11/16/2022 2:54:49 PM

Blizzard finally released the pre-patch for Dragonflight and in this pre-patch they released a bunch of features like the new UI system layout and the new talent system which is really cool to see. People enjoyed everything that they brought to pre-patch so far, but upon the release of pre-patch fans have come into a bit of a problem, they have no idea what works well level 60. So today we are going to be talking about what builds will work best during Dragonflight pre-patch .

Best WoW Dragonflight Pre-Patch Builds For Enhancement Shaman

Mythic+ Build

There is one clear AOE build that worked really well for Mythic plus and right now the fire Nova build still remains Supreme when it comes to AOE, not many people are a fan of this playstyle, but it is the best AOE build right now for enhancement. The most noticeable things to do with this build is go all the way down the right side into Lashing Flames since this is where our main source of damage is going to come from. This build works very well with talenting into overflowing maelstrom and also going sundering and crash lighting for some added AOE damage.

Talent Tree

Take 2 points into elemental weapons for the pure damage gain, take 1 point into Gathering Storms to buff your storm strike damage, take 1 point into Crashing Storms to increase your chain lightning damage and also make it hit 2 additional targets. Lastly, you want to put 1 point into Feral Spirits, 2 into Witch Doctor's Ancestry and 1 into Alpha Wolf. You could also make a really strong case for going Elemental spirits, both are equally fine in this build. Where the Synergy lies within this build is between Witch Doctor's Ancestry and Swirling Maelstrom. Since one Talent relies on Maelstrom generation to reduce the cooldown of barrel spirits and the other provides plenty of it, this interaction allows you to cast feral Spirits at least twice in a decent size pack. With this build, you do lose out on a bit of single target damage, but it's still decent enough to get the job done.

The goal of this build is to keep wolves on cooldown while also constantly spreading your Lashing Flames Diva, making sure your are constantly refreshing the 50% haste you get from the primordial wave buff and keeping fire Nova on cooldown in any situation with more than two targets. If you can help it, try to avoid overcapping on Maelstrom and try to wait until you have 8 to 8 Stacks to make sure your chain lightning hits the hardest. If you already have experience using the firing Nova build, it won't be that hard to pick up again since nothing's changed fundamentally. The only difference is that your wolves will be coming off cooldown faster and casting Fire Nova will grant you about half of your bar in Maelstrom. This is pretty much the only build that working in AOE so far, so let's get into the single target builds.

 Dragonflight Pre-Patch Raid Build 1

There are plenty of builds going around for single targets since there are so many talent and legendary variations. So this is the ones that worked the best and the most gained from.

The first build is very similar to what we ran in season 3 and season 4 of Shadowlands, there's not really much different from before except for the fact that we have Doom Winds and two charges of elemental blast. This build is probably the most consistent damage wise, so if you want to play it safe with a single target build, this is probably the best build you can run. Ashen Catalyst and centering have roughly the same DPS, so if you prefer running one over the other, feel free to do so.

Dragonflight Pre-Patch Raid Build 2

If you're bored of this play style, there's another enhancement shaman build we can use for WoW Dragonflight. This build simply utilizes the fact that we can use the ascendance cooldown along with the deeply rooted elements legendary. This interaction makes the build cool and fun to play. The goal is to tone into anything storm strike while also taking 1 point into Molten Assault to refresh your Flame Shock dot, taking static accumulation and thorums allows you to endlessly spam win strike when you're in ascendance form, without the risk of overcapping on Maelstrom. The build was pretty straightforward just make sure not to overcap on Maelstrom and make sure to keep elemental blast on cooldown. Use Ascendance and Doom Winds on pull and continue to use them whenever they're up.
