New Trial of the Ancestors' Tattoos are introduced in Path of Exile 3.22. In this PoE 3.22 Tattoo guide, we're going to be talking all about everything you should know about Tattoos.
Tattoos are also known as Skill Tattoos in PoE 3.2. These consumable trinkets can be utilized to further improve your character build. Tattoos are a kind of passive customization for the Skill Tree, substituting the function of an Attribute Passive with a new, one-of-a-kind benefit. There is a wide selection of Tattoos, so it's likely that any build can find at least one that works for them. Keep in mind, it's only day two after PoE 3.22 Ancestors League roughly right now, so we don't have a great idea of how everything might play out. Next, we'll explain how to use, get, and trade Tattoos in Path of Exile 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors.
How To Use Tattoos In Path Of Exile 3.22?
Right now Tattoos aren't really seeing too much use though. Most of the Tattoos are anywhere between 1 to 5 C. People aren't responding to selling them because they're so cheap and there's not a whole lot of people using and supplying them right now. It might be a bit difficult to get your hands on them but if you get in quick, you can get some serious bargains on a lot of the strongest Tattoos. Tattoos can fix a problem with your build and Tattoos are a great way of doing that. We highly recommend you look into the effects of the Tattoos and try and achieve a similar effect as well on your build. Especially if you have a glut of attributes that you aren't using or needing, you should turn them into something else which can benefit you far more.
How To Get Tattoos In Path Of Exile 3.22?
Unlocking the 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors league mechanism is required to get access to Tattoos in Path of Exile. A Silver Coin is required for this. Most of the time, they will be left behind by defeated foes, especially Elites. Silver Coins may be used to enter the Halls of the Dead by right-clicking on them.
There is a Well in the Halls of the Dead that can be used to cross over into the afterlife. When you do, you'll encounter a wide range of NPCs, each of whom represents a different ethnic group. Tribal tattoos are another way in which each group expresses their identity.
In the southeast corner of the Halls of the Dead is where you'll discover The Eye of Destiny. Path of Exile 3.22 included a new league system based on an arena format. The available Tribes and their prizes will be displayed as you enter The Eye of Destiny. Tattoos, which may be obtained in the Trial of the Ancestors through various means, are one such award.
How To Trade Tattoos In Path Of Exile 3.22?
It's normally super hard to find Tattoos in PoE that you want on trade. Once you find a Tattoo that you're interested in, come up to Pathofexile.com, find trade sections, and search for Tattoos that you want. You can buy it here.
PoE 3.22 Makanga Tattoo Requirements
There is a special requirement placed on any Tattoo which says Makanga. Makanga Tattoo are incredibly powerful versions of Tattoos of each of the different clans. Every clan has one but they are so powerful that they also do have an additional requirement. There's no cap on how many of you can have of them but the additional requirement is quite brutal. For example, Tattoo of the Ngamahu Makanga replaced a small strength passive skill, but grades plus 1 to maximum fire res, an incredibly powerful effect. It has an additional thing that requires a maximum of 1 adjacent passive skill allocated. What this essentially means is that on your passive skill tree, when you have a node with this Makanga Tattoo the specific one on it, it's got that requirement of it's only allowed to have 1 adjacent passive note. That means it's only allowed to be connected to 1 adjacent node.
Each of the Makanga Tattoos has generally a reasonably similar effect but some of them have different ones. For Example, the Tattoo of Hinekora Mankaga has a different requirement to the one we just talk about. This one has 7 adjacent passive skills allocated so this one doesn't have the restriction of you only having 1, it allows you to have 7. Adjacent means connected, meaning you need to find a travel point that is connected to 7 other nodes. Essentially you're looking for a note which is in the middle of everything. All you have to do is look around and track down for yourselves, there is going to be probably a lot of these different points but they're definitely probably going to be difficult to track down.
PoE 3.22 Honoured Tattoo Requirements
Honoured Tattoos are a little bit cut and dry. The node that they replace is going to be the restriction instead of having these other wacky restrictions on them. Some of them replace small attribute nodes but some other ones of them replace big attribute nodes, so definitely pay attention to that as well before you start the craft with any of these Tattoos.
