Prepare to embark on a frosty adventure as New World Winter Convergence update descends upon the mystical world of Aeternum once more! Icy winds and the enchanting glow of Gleamites fill the air, ushering in the holiday spirit as players get ready to celebrate the season in the beloved MMORPG realm. In this special event, you'll have the opportunity to visit Winter villages and meet the enigmatic Winter Wanderer, who will entrust you with holiday quests like no other. But that's not all – the NW Winter Convergence festivities come with a treasure trove of limited-time rewards, from festive skins and emotes to housing items that will transform your Aeternum abode into a winter wonderland. Winter Convergence Festival Release Date

Based on previous years, the 2023 Winter Convergence event is expected to run from December 5th through January 10th. The exact dates have not been officially confirmed by Amazon Games yet.

New World Winter Convergence Tokens

Like last year, there's a handful of different ways you can grind up the tokens including following roots to pick up some lost presents as well as taking a look at the sky during nighttime to see some meteorites. When the meteorite hits the ground tons of these different resources will be scattered around the area where you'll be able to quickly mine it up and convert those into tokens as well.

By clicking M just like other events, you can find it on the map. Get a group together, grind it out, and then you'll be able to pick up some additional tokens. This way as well once you have all of these different raw resources, you'll be able to go back to one of the winter villages. Once you gather up all of your tokens and then essentially convert them into either normal tokens or premium.

New World Winter Warrior Spawn Locations

Players should seek out the friendly yeti Winter Wanderer, located in any of the new Winter Villages set up in designated locations. He will have a short questline that rewards exclusive event items and introduces the lore behind the New World Winter Convergence Festival 2023. The formidable Winter Warrior world boss will spawn randomly in certain territories, including Brightwood, Brimstone Sands, Edengrove, Ebonscale Reach and Great Cleave. Players will need a group of 20 or more to defeat this powerful foe.

One of the most exciting aspects of the Winter Convergence is the opportunity to earn new and exciting loot. There are a variety of different loot items available, including festive skins, emotes, housing items, pets, mounts, and more.

• Winter Warrior's Bow: This accurate bow is perfect for hunting down Winter Warriors.

What To Buy During New World Winter Convergence?

In the actual event shop, we can see tons of items you can pick up during the New World Winter Convergence event. One of the most important is a brand-new item called the “Pristine Gleamite”. This essentially allows you to craft a guaranteed 700 gear score item, using one of these winter-themed patterns. It does look like there is a week-long cooldown but regardless it's going to be worth grinding this out and just crafting some 700 gear score items. 

Other than that, there is an Azoth Inductor and Chromatic Seal in the store. This is a huge deal because it can save you tons of New World gold and it's 100% worth picking up. There is a cool down for both of those as well, they're probably both a week or so just like the Pristine Gleamite. This is not confirmed yet. Besides that, there are a few other items such as emotes and skins. 

New World Winter Convergence Patterns

During the New World Winter Convergence, players can obtain Winter Convergence Patterns, which are used to craft festive armor and weapons. These patterns can be earned in a variety of ways, such as:

• Completing Winter Wanderer quests

• Defeating Winter Warriors

• Opening Winter Convergence Gift Boxes

Once you have obtained a New World Winter Convergence Pattern 2023, you can use it to craft the corresponding item at a Weaving Station or Armorer's Forge. The required materials for crafting will vary depending on the item.

How To Get Winter Convergence Patterns 2023 In New World?

New World Winter Convergence Event Tips

Winter Warrior Abilities and Attack Patterns:

• Melee Swipes: Fast powerful swipe attacks that can hit multiple targets. Main tank should position boss away from group.

• Ice Breath: Boss kneels and exhales a frozen cone attack that deals heavy damage and snares targets hit. Melee must dodge out of cone.

• Avalanche Slam: Boss jumps up and body slams the ground, dealing damage in a large AOE. Also spawns many Avalancher adds.

• Shockwave: Boss unleashes a frontal shockwave that deals heavy knockback and damage. Entire group must move out of shockwave path.

• Boulder Toss: Boss picks up and hurls large boulders that stun/damage on impact and spawn more adds on missed hits.

Adds to Watch For:

• Avalanchers: Spawn from abilities and attacks, which detonate if hit by AOE shockwaves.

• Frostfangs: Deal high melee damage with fast attacks. Interrupt casters that buff themselves.

• Frostgrips: Slow ranged casters that root targets hit. Prioritize interrupting Frost Zones and lobbed rocks.

Recommended Strategy:

Assign tanks to kite and wipe adds while damages burst boss.

Healers stand apart and watch for Ice Breath/Shockwave tells to avoid multi-hits.

Ranged DPS burn boss between ability casts and cleave adds down.

Bring damage and healing boosting consumables found from turkey skinning.

20+ players recommended due to boss HP and add pressure during fight. Communicate and coordinate attacks!
