Best Locations To Farm Gear Score Watermark in New World

Now the highlight of this rotation is actually a location where you can get a blessed void gauntlet guaranteed and a blessed lifestyle from one boss, so you could just sit there and farm that boss, you could do the rotation that we are going to give you, also you could go to any of these other spots and they're going to be a great starting location to get your watermark up and start to grind in the endgame for New World. So we give you a couple of easy locations for grinding your watermark, one of which is great for healers and then two other pretty common ones but they're important to mention and we will give you the reasons why. 

These locations will help you to get a great start and end game and get some really solid gear score upgrades but doing it solo, and you also could do these with a group to make it much easier, but these will make sure that on any server no matter what your population is that you can sit there and grind your watermark alone.

Top 3 - Lonely Climb (Shattered Mountain)

Our first spot is going to take us to shattered mountains - you're going to need to go to the mountain home outpost, and enter the lonely climb, and farm two ancient skeleton bosses. This is the healer focus spot, where you're going to get some of that healer gear, the void gauntlet that has been added into the loot table on the first boss that gives you blessed on it guaranteed, and then that same boss also drops a life staff that gives you mana back and blessed. So if you're a healer looking for those two gears and you're looking to get your healing set started, we would really suggest going there. Something else is each of these bosses will drop decent watermarks, but you'll also get legendary crafting components such as an ice crystal core, musket, shield drop. So to keep this loop going after you kill down, you're going to go up the stairs behind him, you'll follow the path pretty much straight and take your first left either go left or right, go left and keep following the path straight and then you'll get another fork later on that's in a little bit of a cave and you can either go left to get the first chest or you can go right and go straight to the boss. Just keep that loop continuing, you'll cycle between darshan and the other skeleton boss, just over and over again, getting whatever loot that you can. And it's a great way to get a starter watermark going, this would be a pretty good one to also run in a group. Just to better your chances of getting more watermarks, make sure you're killing the mobs along the way between each boss in each rotation and picking up the chests.

Top 2 Spot - Edengrove (North of Aeternum)

Edengrove is a really easy boss farm, there are two chests you can get. The boss is only on a two-minute respawn and is very easy to kill. Since he's on such a low respawn time it's a great spot to solo watermark, but it's also a great spot if you really want to grind out legendary crafting components for certain weapons and make some New World gold or use them yourself. It's a fairly easy location to get to you just have to climb up some rocks and to a little temple and then you just sit there in the back and he won't aggro you and you can sit there and farm them over and over and over again, it's a great starting location for solo players.

Top 3 Spot - Spryla Tower (Shattered Mountain)

Our final location is also going to take us to shatter mountains in the blighted wild, specifically spryla tower. Although this boss is a 64 elite, he is still very easy to kill, you'll just pull him over to the tower, line of sight him so that he runs over to you if you have to, and you should make pretty quick work of him. 

This location is especially good as your watermark gets higher because he has a 64 elite, while he does have a longer spawn timer that means his potential to kind of drop a more average higher watermarked piece of gear is higher as well. Then in your downtime what you could do is just run around killing whatever else is in the zone, there are some chests to open up and you should get a pretty solid source of watermark increases from this boss. This is a really good spot to get consistently higher watermarks while solo farming, it'll also be good for legendary materials just like the last two and those chests give you chances at trophies things.

Once you've gotten your watermark to a higher level though we have a lot more options that kind of open up something else you can do is just group watermark to get it up, you could start going to each elite zone doing a world tour of all the chests, starting with the first 60 elite areas in shattered mountains, and then going through going to all the high-level elite zones in the game.
