What to Do at 1370 in LA - LA 1370 Gear (Armor & Weapon) Guide

4/24/2022 4:51:06 PM

1370 item level is an important point of the tier 3 content in LA, once you hit that gear score, you can start some new tasks including dungeons and raids, what to do at 1370, and the next a few days?

What to Do When You Hit 1370 Item Level in LA - 1370 Gear (Armor & Weapon) Guide

In the first and second week after you hit Lsot Ak 1370 gear, what to do and what should you craft? Preordained Diligence vs Harsh Oath set, which one to choose?

Week 1 - Run Hard Mode Abyssal Dungeon & Argos Phase 1

When you reach 1370 item level gear, you can unlock the hard mode Abyssal Dungeon and Argos phase 1, the hard mode Abyssal Dungeon shares a lockout with the normal Abyssal Dungeon, so you can only do one of them each week.

Once you get 1370 gear in Lsot Ak, the first thing you should do is work on your legendary set. There is going to be a legendary five-piece armor set and also a weapon you can get, talk to the NPC in Punika and craft your legendary set with materials farmed from the Hard Mode Abyssal Dungeons and Argos. In each of these dungeons, they are going to drop different materials, for hard mode abyssal dungeons, you are able to get Oreha’s Empyrean, and in Argos, it’s going to drop Argos’s Blood.

In the first week, you will not have enough materials to craft the full Argos set, people are going to craft the mix of the two sets, between the hard mode abyssal set and the Argos set. So in the first week, you are going to be able to get 5 pieces in total. You can run the first two hard mode abyssal dungeons to get 35 Oreha’s Empyrean to craft two pieces of the legendary armor set (10 Empyrean each armor) and one piece of the legendary weapon (15 Empyrean each weapon), then run Argos phase one to get Argos Blood in order to craft the body and pants, so you’ll have five pieces in total.

When it comes to crafting legendary armor pieces and weapons, choose your preferred set based on your class and build, there are going to be two sets that you can craft. One is the Preordained Diligence set and the other one is the Harsh Oath set. Most DPS classes are going after the Preordained Diligence set, if you are a support class, you're going after the Harsh Oath set. These two sets are a little bit confusing, the bonuses are kind of complicated, however just make it really simple, the Preordained Diligence set gives you more crit chance whereas the Harsh Oath set gives you more crit damage, and so almost every single damage dealing class wants to buy and make the Preordained Diligence set, it is really good for most classes, in general, this means that supports, on the other hand, are want to go Harsh Oath

Week 2 - Run Argos Phase 2 and Craft More Argos Armor

After crafting all that, save up all your honing materials for hitting the 1385 gear, which is the breakpoint for the Argos Raid phase two. Then in the second week, you are to run Hard Mode abyssal dungeon for 15 Empyrean to craft final pieces and upgrade your gear to 1385, which allows you to do Argos phase 2 within 1 reset, also craft remaining Argos armor. In order to do Argos phase 2, you can try to farm infinite Chaos Dungeons to get more stones and use Una’s task tickets to get some additional stones. Once you boost your item level to 1385, you should be able to do phase two of Argos and have enough mats to craft the extra Argos piece. As you continue to do Argos, you're gonna replace all your armors with Argos armor and then you're gonna use the chosen weapon, which is the hard mode abyssal weapon because it's easier to reroll, the weapon than actually rolling Argos, it's a lot cheaper that way and also you only need five pieces for the armor reset bonus, there's no six-piece armor set bonus with the weapon.

For support classes, specifically like bard and paladin in week one, you have a possibility of doing Argos in your first week. There are many groups that are looking for support for Argos, especially in phase two, because when you clear Argos in phase one, you don't get the rewards until your group votes to quit the instance, so after you complete phase one if your group votes to quit, you're gonna get the rewards there, however, if you don't quit, you can push on to phase two, the item level is recommended for 1385 for phase two. But there are many groups willing to take support that's 1370 because there are phases in phase one and phase two where supports are very useful, you'll have a greater chance to succeed and if only two classes are supports, it's not too bad, because if your DPS is still 1385, you're gonna be able to dish out the damage for Argos while still having the support buffs and shields as well.
