It has been two weeks since we entered the WoW Classic Season of Discovery. Many players have quickly reached the Phase 1 Max 25 Level Cap, and experienced BFD raid and Ashenvale PvP. Now we are starting to look forward to the arrival of Phase 2 of Season of Discovery, as new raids, PvP zones, and runes are confirmed to feature in the next update. WoW Season of Discovery Phase 2 Release Date

The release date for Phase 2 of Season of Discovery in World of Warcraft Classic has not been officially announced by Blizzard yet. However, based on the information available, it is expected to be released around February 2024.

Here is the reason for the prediction of the Season of Discovery Release Date:

• Season Duration: How long is Phase 1 in Season of Discovery? Season of Discovery is expected to last roughly one year, similar to its predecessor, Season of Mastery. Since Season of Discovery started in November 2023, it is reasonable to assume that SoD Phase 1 will last 3 months and Phase 2 will be released around February 2024, three months after the initial release.

• Patch Schedule: Season of Discovery is planned to have four updates in total, consisting of phases one, two, three, and four. If we divide the year into four equal parts, each phase would be released approximately every three months. Following this pattern, February 2024 would mark the release of Phase 2.

WoW Season of Discovery Phase 2 New Features (Level, Raid, PvP Zone, Runes & More)

In Phase 2 of World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery, players can expect several exciting the following features and additions to the game:

• Increased Level Cap:

  The level cap will be raised up to 40 in WoW SoD Phase 2. This means that players will be able to progress further in their character's development and unlock new abilities and talents.

• Gnomeregan Raid:

  Gnomeregan, a famous dungeon in World of Warcraft, will be introduced as a raid in Phase 2 of Season of Discovery. Players will have the opportunity to explore this iconic dungeon and face off against its challenging bosses, and earn valuable loot.

• Potential New PvP Zone:

  Stranglethorn Vale is rumored to become the new PvP zone in Phase 2. PvP zones provide opportunities for players to engage in player-versus-player combat and compete for rewards.

• More Runes and Abilities:

  Phase 2 will bring more Runes, which are new abilities that players can unlock through "Discoveries" at unknown locations. These Runes can be added to specific gear slots, such as Chest, Hands, and Legs, providing additional customization and power to characters.
