Excellent huge news for Diablo 4. We've got a brand new road map, we've got new unique rings and we've also got even more free cosmetics that you will be able to unlock in Season 2. Watch our D4 Season 2 Malignant ring tier list, we'll talk about the best D4 Malignant rings and how to get them in patch 1.2.2.
On Tuesday, November 7th, there's going to be a new patch 1.2.2 that has these newer unique rings called Malignant rings. These are going to be similar to the Malignant powers that we had. These Malignant rings are class-specific Ancestral unique rings that are 800 item power. Each class will receive a unique Ancestral ring tailored to amplify their best builds and playing styles. While all of the rings provide valuable stats, some stand out as true game-changers. Read our D4 1.2.2 Malignant Ring tier list to find out the best new unique rings in Season 2, as well as the best Maligant Ring builds for all classes.
S Tier
1. Ring of Red Furor (Barbarian)
Ring of Red Furor is going to the Diablo 4 Season 2 best Malignant ring. After spending 100 fury within 3 seconds, your next cast of Hammer of the Ancients, Upheaval, or Death Blow is a guaranteed critical strike and deals up to 1.3 multiplicative critical strike damage bonus. It's completely insane and it's with all upgrades as well. This is a level item power 800 ring and it's giving you 17 resource generation already if it's not upgraded. If you usually get 50% from upgrading it five times 10% each, you're going to get 26% resource generation on this and you're going to get about 20 max fury which has an insane synergy with Hammer of the Ancients, plus you're going to get 15% attack speed. This ring is going to be a huge synergy for our HotA build that's already one of the best builds in the game, and it's going to get even stronger.
A Tier
Tal Rasha’s Iridescent Loop (Sorcerer)
This D4 Season 2 Malignant ring will be insane for Ball Lightning Sorcerer because it has resource generation, lucky hit chance, nonphysical damage, and cool-down reduction on a ring. This on a Sorcerer is really good and it's giving you 1.5 x multiplicative damage for every element that you have. So you can rock this with fire, cold, lightning and you get like 50% more damage. This Tal Rasha’s ring is going to be one of the best D4 1.2.2 Maligant rings in Season 2.
Airidah’s Inexorable Will (Druid)
Airidah’s Inexorable Will is also one of the best Diablo IV Season 2 Maligant rings. This pixel pull ring is also insane whenever you have an ultimate active and it's giving you ultimate skill cool down reduction. Like a unique set and it's going to upgrade to a 15% cool-down reduction on a ring. A sick ring for Druids too.
Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul (Necromancer)
This is going to be the GG ring for Bone Spear Necro and this one has insane luck. It's probably going to be a 20% lucky hit chance if you upgrade it and it's going to give you max essence, max life, and max rank to all corpse skills. So this is probably going to be five ranks to your corpse explosion, pretty cool for Infinimist, pretty cool for Bone Spear plus five ranks to corpse tendrils and you are automatically activating your corpse skills. Corpse explosion once every second, and corpse tendrils every 8 seconds, so they nerfed the tendrils a little bit.
C Tier
Writhing Band of Trickery (Rogue)
Rogue’s new Malignant ring looks a little bit underwhelming. It can have some potential with some of the pixel pulling. Casting a subterfuge skill leaves a decoy trap that lures enemies continuously and it occurs every 12 seconds. You can make a pixel pool every 12, maybe it's going to be great. It's going to give us crit strike chance, crit damage, damage of crowd control, and life. It's the godliest stats that you can ask for the most part on a ring instead of crit. It's pretty much the best in slot ring for the rolls. Now unfortunately, the unique power on this could be a little bit lackluster because it's going to make a decoy trap that lures enemies in and it's going to explode dealing some sort of damage.
How To Get Malignant Ring In Diablo 4 Season 2?
You're going to be acquiring Diablo 4 patch 1.2.2 Malignant Rings from Varshan.Varshan is a world boss in Diablo 4. He is a powerful demon lord who can be summoned by collecting four Malignant Body Parts: a Gurgling Head, a Blackened Femur, a Trembling Hand, and a Malignant Heart.
Tips For Killing Varshan
To summon Varshan, players must first obtain a Malignant Invoker from Cormond's Workbench. Once they have the Invoker, they must travel to the Echo of Varshan altar in the Dry Steppes and use the Invoker to summon the boss.
Varshan is a challenging boss fight, and players should be well-prepared before attempting to summon him. He has a variety of powerful attacks, including a lightning breath attack, a stomp attack, and a summon attack that brings forth Lesser Malignants.
Be prepared for a long and challenging fight. Varshan has a lot of health and can deal a lot of damage.
Bring a group of friends or guildmates to help you fight Varshan. He is a very difficult boss to defeat solo.
Focus on dodging Varshan's attacks and staying out of his range.
Use your most powerful attacks and abilities to take down Varshan as quickly as possible.
We would highly recommend you save all of your Varshan materials because these will not drop until Tuesday. So if you have any Echoes of Varshan, keep them specifically any of the Malignant like the head or the hand because those are the parts that you would normally use to go to Varshan. So save those because that's how you acquire Malignant Rings in Diablo IV season 2.
Overall, all the D4 1.2.2 Malignant rings are super cool, though the Rogue one is a bit underwhelming. But Ring of the Red Furor is really good and it is a really good synergy with the strongest Barb build in the game.
