This FUT promo, which was introduced in FIFA 19 to replace Ratings Refresh, can make significant adjustments to player stats as well as upgrades/downgrades. Every Friday throughout the month of February, EA Sports will release a list of updated player items in FUT game, showing outstanding and famous players from around the world of football. How to get these cards? The only way to obtain one of these new FIFA 22 Winter Upgrades/Downgrades is to either find one in a pack, or purchase them via the FUT transfer market within Ultimate Team.

When Do Winter Upgrades Come Out On FIFA 22

During the January transfer window, EA will release new versions of players at their new clubs. This took place throughout the month of January and into February once all the deals were completed. The Ratings Refresh took place once the transfer window closed. In FUT 19, the promo launched on February 15, 2019, In FUT 20, the promo launched on February 14, 2020, and in FUT 21, the promo launched on 26 February 2021, so it’s predicted that the FIFA 22 Winter Refresh promo will start around mid-February 2022 following the close of the January transfer window. However, this has yet to be officially confirmed.

FIFA 22 Winter Ratings Refresh Rules 2022 - Winter Refresh Upgrade Criteria

- Only players who are receiving a +3 OVR upgrade from their current base item are eligible to receive a player upgrade.

- If an upgraded player’s new OVR rating and/or face stats do not equal or surpass his existing in-form's rating, his IFs will not get an upgrade.

- If an upgraded player’s new OVR rating or face stats equal or surpass his existing first in-form's rating, his IFs will get an upgrade:

- This does not apply to Ultimate Scream items.

- Future Stars Objectives Players will not be upgraded.
