With the New World May update, new changes, weapons, movement, combat, and the 3v3 Arenas themselves can add a lot of fun to the game. If you're not strictly a PvP player, there are brand new mutations with the depths coming into the rotation as well as the three different mutated variables being added. So there is something for everybody and this is going to mainly focus on the PvP aspect with the 3v3 Arenas. Huge changes coming our way to both arenas and the PvP reward track in New World. Are there good tips to prepare yourselves for the upcoming 3v3 PvP Arenas in New World? These arenas will be dropping with the New World May update which gives you a good probably two to three weeks at a minimum to get yourself prepared.

What Is 3v3 PvP Arenas In New World

3 players versus 3 players in a small arena. If you take the priest's arena out of the depths, it’s essential that but a little bit expanded with 2 giant pillars in which one team spawns at one end, and the other team spawns at the other. They kind of have a pillar close to either spawn the initial start to the match. Usually consists of trying to either get your way across. If you're a melee or get some initial potshots off as a ranged player. If you're a healer, you're probably going to be dancing around these pillars for the majority of the game. 

There is a ring of fire that gradually moves in, once you get to about the one-minute mark, you start to see it appear, and then it closes in and in and in until the end of the two minutes is up. So it will never last longer than a two-minute round. It does make this quite fast-paced. It's the best of five so it's the first team to win three rounds. It’s all about team play and strategy.

New World 3v3 Arena Reward Track System

We do have the brand new PVP track available once this update drops which can give us some PVP-specific perk items, which you can only get from that track at the moment. There isn't a way to get craft mods for them. But some of the ability perks are going to be something that you want to focus on getting on your set. Because obviously in that 3v3 environment, gear does really matter obviously. Gear score plays a good factor in and of itself. But mainly you're looking at things that can enhance your abilities if you've got around the 600 mark 265 somewhere in that region, then really if you've got the perks, even if you're losing out on a bit of gear score, get your hands on whether it's through crafting or through buying these or through obviously drops as well. These are going to be really important and they make a super big difference in the PVP arenas. 

There are the brand new PVP perks only from the reward track, so you may want to wait until you get one of those drops. Then upgrade it and use that piece instead which is completely fine if you do want to do that. Outpost rush can drop you some nice PVP-related perk gear however it is very rare that you do get a legendary with that so it's kind of up to you if you want to spend the time doing it. But it can give you some nice stuff as well if you want PVP-specific gear rather than just general drops from the expeditions.

New World 3v3 Arena PVP Rewards

The PvP reward track contains PvP-specific rewards for doing PvP activities in the game. The track can be completed and run again to get a different selection of rewards, with more prestigious rewards becoming available as more tracks are completed.

1. PvP XP

Progress your track by engaging in PvP Missions, War, Outpost Rush, Capturing Forts, Defeating other players, 3x3 Arenas, and earning XP while flagged.

2. Azoth Salt

Azoth Salt is the currency that gets you rewards from the PvP Track, you can gain Azoth Salt by engaging in War, Outpost Rush, 3v3 Arenas, PvP Missions, PvP open-world kills, and earning XP while flagged.

3. Rewards

Choose between unique rewards such as prestige armor and weapons, emotes, currencies and consumables.

• Recruit

• Steel

• Bronze

• Sliver

• Gold

• Platinum

• Starmetal

With each track rotation, your PvP rank will rise by one, and hitting rank milestones will see more exclusive reward content unlocked, as well as granting you achievements and titles. You get 250 rank points just for playing a match, even if you lose, you get 500 for winning. So you're going to be able to progress faster if you're playing with a team that is winning. You can queue by yourself, you can queue with a team, you can queue with three players.

How To Play 3v3 PvP Arenas In New World

Certain roles are going to play slightly different ways in 3v3 Arenas New World. So you're going to have people who are tanking the hits and dropping cc, you're going to have someone who's purely DPS. Ultimately if you're going to go with a full pre-made, you're probably going to have someone that is healing because it's very powerful. That being said they are very squishy, still heavy armor, you get a minus 30 reduction to healing. So you are still sitting around that medium or most players are in that light armor which does give you a chance to get the dodge roll. Particularly for the first minute whilst the ring isn't closing in, this is really good so you do get a lot of chance to maneuver as a healer. 

It's just going to be more about dodging your tanks, your bruiser style of player where they're going in for the cc hitting, hard-hitting first which is really really good it is necessary for most teams. The third role is usually filled by a light or medium DPS light seems to be the preferred choice at the moment for the row. Because it does cover a big amount of distance. With the changes to the way that stamina regen works, you're generally getting off two rows and then you've got to wait for it to go, but you do get exhausted a lot easier. So some people are moving slightly more towards the medium as you can do a double medium dodge and still have a little bit of stamina. So the exhaustion isn't applied which is super useful. There are plenty of different option combinations in the arenas for pumping out a tremendous amount of damage.
