WOW Dragonflight Big News - Elemental Lords Return Can Be Expect

From brand new WOW Dragonflight dialogue, 4 called elemental elders had battled Neltharion ages ago, and they were apparently defeated by his so-called trickery, probably hinting at his old god-infused powers. 

From these dialogues, just learned that the Dujardin are elementals in nature, that these so-called Elders were insanely powerful that they almost eliminated the dragons, and for a fact that 4 Elemental Lords exist. They are apparently slumbering underground and they seek to awaken them and that the djardin had made the so-called magma pact with Iridikron who by chance also just awakened.

Who are these 4 mysterious elders? 

The return of the Elemental Lords in WOW Dragonflight? 

Other than Cataclysm WOW Dragonflight is essentially the elemental expansion, it is only natural that Elemental Lords to some extent.

That WOW Dragonflight is a lot more elemental than Cataclysm despite the fact that literally ventured into the elemental realm, and that is because something like this might be happening quite soon. 

Another similar realm is definitely possible. Constantly have the proto-dragons are elemental storyline, the Primalists trying to get back to the old elemental ways, and the entire possibility of Azeroth being a world soul that is actually elemental in nature which actually makes a lot of sense. 

The elementals and the elemental lord 

As far as the elementals and the elemental lord are the only true native beings to a planet and how chaotic or peaceful, they really depend on what the world soul is like which definitely means there is some sort of a connection between these beings and Azeroth. 

Now at the same time, the storylines of how the Black Empire came and enslaved them and forced them to fight for them, and then the titans that came in and then defeated them and further enslaved them and sealed them in a pocket realm known as the elemental plane. It would be pretty safe to say that the elementals really are victims in this entire matter that are just getting rekt by these invading forces.

Even though they are quite chaotic themselves. The elementals are not these peaceful ancients, wise and old, but instead powerful native figures to Azeroth that constantly fight and have a strong will to dominate.

Now the first really strong clue is a significant amount of Djardin dialogue that not only hints at possible 10.1 content and the fact that going underground, but it also talks about the origin, their ancient alliance with Iridikron, and how they were defeated by Neltharion in the ages past. 

What is djardin?

Djardin are native beings, and they are actually elementals, they have sworn enemies of dragons and not just the titan dragons, but dragons in general, it's only that the titan dragons became more of a nuissance to them as they couldn't do anything against them. However, they are literally the dragon killer, dragon hunter race. It is said that the djardin was the first earth giant to walk the surface of Azeroth.

Shaping earth and mountains, they formed this land with their fists." Now it is important to note that a lot of the giants you know of are actually titan creations and are in turn titanforged and they also shaped the lands and the mountains with their fists.

This entire contrast between the native and the titan enhanced natives. According to legend, four elders of those ancient djardin joined their powers together to burrow deep inside the earth.

The legends do not agree on what happened down there, but they all end the same way. The elders emerged, touched by the fires of the world to be true djardin, commanding full control over fire and earth! In turn, the elders empowered all djardin into the mighty giants you see today!

However, who could these 4 elders be? 

They are only mentioned as elders but are they really Djardin? Some would say have the 4 old gods, but that is the case. However 4 elemental lords of water, fire, earth, and air. 

What is really important to note is that by the way the events chronologically work, this war seems to have happened prior to the massive Primalist Incarnates war against the Dragon Aspects.

This is because further dialogue talks about the so-called magma pact which is in regard to the Incarnate war. Apparently, the united djardin were still no match for the power, they had under the so-called 4 elders, and they kept constantly losing against the dragons. So suddenly the incarnate of the earth itself came down known as Iridikron and offered them a pact, an alliance. 

After the defeat of the elders, the djardin had allied with Iridikron and possibly even the old gods if that was the force that worked with the incarnate of earth. 

What is really important to note, though are the current events, that they are actively searching for their elders, and looking to awaken them from a 20 thousand-year-old-plus slumber. 

So with all these hints, who could these elders be? 

While it would be interesting to say these are the old gods, because there are 4 of them, it would be essentially impossible as they were imprisoned and if they broke free, as that would be a major event. 

However was it likely that the 4 Elemental lords managed to break free from their prison and were wreaking havoc across Azeroth until Neltharion defeated them and banished them underground.

Another possibility is that these could also be new figures, but they might be some sort of elemental lords that were subservient to the true ones. So maybe this was not Ragnaros and Therazane, but a few of them below. 

The reason just these two is that djardin, how they are made of fire and earth, but they don't talk about air and water, so adding Neptulon and Al'akir to this entire story, it would be kind of strange. 

So it is possible that these 4 djardin elders may in fact be some new elemental lords that will soon awaken.

In fact, this is the highest possibility, because actually run across these other elemental lords, and even defeated some like Ragnaros and they were not, in fact, slumbering underground. 

The Dragon Isles were in stasis, it is possible that the Djardin do not know this, but honestly, these elders are actually djardin related Elemental Lord lieutenants that might ultimately lead to further story development that might involve the actual Elemental Lords that all of us are familiar with. 

This might be happening as soon as 10.1 with all these underground hints. Elemental lore is insanely likely, the most likely possibility as WOW Dragonflight is all about it, but this could further segway into titan and Old God lore, because the elementals were heavily influenced by these 2 major cosmological forces.
