Lance Master is the 5th subclass of the martial artist and will be added to LSOT AK with the April update. My MMO author Anny Bader has taken a closer look at them and explained what is important. On the Russian and Korean servers, the Lance Master is very popular. Amazon and Smilegate responded to the wishes of the fans, which is why the class will soon be available to play on our servers.
She is the only martial artist who carries a real weapon instead of fighting with her fists. With the Lance Master, you switch between a spear and a glaivie. Depending on the weapon, the abilities you can use will vary. As Lance Master, you are as mobile as the Deathblade. At least if you activate the right tripods. You can thus move quickly in battle. This is important because you do more damage with some attacks from behind and thus often have to reposition yourself. In this post, we are going to cover 6 tips for playing Glaivier which will really help you a lot.
For whichever builds you go, you have like at least six or five skills that actually do the DPS which means you have to invest in all the gems for those skills and upgrade all the tripods for those skills as well, and this is one of the reason that makes glaivier or lance master one of the most expensive class in KR server (that does that doesn't mean that enclavio is not playable and there's always a way out in LSOT AK).
Our advice in tripod is that when you get the drops from the Chaos dungeon like plus two tripods to use it for yourself, because plus two have like 60 chance to succeed if you use the powder and that's worth to go for it. If you get like plus three or plus four, we would recommend you to sell it first, because in KR like currently, plus four are expensive and plus three is like it's really cheap, while when this class gets released then even the price of the those plus three tripods will skyrocket really much. So if you get those plus three or plus four tripods from the chaos dungeon, then check the auction house first and if it's expensive or you sell it, because it's obvious that the price will go down no sooner or later, and if the price goes down then that's the time you buy plus three or plus four with less LA gold.
For the gems, glavier has like five or six DPS skills, you have to balance out the gems on all your DPS skills. Most likely, you need to go like all levels like four or all levels like five or six something like that you need to at least balance out the gems for all of the skills. As priority we recommend you to invest in the skills that are in red stance first because most of the red skills have the guaranteed crit tripod. Having guarantee crit means those skills hit harder than other skills, so you want to invest in the gems on those skills prior to other skills, so that's how you balance out.
For the first tripod - Find Weakness increases the damage and Quickly Prepare reduces the cooldown, so you can go either one from here.
For the second line - Critical Threat increases the crit rate if you hit the skill by edge, and Wild Beast's Eye increases also increase the crit rate by 50 and the damage by 50. This tripod turns this skill into a charging skill, so basically if you hit by the edge that means you will have a 50 plus 50 crit rate which is a guaranteed crit hit.
It's it looks like a good skill right but in most of the PV contents like both almost all of the glazier players don't use this skill because you have to make a certain distance to get full crit which is inconvenient, but there is equalized contents that this skill is actually in where basically your character becomes weak and having like guaranteed crit skills in that kind of weak status makes you much stronger than other classes. That's one of the reason why glaivier is one of the strongest class when it comes to equalized contents.
If you want to make the distance easily when using Red Dragon Fight Skill, then pair it up with The Decent of the Moon which is the movement skill for the glaivier. If you use The Decent of the Moo skill from where the boss is, then is kind of like the distance for hitting the edge with this Red Dragon Fight Skill, so the advice is to use this rescue and the movement skill and to make the distance and then use this Red Dragon Fight Skill, then it will guarantee crit.
For glavier, most of the DPS comes from the buff from the identity when you switch over, so basically, you want to use all the strongest skills as possible before the buff ends and then you need to quickly switch over to another stance and spam other strong attacks, then switch over again. So this is the basic cycle. And if you go for the ambush master, what it means is that you have to chase the back of the bob all the time, and chasing the position like that suppresses this playstyle (The play style of quickly switching over). This is already studied in KR but doesn't mean that you don't have to back attack. Of course, it would be better to go for back attack, because in LSOT AK, if you do back attack with back attack skills then you get five percent of additional damage bonus and ten percent of a crit rate bonus.
Which Engraving Should I go for on the 4th? Actually, Glaivier is kind of debatable but most of the time mass increase is better than Cursed Doll for the fourth engraving because of mass engraving. Like there's a penalty of ten percent attack speed, but for behavior, if you get the buff from the red stance to the blue stance, the buff compensates this penalty because it provides you additional attack speed. It does matter in the red stance because in when you switch over from the blue to the residence, there's no attack speed buff. When you think about Grudge, this one has the penalty of the HP restoration and the only time that we think the cursed doll is better to go over the mass increase is when you're a type of person that doesn't get hit by a lot. If you go for a crystal instead of the mass increase you might face a lack of potion easily and besides mass increase gives two percent more of attacks when compared to the cursed doll.
How you should buy the accessories for preparing for playing Glaivier? Basically, if you want to main a stat like Specialization and Swiftness, then you wanna go for the necklace that has both of these stats, this part is the only part that will have swiftness. For other accessories, you want to spam it with the ones that have a specialization. There's one thing that we want to give you advice on buying the real accessories when it comes out for the first time: it's obviously going to skyrocket when it comes out for the first time, in that case, just go for the low quality or if you're if you cannot afford it and change over to those with higher quality later or when the price goes down.
The last one is tips on which Argos gear set to go for when you enter your first lesion rate voltage normal mode at 1415 gear level. Basically, there are like three kinds of building comprehensively. For climax there are two builds, first one is mainly specialization with having skills that have a guaranteed critic tripod, and the second one is the one going for crit and specialization stats with going for a tripod that increases your damage rather than making you do the guaranteed critic.
For the first one when you main the specialization for the climax, the set you want to go for is the set that increases crit rate and the other one raises the crit damage. You want to go for the crit damage for this build because you already have most of the skills that guarantee a crit on the skills, so obviously, you want to go for the quick damage since this will increase your DPS much more than going for crit rate.
If you are the one who is going for the second build which means crit and specialization, then you want to go for this one with the crit rate because that one doesn't have much crit, so you need the one that can give you more crit rate.
There's the last one the moderation in class engraving, if you're going for the moderation one, you also want to go for the crit rate because that one also needs some crit rate as well.
The best weapon you want to go for the Glaivier is the Chosen Spear which is much cheaper than other these two sets.
You want to go for five of the defense gears for the bonus set, and the rest of the one for the chosen one for the weapon.
