Today, we got a Dragonflight season 3 melee DPS Mythic+ tier list for 10.2. We’re going to give you an opinion on which specs are meta and which of them aren't meta.
Our Dragonfligh 10.2 DPS tier list is based on their total damage, how easy they are to play, and their total toolkit. The reason some of these specs might be ranked so high too is because of how well they complement the other meta specs in the game right now and just how valuable their utility is in certain dungeons if not all of the dungeons. No matter how the spec is performing after all this is a game, and you should enjoy it. Every one of these specs can do up to plus 22, plus 23, and plus 24 keys. But this is only going to really matter in the highest and the top 1% to play. For the people who love tier lists, love topping the damage meters or just carrying your team with the utility, this is the WoW Dragonflight 10.2 melee and ranged DPS tier list M+ for you!
Dragonflight 10.2 Melee DPS Tier List
S Tier
Enhancement Shaman: Enhancement's high sustained AoE damage along with strong utility in the form of purge, stun totem, and Windfury weapon buff making it invaluable.
Subtlety Rogue: Subtlety brings immense burst AoE and single target damage. Combined with stealth, Sap, and Shadowstep for skips, it is described as the premier Rogue spec for Mythic+.
Fury Warrior: Fury's damage is portrayed as among the highest of all specs. Advantages include mobility, survival cooldowns like Last Stand, and Buffs from Battle Shout and Ravager.
A Tier
Retribution Paladin: Very sturdy with strong defensive and off-healing capabilities. Damage may not be as high but Avenger's Shield and ultimate Lay on Hands make it a strong pick.
Outlaw Rogue: While damage isn't top-tier, Guns, grappling hook, and Combat Potency buff give valuable utility for skips and damage. Adrenaline Rush provides strong damage spikes.
Fury Druid: Rage generation allows for sustained high damage. In combination with Roots, Resto affinity off-healing, and ability to battle rez, it brings desired tools.
Arms Warrior: Damage may lag other specs slightly but interrupts, stuns, and buffs from Battle Shout still make it a reliable pick.
Windwalker Monk: Excellent utility from Leg Sweep stun, Ring of Peace, and Vector Summon. Healing Elixirs also provide strong off-healing and damage reduction.
Havoc Demon Hunter: Mobile, durable, and brings high group damage. Spectral Sight, Sigils, and meta usage grant potent utility. Chaos Blades allows strong cleave damage.
B Tier
Survival Hunter: Traps like Tar Trap, Binding Shot stun, and Aspect of the Turtle defensive ability provide strong crowd control and survivability. Damage may lag other options.
Frost Death Knight: Burst AoE from Pillar of Frost and Remorseless Winter. Strong defensives, grip/stun utility, and Brez make it reliable if damage isn't top-tier.
C Tier
Assassination Rogue: Poisons and bleeds don’t provide the most effective damage profile for high-end Mythic+. Limited utility compared to other Rogue specs.
Unholy Death Knight: Sustained rather than burst damage doesn’t pair well with high-speed Mythic+ timing. Damage reduction cooldowns don’t quite measure up to other tankier options.
Dragonflight 10.2 Ranged DPS Tier List
S Tier
Balance Druid: Extremely strong AOE and cleave from Starfall, Starsurge. Provides very useful off-healing and utility with Rejuvenation and Roots. Highly mobile which is important for dodging mechanics.
A Tier
Marksmanship Hunter: Excellent single target damage when priority damage is needed. Cleave from Multi-Shot and Piercing Shot still valuable. CC from Binding Shot and mobility from Disengage are assets.
B Tier
Affliction Warlock: Powerful damage-over-time effects ramp up group damage quickly. Dark Soul and Howl of Terror are strong raid buffs. Drain Life allows damage to continue while moving
Arcane Mage: Burst AOE from Arcane Explosion makes clearing packs very fast. Slow and Evocation provide utility and mana sustain. Damage can suffer from lack of cleave and weak mobility.
C Tier
Beast Mastery Hunter: Strong but lacks the utility of other specs. Pet micro-managing can be hindering.
Elemental Shaman: Damage is good but competing with Melee for room to spread effects.
D Tier
Shadow Priest: Low mobility, damage ramps slow. Few raidwide damage buffs for group.
Fire Mage: More suited to single target than dungeon cleave/AOE. Combustion aligning problematic.
