WoW 10.1 M+ Tier List & Ranking - Best Tanks & DPS for Dragonflight Season 2 Mythic+

What classes and specs are planning on playing for the next season in Dragonflight? Centering around Mythic+ content, here we are going to present a tier list of WoW 10.1 M+(Mythic+) and recommended tanks and DPS for Dragonflight Season 2. 

WoW 10.1 M+ Tier List - Best Tanks for Dragonflight Season 2 Mythic+

With a quick prediction for World of Warcraft Dragonflight Season 2, Hosheezy Gaming’s tank tier list for WoW 10.1 M+ is gonna be this. Protection Paladin is going to get their off healing nerfed a little bit, but still a freaking beast. Brewmaster Monk and Vengeance DH are both solid tank specs for Mythic Plus and then Blood DK is a great PUG tank, Guardian Druid would do incredible damage. But the current ranking may be carried over to the next season as well. 

1. Protection Paladin (Prot Paladin) - S Tier 

Protection Paladins are insane in WoW Dragonflight, everybody is playing them and they are in a really good spot, they carry potential mass AOE silence, magical damage reduction, have a ton of utility, and your off healing is absolutely crazy. Protection Paladin is the best tank in the game, which is on a whole other level and we would see that carry over to Season 2. 

2. Protection Warrior (Prot Warrior) - S/A Tier 

Protection Warrior deserves A tier of its own at this moment, but they would be an S-tier tank in WoW 10.1 Patch, they are probably gonna nerf the off-healing gear for Prot Paladin, but Prot Warrior is great, you got a battle stance, and defensive stance, you got decent self-healing and survivability is absolutely crazy, your block chance is still wild, you also have spell block and spell reflection for magical damage dealing, you got a single target CC with storm bolt, there's just so much that you have, this still a fantastic tank. This is gonna carry over to Season 2, both of these tanks will shine again. 

3. Brewmaster Monk - A Tier

The next one Brewmaster Monk is in A tier, the only thing that separates them from the above two is not their damage and utility, but it’s their survivability. When it comes to the monk talents in World of Warcraft, Paralyze, Leg Sweep, and Ring of Peace, you have so much control over tanking mobs, this tank is really good, even with Prot Paladin and Prot Warrior being so great.  

4. Vengeance Demon Hunter (Vengeance DH) - A/B Tier

Vengeance Demon Hunter is a decent tank, actually, you can push all these tanks to plus 20 keys, even though it is not the same as Prot Paladin, you still have a lot of mobility, great magical damage reduction, a ton of survivability, mass silence, which is really helpful, you can do some crazy pulls with this tank. We are gonna see this spec raises up to an A tier in Dragonflight Season 2 with their tier set. 

5. Blood Death Knight (Blood DK) - B Tier

The Blood DK is similar to the Vengeance DH, you can switch their positions. Blood DK is a great beginner-friendly tank, there is a high scaling skill ceiling for them, if you are not sure what to do or do not know all the mechanics, this is a really good tank to use because you can self-heal, you usually have more healing than some healers. It also does pretty good damage, this is a great solo tank in the game, especially for PUGs.  

6. Guardian Druid - B/C Tier

Compared to other tanks, Guardian Druid may be not that good, with great utility and decent survivability, they are okay but except in terms of magical damage, they need some help here. But against physical damage, this is a freaking monster, it is insane and has so much fun. Keeping your armor up, you are so tanky against physical damage. You can have a couple of CC, but not the same level as Prot Paladin or Prot Warrior, or Brewmaster Monk. If they buff some magical damage, Guardian Druid will be in a better spot, which is in the same tier as Blood DK. 

WoW 10.1 M+ Best DPS - Best Class to Main in Dragonflight Season 2  

What is a good spec to main in the upcoming WoW Patch 10.1 & Season 2 M+? 

Shadow Priest is one of the top DPS options. It's a good spec, it's going to be valuable in groups, and it does bring a lot of group utility through the stamina, the Disc spells, Mass Dispel, Power Infusion, and AOE damage. In terms of the overall play style, Shadow Priest is really fun and engaging specifically in Mythic Plus. If you enjoy having a lot of things to do, having a lot of procs and interactions with your rotation, it's so hard to get bored of Shadow Priest, this is definitely a spec for you, it might take a little bit to get used to, but it's not particularly complicated spec, it is a lot of fun and it does have a lot of interaction and you do have a bunch of fun stuff, for example, you can group people to you and save them from danger or use Mind Soothe to essentially make mobs skippable. 

Another DPS spec that is going to be in the top tier for 10.1 Mythic+ is Survival Hunter, it got its first real talent changes since the launch of Dragonflight. Survival Hunter is a melee DPS spec, it has a great performance based on the testing in PTR and seems greatly improved. BM would be like a beast and but Survival is gonna outperform it if it stays like that in PTR. Other recommendations for M+ would have Havoc Demon Hunter, Demonology Warlock, Retribution Paladin, etc.
