WOW TBC Classic Phase 4 - 7 Unexpected Changes in WOW TBC

WOW TBC Classic Phase 4 is finally here, and since the release of WOW TBC Classic Phase 4, players around the world have been enjoying the new content that this patch brings, but in true Blizzard fashion, they have been making new changes to the PTR. Today, we take a look together! 

WOW TBC Classic Phase 4 - 7 Unexpected Changes in WOW TBC

WOW TBC Classic Phase 4 change 1 - The achievements for the black temple and mount hyjal 

First of all the sneakiest change that came out of this patch was the achievements for the black temple and mount hyjal, which were actually removed at the last minute, if you just reached level 70 today you can join any burning crusade raid you want, there are no raid coordination requirements in the game Coordination requirements.

Of course, people will still check your gear if you want to join bt or Hyjal and your log, but other than that if you have a guild willing to invite you, nothing can stop you anymore, will be open from Sunwell to ICC to anywhere they want to stop classic, if you still want to do the Truman questline and get your Karabor medal teleported to shadow moon valley, you can still do that, not sure if you still get adult titles, but pretty sure if anyone has done this quest after giving up in the past.

WOW TBC Classic Phase 4 change 2 - Heroic dungeons

Quote heroic dungeons have been tweaked to their final 2.4.3 status. Did a heroic dungeon check the Manatombs? Checked their hp and compared it to the footage obtained from WOW TBC classic phase 1 also went through every old patch note from patch 2.3 to 2.43 and there was nothing that specifically mentioned anything other than bug fixes or changes to the magus platform that hadn't already appeared in the game, some parts of some dungeons may have been nerfed.

Heroic dungeons are so far the exact same minions with the exact same amount of hp as before, at least when it comes to fallible tombs they hit just as hard as before, maybe Blizzard forgot to actually add this change to the game, or the change has nothing to do with hp or damage.

Requirements to enter Heroic Dungeons are now lowered from the respective faction's reverence to respect, which is good news if you're a new player, returning player, or have a new character.

WOW TBC Classic Phase 4 change 3 - Badges

Gaining honour is a piece of cake, in fact, if you have reached 70 you have probably already gained most of it, Ionheroic dungeons drop some solid gear themselves, the real gear you are after when performing these actions is the new justice badges, you can get the new gear from bulk suppliers and have actually kept it for a few days until Zulaman is released, yesterday you should go and check it out and get the agrobadges to get the badges you want, except for the black temple and mount hydro.

Now in Karazhan, you get a bunch of badges from the first boss in addition to those badges which should also drop from every raid, then in the 25 man raid the remaining boss has two badges and the last boss has three badges dropping three each, it also resets every raid. 

Performing badges is fantastic, if you are after badges remember to do heroics at least once a day depending on how many bosses there are each day, just doing one heroic dungeon will give you five to seven badges, if you do these every day you should soon have a full set of gear and be ready to jump into the black temple or Hyjal.

WOW TBC Classic Phase 4 change 4 - A flying mount

If you are currently riding on a flying mount and disconnect the next time you log on to the mount you will fall to your death, this is a very annoying change and it has been in the WOW TBC Classic for a few days now, hopefully, we will get a fix or news from Blizzard soon.

WOW TBC Classic Phase 4 change 5 - Professions

Talking about professions, you can now buy nether vortex with justice badges for free from badges suppliers or with wow TBC classic gold from the auction house, they can now be traded as well, there are a lot of very sturdy crafted items that you can craft with or buy outright so this should directly affect their price, if it hasn't already, they should become cheaper as time goes on.

- A Jewelcrafter

WOW TBC Classic Phase 4 change 5 - New NPC Zephyr

Zephyr is a new NPC added in WOW TBC classic phase 4 which teleports you to the caves of time for free as you are revered by the time keepers, this has saved almost an hour of running time if you are not already revered by the time keepers, it is highly recommended that you do this as soon as possible, you can do this by performing a dern hold and black morass and completing their respective quests to gain respectability easily, then you just need to do a few valiant runs in one of the dungeons.

Whether you're Horde or Alliance you'll get revered quickly which will save a lot of time, the raid that was released yesterday, breezed through it and had about 5 minutes left to reach the mount, despite the awful route it was a super easy raid packed with some crazy wow TBC classic gear.

WOW TBC Classic Phase 4 change 6 - Guild

WOW TBC Classic guild is tried again, this time bringing more alternatives, a better route, and almost no timing this time. It's really easy if you want to clear it, if you're after a mount you better bring some big bumpers, these bosses have a lot of hp and the difference is definitely noticeable when you bring a bunch of level 5 level 6 dpsers against a fresh alt, this causes a lot of toxic scenarios in many pugs where people expect to beat the timer and quickly realize their group can't do it and then leave halfway through after killing a boss or two in LFG recruiting a lot of groups, the reality of this raid, as people learn the bosses, refine their routes and get more gear.

WOW TBC Classic Phase 4 change 7 - The best gear for hunters

The gear you get from this WOW TBC Classic Phase 4 raid is absolutely insane, this has four pieces of the best gear for hunters that drop in this raid and more other non-bis gear that is totally on par with level VI, this is the true definition of a catch-up raid, as are many other professions, basically anything you get from here is either on par with level 6, you get a whopping 13 justice badges from completing a full quest, 10 more runs if you get Zolgen quest items for blood, and 5 more runs if you complete a quest chain here, which is your first order of business.
