D4 1.1 Tier List for S1 - Best Diablo 4 Season 1 Class After Patch 1.1
If you are wondering which is the best Season 1 class in D4 after the recent patch, this Diablo 4 1.1 class tier list by Gugey may give a clear idea about that.
5. Sorcerer - D Tier
The Sorcerer class got some nerfs in the Diablo IV Patch 1.1, if you are a new player just start the game, do not go with this class in the first season. The Vulnerable Damage and Critical Strike Damage are both reduced a lot, it even got the worst unique D4 items compared to other classes. In addition, the survivability and damage reduction of Sorc went down as well, they are going to be killed constantly.
4. Barbarian - C Tier
The next one is going to be Barbarian, which is ranked at a C tier. The Devs nerfed HOTA build, this is probably the only other option besides Whirlwind Barb. However, with the class nerfs, Whirlwind become a lot less overpowered now. There is even no insane build for Barbarian in Season 1, the amount of damage is cut in half. The uniques are not good as well, they got a new unique item, your core skills have up to a 20% chance to freeze enemies for 3 seconds and deal 0.75-1.5 cold damage to them, but it's not good enough to play this class.
3. Rogue - B Tier
At the B tier class for D4 S1 after the patch, Rogue is the only one. Rogue is a ton of fun, this is not a bad choice, but it's not going to be like it was at all. If you are planning to play Rogue class in Season One, Twisting Blade is one of the best options. Twisting Blade Rogue should still be viable, they're going to be more squishy than they were originally. Rogues got a new aspect called Pestilent Points, every third cast of Puncture is Poison Imbued with 100-150% of normal potency. It could be cool if you're running that trap build and you're running a poison imbuement. They did reduce the cooldowns for traps, so you'll be able to proc those traps faster, death trap will be able to spawn like 12 seconds and that's even without those upgrades, you can do to your poison imbuement to speed up your ultimate time cooldown.
2. Necromancer - A Tier
Moving on, the Necromancer should be above Rogue in S1. Bone Spear is still broken after all nerfs in D4 1.1, they also buffed a lot of blood-type builds with Blood Lance. The new legendary aspect for Necro is called Gore Quills, Blood Lance will consume Blood Orbs to also conjure lances from them. Each additional Blood Lance deals 20-50% of normal damage and prioritizes targeting un-lanced enemies. The Necromancer class will actually be better than Rogue for this season, Bone Spears still smashing Uber Lilith, and blood build will be way more viable now, it's fun to play. You can add Blood Lance upgrades, Blood Mist got a buff, those things will make the character more fun.
1. Druid - S Tier
Lastly, let’s take a look at the best class in Diablo 4 Season 1 after Patch 1.1. Druid is the only class that got unique items that are actually good, the one-handed mace called Fleshrender, it adds poison damage to enemies, you’ll also get a new aspect Subterranean, adding poison creeper and adding landslide automatically to poison creeper and then Earth skills deal up to 20 more damage to poisoned enemies. There are a lot of generic malignant hearts that could work as well. On the whole, the Druid class got the least amount of nerfs and got some buffs, for example, Savage Trample gain Spirit increases from 20 to 40. Poison Creeper with Pulverize and Trample, Debilitating Roar, and Earth Spike are going to be absolutely insane in S1. In addition, Insatiable Fury Werebear Skill Ranks increased from 2 to 3. Everything besides poison creepers getting a plus three if you have insatiable Fury and Vasily's Prayer helm. Druid is going to be a new meta in the first season of Diablo IV.
