World of Warcraft Dragonflight patch 10.1 is coming soon with the balancing changes. Previously, the Dragonflight DPS Raid rankings are pretty good balance, from the top to the last one is a very small difference, to be honest. The Dragonflight 10.1 raid tier list for Raid is now a little bit different. So, what is the best Raid DPS in Dragonflight season 2?
WOW Dragonflight 10.1 Best Raid DPS - Dragonflight Season 2 Raid DPS Tier List & Ranking
Raid DPS refers to the amount of damage that a raid group can collectively deal to a boss or group of enemies in a raid encounter. Raid DPS is an important metric because it directly affects how quickly a raid can defeat a boss and progress through the raid. Today, we got you WOW Dragonflight 10.1 Season 2 Raid DPS tier list, we're going to rank the best raid DPS spec and class. S tier is going to be your great specs that are really really valuable for you to have. A tier is a really good one that you want. B tier is situationally good and the C tier is the more niche one. D tier is kind of unplayable. To be honest, there are no D tier specs since no specs are that bad.

Dragonflight Season 2 Raid DPS Ranking In Depth
A - Affliction Warlock
Affliction Warlock actually got some buffs in 10.0.7 and but they were nerfed down a bit now. Their single target is really really good out of all the Warlock specs and they also have the ability to spec into some spread cleave or some AOE cleave with the seed builds and stuff. They're very powerful but they're not like insanely busted broken to carry you through a second fight or anything. They have the Warlock ability of just being incredibly tanky, bringing gates hellstones and they're very powerful so they deserve an A tier on this Dragonflight season 2 Raid DPS tier list.
A - Arcane Mage
Arcane Mage’s burst profile is very valuable for a lot of the harder flights. It can burst down the ads on either side and burst down your shield, so that alone is very useful and very powerful. But there are limitations to it but just how good it is there is very strong. Also, you have the ability to swap to frost on fights where it's not as good. Overall Arcane is going to be an A tier.
B - Arms Warrior
Arms Warrior is really good at executing and is going to be very very powerful. But they are not going to do anything that crazy to warn them a little bit higher. You want your Warrior to be able to swap between Arms and Fury, Arms is more of the first AOE with its cooldowns and single target, execute niche which is very good at. But it doesn’t bring enough to A or S tier, especially with how good Pro Warrior is, Pro Warrior is still one of the best tanks in the entire game.
C - Assassination Rogue
Assassination Rogue at the start of this tier was a single target Powerhouse and it fell off a bit, so we're going to put it down to C tier. It's between B and C. But it's very powerful at single target and single target only. If you have anything outside a single target, it loses off. But even these days, Assassination isn't even the best single target spec in Dragonflight season 2. It's also just a little bit worse than the other two Rogue specs. However if you need that boss damage where you're not really disrupted by being moved away, Assassination is still very powerful.
A - Balance Druid
Balance Druid is just a really good progression and raiding spec. Starfall is really powerful in a lot of fights, they bring very good single targets, they bring a verse and they're very tanky. So all together Balance Druid is a very powerful well-rounded spec that deserves an A tier placement.
S - Beast Mastery Hunter
We're going to put up an S tier. Although they did get nerfed a bit they still do a crazy amount of single target damage and can also do really good um cleave with beast cleave. BM is one of the better-range DPS specs in the entire raid. They're very valuable boss damage on a lot of fights where you need it. They're fully mobile which makes them very good mechanic doers as well. Their boss damage is just absolutely through the roof so they deserve an S tier for this WOW Dragonflight raid DPS ranking 10.1.
A - Demonology Warlock
Demo is like the AOE counterpart to Affliction. Demo has that burst cleave with dogs with your demons and your armies. Demo is very powerful. Swap between Demo and Aff really builds a full complete playstyle for a Warlock. So having both available is very good and Demo is good in those fights where you need that burst cleave damage.
B - Destruction Warlock
Destro's strong still. We putting in B tier for this WOW Dragonflight 10.1 Raid DPS ranking does not mean it's bad. It has a little bit worse single target than Aff does and has a little bit worse AOE but it has a very good two-target cleave.
A - Devastation Evoker
Devastation Evoker is an A tier mainly because of the last two fights Raszageth. This is very good for those fights because it can carry the ads in those fights which is very good. Then in Raszageth, you really just need one or two Evokers and four times spiral for the win. The wins have been heavily nerfed so you don't absolutely need it. The damage profile is good, they can bring really good single-target damage as well as having really good AOE. Overall, they deserve this A tier placement in the Dragonflight 10.1 DPS tier list for Raid.
C - Elemental Shaman
We're going to put Elemental Shaman in C tier. Elemental Shaman can be good, the thing is that due to its talent tree, AOE, or single target, it's locked. You can't really do both at the same time. If they kind of spec more into one or the other. When you do expect more than one or the other, it's still not even that good compared to other classes that can just do both.
The lack of flexibility and lack of a really high peak puts it down in C.
A - Enhancement Shaman
Enhancement is A tier, though Enhancement has really good single target damage, can have really good burst AOE, and brings really the win fury totem which is very powerful. It's a loss for them to do it but it's still good overall for Enhancement Shaman to bring that. Enhancement Shaman is very powerful, probably the better of the two Shaman specs, and deserves an A-tier ranking.
B - Feral Druid
Feral Druid can have really good AOE and they do bring really solid single targets. They're very mobile, they're very survivable and they have good buffs with the verse. They're not the best which does throw them down in the B tier but they're just very tanky and very versatile.
C - Fire Mage
Fire Mage is a really good burst and that's about it. It's just worse than other Mage specs though it has a cheat death which is cool. Fire does need a little bit of work and a touch-up to be brought over some of the other Mage specs.
A - Frost Mage
Frost can put in A tier on this Dragonflight WOW 10.1 Raid DPS tier list due to its cleave. On a fight, you're not Arcane, you're playing Frost. Frost is really unique because it's one of the only classes still with that sustained damage. In that sustained damage, it's very powerful, it's also really good at cleaving.
A - Frost Death Knight
Frost DK has very good boss damage and very good overall clear cleave damage. But if something forces it out of that uptime then it gets a lot worse. Frost has very strong signal target damage, being able to ignore knockbacks is very useful especially when procking P1 Ras and then the pushback in P2 Ras and then the pushback in P3 Ras. So in Raszageth that can be very useful. But overall, they're sustained damage is very strong, their uptime is good, and the force out of that uptime they do drop off a lot which could be a reason to put them in B tier.
B - Fury Warrior
Fury Warrior is more the sustained slash consistent AOE cleave whenever it needs to spec. It has a good single target, it has a good ability every 45 seconds or so to do bursts with Odyn's Fury. It has the ability to really reliably hit multiple targets with Whirlwind and then the following like cleaving abilities whenever that happens. Whenever those things go on, it's very good. It's just not the best overall at doing single target ordering that kind of cleave profile, so it sets it down to the B tier.
S - Havoc Demon Hunter
Havoc Demon Hunter is one of the best Dragonflight 10.1 Raid DPS. Primarily because of their ability to do insanely strong burst cleave while not sacrificing much single-target damage. This is so useful in almost every single fight. Their boss damage is not the greatest but they can do some of the best cleave in the game without sacrificing any of that boss damage. They also have really good bursts, bring a great debuff, and bring darkness which is very useful. Not to mention, they're very survivable in raids and they also have really good damage profiles, so S tier it is.
B - Marksmanship Hunter
Marksman is good in fights where you need to burst AOE as a Hunter. But realistically, trading BM from Marksman does lead to like a reduction in your survivability because you can't bring forward through to the bear. It brings leads to a reduction in just kind of your overall single target boss damage which is really Hunter's niche. Marksmanship is good but it's outclassed at the things it does by other specs. If you're bringing Marksmanship, you're losing that damage that BM Hunter has, which can lead to a reduction.
B - Outlaw Rogue
We’re going to put Outlaw Rogue on B as well. Outlaw has that cleave where it can kind of hit one target and then hit all the targets at the same time. The reason why it’s B tier DPS in Dragonflight patch 10.1 is that Subtlety is the best Rogue spec right now. Outlaw is strong Outlaw is a good spec, it's very tanky, very survivable like all the Rogues are, and it has an extra range which is helpful. But Sub is generally going to be your slightly better option than Outlaw.
S - Retribution Paladin
Retribution Paladin goes up in the S tier for this Dragonflight season 2 DPS Raid tier list for 10.1. Retribution Paladin is by far one of the best specs in the game. They bring crazy strong single targets, they bring some of the best AOE periods point blank stops in the game whenever they're talented for it. They can do a good mix of both but they do have to sacrifice a little bit to go full one side or the other which is fine. Ret is just crazy right now, they're very survivable, they have three defensives, one of them is an immunity, they have tons of off healings, really good utility, and by far one of the best DPS specs in the Dragonflight season 2.
S - Shadow Priest
Shadow is also going to be up in S tier for the WOW Dragonflight season 2 DP2 Raid rankings. Shadow brings some of the strongest AOE which is very powerful in lots of fights in this tier. They bring Pi which is very good, they bring stamina buff which is again very good and they also bring really respectable single-target damage. They're a little bit lost in their mobility but overall Shadow is very powerful and you do want to have some of these in your raid.
A - Subtly Rogue
We're going to put Sub to A tier because it is probably the best Rogues spec right now. It brings a really good AOE, a really good funnel onto bosses which is very useful in certain scenarios. You can have a Rogue funneling into one of those big ads on Ras for instance. They bring really strong frequent bursts which is just generally a very valuable damage profile in this tier with all the ad waves. Sub is very strong!
C - Survival Hunter
We’re going to put Survival Hunter in the C tier. Survival is niche right now. It is really strong single target damage and it’s good at that but it's worse than BM because it's a little bit melee. On top of that, Survival has a negative connotation. We do want to put it a little bit higher potentially because of this single target. But outside of that, it doesn't really cleave very well. This one rising and a little bit undervalued.
B - Unholy Death Knight
Holy has some of the highest single-target bursts with lust in the game. However outside of that, they kind of just hit like a wet noodle. Unholy and Frost are both uh pretty good DK specs for different scenarios. If you need that three-minute burst, Unholy is very very strong. But if you're not consistent uptime damage, then Frost is really good. Because they kind of just hit like wet noodles outside of the Army and all their cooldowns, we're going to put them in B tier but they are really good.
A - Windwalker Monk
We'll put Windwalker Monk in A tier. It has lots of cleave, and lots of AOE which will help you a lot on Ras platforms, Daphnia ads Diana ads, and the three hardest bosses this year. For that, Windwalker Monk gets an A tier ranking. But the single target is not great but it is much better than where it's been in the past. They bring three raid buffs all of which are very strong. They bring really strong utility, they're very survivable, tanky, and mobile. So they have a lot of tools in their kit to deal with lots of things in the raid and they also do very good damage where you need them in that AOE capacity.
