds for Trial of Ancestors that ended up on top.

Top 6 Best PoE 3.22 Late League Start Builds

Choosing a League start build, choosing a second build, or choosing an early League build is pretty impactful to how your entire experience is going to go. We are about several days into the League and putting this PoE 3.22 late League build guide on the day of the Console League start so that you can know what should be chosen.

1. Lightning Arrow Deadeye

If you are a softcore juicer, if you're someone who is just a really big advocate of going fast farming maps and gathering up a bunch of currency to maybe swap into a different build,  the best Path of Exile late league start build 3.22 is Lightning Arrow and the Deadeye Lightning Arrow. This is the most popular build by a pretty wide margin. You will have an absolutely excellent time cruising from the beach all the way up into easy tier 16 maps with absolutely no problem and it has been an absolute blast to play now. One big thing is that returning projectiles is the best support. There's no reason to do anything else from start to finish.

This build works really well for the league mechanic because one of the main ways that you actually function in the league mechanic is just going to be getting all of your guys set up standing towards the back and defending your totems. The build overall just performed exceptionally well. For softcore, if you are a decent player like you've played a league or two before, lightning arrow and the builds can transition into later, easily the best softcore league starter in PoE Trial of the Ancestors.

2. Elementalist Explosive Arrow, Cold DoT, DD

Elementalist is split up into Cold DoT, Detonate Dead, and Explosive Arrow. All three of these builds are super powerful. Explosive Arrow is a Ballista build for the Elementalist, still a very strong build. Same thing about Detonate Dead and the same thing about Creeping Frost and Cold Dot and all that kind of stuff. You can play these builds perfectly fine. If you want to play an Elementalist or a Witch, any of these builds will be an absolutely excellent choice. If you're playing in softcore, we would recommend avoiding most of these. Explosive Arrow is probably the one that we would suggest that you play. In softcore, Cold Dot and Detonate Dead are both not super useful. Instead, you should probably be playing a faster or clearer-oriented build.

3. Pathfinder Exsanguinate, Toxic Raid, Impending Doom

There are a couple of different builds that are being played here. There is the Exsanguinate Pathfinder build which is pretty strong, and Toxic Rain mostly with Ballistas which is also extremely strong. These are builds that have been pretty commonly used already at this point. Exsanguinate may be a little bit new for you as the Pathfinder is just finding relevancy as a poison based caster. Moreover, we suggest that you just stay away from the seismic traps, it's not really a very fun build and kind of annoying to play among other things.

Notably, there was an issue with Vixen's entrapment. There was a problem with the interaction with spell cascade and this was mainly for impending doom. This has been fixed for this Path of Exile Trial of Ancestors league. So if you want to play in Impending Doom and you want to play it this way, play it in this league because they have confirmed that it will be fixed in the next League coming up.

Poison Blade Vortex is a relatively popular and pretty decent build. It is not as powerful as Exsanguine but it is going to be a little bit more zoomy because you just press the button and you run through. If you're wanting to play a Pathfinder, any of these builds are perfectly fine. However Toxic Rain Ballistas are probably not the most fun build out of these, Exsanguinate definitely very powerful, and Impending Doom too, the Blade Vortex build is pretty good for just zooming around as well.

4. Inquisitor Righteous Fire

When it comes to the Inquisitor, there are a couple of different builds going on around. You might notice there's some eye of winter-type stuff. There are a couple of spark people but these are mainly people who are doing very super high-end bossing or carry builds for big groups. They're doing magic find groups so you're mostly going to be ignoring these people who are doing eye of winter. The main build that you're looking for is going to be Righteous Fire. If you want a lazy build, you can play Righteous Fire. Absolutely brand-new players who don't think that they can pilot the game very well or maybe you have mobility issues, should really be choosing Righteous Fire.

At this point in time, you should probably be playing a faster build or a build that can do more single-target damage. It’s not worth it to play Righteous Fire with Firetrap getting nerfed so heavily in this league and the ability just not really being that powerful anymore probably choose something else for League start.

5. Saboteur Hexblast Mines

Hexblast Mines seem to do extremely well. They're pretty good as a bosser and clearer. It seems overall went pretty well for most people playing it. Definitely a different style of play if you've never played a mine build. However, be careful when it comes to mine builds because they do have an interesting play style. The big thing about Hexblast Mines is that it won't randomly explode the mine unless there is a target for it. So that does make it slightly easier to set it up for bosses. You can still use the left click if the boss is loading up.

6. Juggernaut Boneshatter

Juggernaut is pretty much all Boneshatter and some Righteous Fire. Not really much to say about Boneshatter. It's the same as it always is, just the best melee build. If you're looking for a melee build, it's always Boneshatter. Other than that, Righteous Fire is for the very new players who want to get into Righteous Fire. You can play that but Inquisitor is a little bit better.
