Twinblades are the best weapons in Elden Ring. Which Twinblade is the best in Elden Ring after patch 1.10? Read our Elden Ring 1.10 Twinblade tier list 2024, we rank them from worst to best!
Twinblades are quite a unique weapon in Elden Ring that can either be single-handed or two-handed or even dual-wielded. They provide a middle ground between the damage outputs of Greatswords and Straight Swords. Superior at building up status effects due to the multiple hits in its attack patterns, especially jumping attacks. However, most Twinblades (5 out of 6) are not available until reaching the Altus Plateau, a later stage in the game. Moreover, they cannot be farmed from enemies, so obtaining two of the same Elden Ring items requires either player cooperation or progressing to New Game Plus (NG+). Next, let’s take a look at the best Elden Ring 1.10 Twinblades and builds 2024!
6. Gargoyle’s Black Blades
Location: Black Blade Kindred at the Forbidden Lands
Gargoyle’s Black Blades does physical and holy damage and it scales with strength dexs and faith. Though it does scale primarily with strength, faith secondarily, and then dex not at all. But you do have to eat some of each of three of those categories in order to wield this Twinblade. It has the highest attack rating of all of the Twinblades but it has poor fade scaling in general which makes it hard to make faith build. Therefore, you have to have that faith requirement to make something with this build. The ash of war “Spinning Slash” can't be changed and it's also not great on this weapon because it doesn't use the whole aspect. You can't make anything really good with this build and you'd probably be two-handing them because of the strength focus of the Twinblade.
5. Twinblade
Location: Dragon-Burnt Ruins
Twinblade only requires strength and dexs in order to use. It does come with a spinning slash by default and you can change this. The Twinblade has a default move set, it's also the second lightest of the Twinblades and has the lowest damage compared to all of the different Twinblades. The trade-off to that is you can get the Twinblade very quickly at like the start of the game in the Dragon-Burnt Ruins. So if you're looking to make the best Elden Ring 1.10 Twinblade build early on, you can get this right at the start. It does primarily scale with dexterity so you will want to focus on that potentially in dual-wielding setup. To be noted, this is not a Twinblade that is too handy to make a strength build. But you can change the ash of war, put the heavy variant on it, and make a strength build.
4. Twinned Knight Sword
Location: East Windmill Pasture in Altus Plateau
This is another strength and dex scaling weapon. It is very similar to the Twinblade itself except it comes much later in the game. It has the default move set, it's the second heaviest of the Twinblades. It has the longest reach of all of the Twinblades and it's in the middle of the pack compared to damage of the more unique Twinblades but it does more damage than the Twinblade itself. It also has much better strength scaling when you do level it out whereas the Twinblade focuses on dexs. A two-handed build works better with the Twinned Knight Sword because you can change the ash of war like the Black Flame Tornado or even Ice Spear which gets you a lot more value.
3. Gargoyle’s Twinblade
Location: Valiant Gargoyle (Twinblade)
Gargoyle’s Twinblade is another strength and dex scaling Twinblade with the default move set. This is the heaviest of the Twinblades with the highest attack rating of all of the Twinblades. It has the shortest reach which is its major trade-off. It's got that high attack rating but it does have the shortest reach. This is one of the best Elden Ring 1.10 Twinblades that has the highest damage. Great for a two-handed build, you can two-hand this but it loses a bit of that reach. This one has more damage potential and you can change the ash before on it. If you're looking for long reach build in PvP where you're trying to catch enemies to twin nights or definitely wins out in that regard.
2. Godskin Peeler
Location: Godskin Apostle at Windmill Village, Altus Plateau
Godskin Peeler is a unique best Elden Ring 1.10 Twinblade that has a unique R2 effect. It's the second heaviest of the Twinblade, it scales primarily with dexterity, so perfect to make a dual-wield dexterity-focused build. Although it doesn't have great strength scaling, you can change its ash of war into something else that you want to. However, what's really special about this weapon is it comes with Black Flame Tornado by default. It's also perfect for combining with some other weapon because of its really solid damage overall and scaling. It's more of a dual wielding or wielding in one hand with something in the other hand. The Godskin Pillar is very strong and it's absolutely a solid option!
1. Elanora's Poleblade
Location: Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger, at the Second Church of Marika
Elanora's Poleblade is an extremely unique weapon that's one of the best weapons in Elden Ring after 1.10 patch. It does physical and fire damage which is one of its unique aspects. It scales primarily with dex and arcane though leaning a little bit more into arcane than dexs but you will need it to have at least 19 arcane in order to even use this weapon. It's got that blood loss build up, plus the fire and physical damage so plenty of value are you getting out of the weapon on its own. Plus it has Bloodblade Dance which is very similar to like Rivers of Blood. You can combine with Flame Grant Me Strength into a minor faith build. Overall, this is Elden Ring 1.10 best Twinblade build. It's got a great attack rating, a brutal Ash of War and it's the lightest of the Twinblades!
