New World July update will happen on July 28th at 5 am. The first thing that you will want to do when you log in is take part in the New World Medleyfaire event. The Summer Medleyfaire event is basically the summer version of the Christmas event but they have made some fun and interesting changes to it and use it as a great intro to the new musician trade skill. The New World Summer Medleyfaire event is music and fishing themed and will allow you to net some amazing new rewards. In the form of house decor, skins mounted fish trophies even a trophy that allows you to get 10% more fishing experience. There are blueprints from this event that also allow you to craft 600 gear score gear guaranteed without even having the required trade skill to make 600 gear score gear. This New World Summer Medleyfaire update is pretty exciting!

How To Participate in New World Summer Medleyfaire Event

Just like the Christmas event, you will begin your journey by setting out to one of the four event villages found in Brightwood, Everfall, Weaver’s Fen, and Monarchs Bluffs. From here, the maestro will send you out on a quest chain that you will want to complete. In order to unlock an event-exclusive song for your new trade skill, you will find adornments in each settlement which you will click daily for a present and reputation. So don't forget that as well. Your best and fastest way to gain a reputation with the maestro though will be by dancing once per day in each of the event villages.

New World Summer Medleyfaire Rewards

Begin your journey to complete this event, you will first want to visit each grand bestowment. These can be found in each village in each territory. These are mounds of gifts in the center of each town where you will interact with it and receive one of three different gifts containing various rewards associated with the event, event tokens, New World coins, and potential patterns for event theme gear. Interacting with these will also award you with event reputation, so don't forget each day to do this. The diamond gypsum has also been moved to these while the event is active.

New World Summer Medleyfaire Tokens

The primary currency that we will be collecting to purchase things during this event will be the Medleyfaire tokens. You get these tokens in a few different ways

- First from the daily dismal bestowments. These tokens exactly like the Christmas ones can be turned in and exchanged at the vendors located in the trailers at any of the Medleyfaire Towns. 25 regular tokens for 1 grader token and vice versa. This time however you will have to exchange 25 tokens plus some azoth to make each premium token.

- There are other farmable ways to get these New World Summer Medleyfaire event tokens. You can exchange 50 modeling dust for a token. This dust is left behind when you complete a model and bug swarm. These swarms spawn around the map. When you approach one, you will get a notification on your screen to begin the event. You will then play music and the better you play, the higher the score you will receive. Upon completion, you will receive an event reputation. Event bait is used to catch special fish for the event and this model and dust. The amount of these you will receive will depend on how well you played. Then when the swarm is completely depleted, it will disperse leaving behind gatherable dust on the ground much like the meteors during the Christmas event. This is where you will gather this dust which will also give you additional reputation per gather. 

- The next way you can create these tokens is with the eternum sturgeon fillets. you can exchange 10 fillets per token you will get these fillets from fishing during the festival. Finally from the eternam sturgeon scales turning in three of these will give you one Medleyfaire token. These also are collected from fishing.

New World Summer Medleyfaire Event Quests

Fishing during the Medleyfaire, you will be very early in the event quest chain. Receive a quest to fish up 3 eternum sturgeon. This will be right after you are sent out to disperse a swarm of modern bugs from which you will receive the special bait required to do so. Once you have this bait you can continue to visit swarms around the map and farm until you have the desired amount. You can attach it and cast it into any open water and fish for the event fish. You will notice when you attach this bait, it will give you the freshwater or saltwater option. While fishing with this bait, you will also catch items like pristine soaked wood, assorted seagrass, and stuffing. At first, these will seem like junk but they are not. What you will do with these is take them to the building in the Medleyfaire villages and interact with them.

You can craft three different displays using it, great, glorious, and magnificent. These stands you can then use to mount fish as decorations for your home but in unique ways. On to the more important aspect of the tokens, what you will do is fish for a turn of sturgeons. Once you obtain them, you will salvage them and receive fillets and enchants at scales and a very rare chance at an item you can toss into the pirate receive a greater token. These are the items we had just spoken about converting into tokens that can be used in the event shop. 

New World Summer Medleyfaire Event Shops & Items

The shop contains tons of amazing items that you will want to collect. These items range from food decor for your home skins and patterns, you can also purchase the items required for making the fish trophies. Do waste your tokens on these as you can easily gather them from fishing. Once you reach the max reputation, you will have also unlocked a set of patterns that are very unique. In that, they are guaranteed to roll gear score 600 random stats. But another great way to max that expertise and potentially make some amazing gear with these unique skins. So you are going to want to be on top of all the methods of stockpiling these tokens as the event unfolds. In order to be sure to get everything, you are wanting from this vendor before he is gone.

How To Get Reputations In New World Summer Medleyfaire Update

Get the reputation to unlock all these amazing prizes. Doing all of the things we have mentioned already provides small amounts of reputation, but there are a couple of ways to get huge reputation jumps each day every few hours.

Dancing

Each Medleyfaire village has a dance floor in front of the musicians playing. When you interact with it, it will give you the option to use one of your available dance emotes. Then you dance until the meter completes and you will receive 250 reputations. You can do this every 11 hours at each camp. Meaning 1 000 reputations twice a day. 

Quest Chain

This is fairly straightforward, leading you around the map repairing things for NPCs clearing modeling swarms fishing. Rewarding you with Medleyfaire chess containing items loot and more things associated with the event. You will also receive a massive reputation for completing these quests, so it is always your best option. Finally, when you have completed the quest chain, you will be rewarded with a special exclusive song set for your musician profession. You can't obtain it outside of this event. So be sure to complete this quest to not miss out on this song before it's gone.
