In this patch, melee DPS specs have gained a slight edge over ranged, especially in higher keys where survivability and burst damage are paramount. Tanks like Blood Death Knights and Protection Warriors continue to dominate thanks to their strong defensive and utility toolkits. WoW TWW 11.0.5 M+ DPS Tier List
Here we've sorted out the War Within 11.0.5 Mythic+ DPS rankings, based on data from the highest keys being run right now. We are looking at who’s topping the charts, who’s pushing the highest keys (up to +17s, as of recording), and who’s struggling to keep up.
Right off the bat, Frost Death Knight is dominating the scene. It’s currently in every high key group, pushing +17s, which makes it a clear S-tier contender. Frost DKs bring consistent damage across the board. They might not have the highest raw DPS, but they’re reliable with great utility—making them a top pick for Mythic+ content.
Enhancement Shaman is another star this season. It’s performing incredibly well, often paired with Frost DKs in high-key groups. While slightly squishier than DKs, Enhancement makes up for it with insane damage output and utility, providing key group aids like poison and curse dispels.
It’s no surprise that Augmentation Evoker is also at the top. While its raw damage is decent, Augmentation’s true value is its ability to support the group. It provides incredible survivability boosts to both tanks and DPS, making it a must-have for top-tier groups. Honestly, it feels a bit broken in its current form, but until significant changes are made, it’s here to stay.
Assassination Rogue has been a pleasant surprise this season. It’s pushing higher keys than ever before, thanks to its solid AOE damage and consistent single-target output. It’s currently the best Rogue spec in Mythic+ and a strong A-tier pick.
Frost Mage is another great performer. It’s not quite S-tier, but it’s one of the best caster options available. Frost Mages bring solid damage across the board, both AOE and single-target, making them a reliable choice for any group.
Affliction Warlock has seen some ups and downs but remains a strong A-tier pick. Its DOT-based damage profile excels in sustained fights, and it brings solid utility with curses and health stones for the group.
Arcane Mage is a bit of a sleeper hit. It has strong burst potential and can pump impressive damage if played well. While it lacks some of the utility of Frost, it’s still a solid choice for Mythic+.
Unholy Death Knight is just a couple of key levels behind its Frost counterpart, but still a strong pick. Unholy excels in large AOE pulls but struggles a bit in smaller encounters. It’s currently pushing +15s and just shy of Frost’s dominance.
Windwalker Monk has had a bit of a resurgence. It’s comfortably sitting in the middle of B tier, performing well in +15s. Windwalkers have always been hit or miss, but right now, they’re solid, though not quite top-tier.
Havoc Demon Hunter is struggling to break into +16s right now, but it’s still a solid spec for +14s and +15s. It hasn’t received significant buffs lately, so it’s lagging slightly behind other B-tier specs like Unholy DK and Windwalker, but it’s far from the worst.
Balance Druid is another B-tier spec that’s doing well but hasn’t quite broken into A-tier territory. While it’s pushing +16s, it’s not as consistent as some of the top players. There’s one standout Balance Druid pushing higher keys, but overall, the spec needs more players performing at that level to move up.
Retribution Paladin remains one of the most popular specs in the game, but that popularity doesn’t necessarily translate to top-tier performance. It’s doing well in +15s but struggles to keep up with the very top specs. Nevertheless, it’s a solid, fun spec to play.
Outlaw Rogue has had some issues with bugs and tuning, which has kept it from reaching its full potential. Despite this, it’s performing well in +15s, though not quite on par with Assassination.
Fury Warrior is performing well after recent buffs, sitting in the middle of B-tier. Its damage is solid in +15s, and while not as dominant as Frost DK or Enhancement, it’s a reliable melee DPS choice.
Destruction Warlock is currently the best-performing Warlock spec in Mythic+. It has strong AOE and single-target damage, making it a solid pick for +14s and +15s. However, recent nerfs have toned down its overall power, keeping it from climbing higher.
Elemental Shaman was doing well in high keys before getting hit with some significant nerfs. It’s still a good option for +14s, but it’s not the powerhouse it once was. The spec needs more tuning to remain competitive in the current meta.
Feral Druid has received some buffs, but they haven’t moved the needle much. It’s decent in +13 and +14 keys but lacks the consistency and utility of higher-tier specs. Its damage is fine, but it’s not enough to push into B-tier.
Survival Hunter is currently performing better than Marksmanship, but it’s still struggling to break into higher keys. It’s near the top of C-tier, performing decently in +13s and +14s, but it lacks the widespread success needed to move up.
Marksmanship Hunter is slightly better than Beast Mastery, but it’s still far from being a top-tier spec. It’s mostly performing in +13s and +14s, and while it has good burst damage, it lacks the sustained output needed for higher keys.
Fire Mage has fallen from grace. It can still pump good AOE damage, but its single-target performance is abysmal compared to other specs. This makes it hard to justify in higher keys, relegating it to C-tier.
Shadow Priest is underperforming in Mythic+ content. It doesn’t bring much that Discipline Priest can’t already provide, and its damage is lackluster compared to other specs. It’s currently near the bottom of C-tier.
Demonology Warlock is struggling in Mythic+ content. While it has decent damage, it’s not enough to push it beyond +13s. It’s the lowest-performing Warlock spec right now, and it needs significant tuning to compete with other caster DPS.
Subtlety Rogue is in a rough spot. Despite receiving a 30% buff to Black Powder, it’s still performing poorly in Mythic+. It’s currently one of the worst specs in the game for high-key performance, falling far behind its Rogue counterparts.
Arms Warrior is another spec that’s struggling. Despite recent buffs, it’s still at the bottom of the charts. While it’s slightly better than Subtlety, it’s not enough to make it a viable choice for high keys.
Beast Mastery Hunter is sitting at the bottom of the Hunter specs. It’s managing +11s and +12s, but it’s far behind the other ranged specs. The recent buffs didn’t do much to improve its performance.
Devastation Evoker had high hopes at the start of the season but has fallen off dramatically. It’s one of the lowest-performing specs in Mythic+ right now. Most Evokers have switched to Augmentation, leaving Devastation in the dust.

Resto Shamans continue to dominate with their incredible utility, including poison cleansing totem and group healing. Bloodlust, strong healing throughput, and the ability to provide 20% HP buffs make them invaluable in high-end content.
Discipline Priests offer the highest DPS among healers while also providing strong AOE healing through Atonement. Their mitigation tools, such as Pain Suppression and Power Word: Barrier, make them a top pick.
Preservation Evokers offer great mobility and strong healing throughput. However, their utility overlaps with Augmentation Evokers, which limits their desirability in some setups.
After recent buffs, Resto Druids are performing better, especially in high keys where Mark of the Wild and battle res are highly valued. Their versatility in both healing and damage makes them a great all-around choice.
Holy Paladins bring strong utility and decent damage, but their performance is slightly behind the top-tier picks. They shine in keys where spot healing and defensive cooldowns are necessary.
Mistweavers have seen improvements, but their damage output still lags behind other healers. Their AoE healing is strong, but they lack the utility and damage to push them into the upper tiers.
Holy Priests are currently the weakest healers in Mythic+. While they have good throughput, their lack of utility and weak damage make them less desirable in high keys.
WoW TWW 11.0.5 M+ Tank Tier List

DKs remain the top tank choice due to their self-sustain, utility (combat res), and crowd control. Their ability to handle large pulls through Death Strike and vampiric blood is unmatched.
Protection Warriors excel with high mobility, strong damage mitigation through block mechanics, and powerful offensive cooldowns. They are highly sought after for their group-wide benefits like Battle Shout.
Guardian Druids continue to be a strong tank option with high health pools and self-healing capabilities. Their mobility and Mark of the Wild buff also add significant value to any group.
Vengeance DHs offer excellent mobility and burst AoE damage, making them ideal for dungeons with large pulls. Their Sigils provide valuable crowd control, but they require careful management of their defensive cooldowns.
Brewmasters have seen better days but still stand as a viable option with their stagger mechanic. Their mobility and utility are strong, but they struggle with large incoming damage spikes.
While they offer great utility and self-healing, Protection Paladins are currently one of the weaker tank options. Their durability is lacking compared to other tanks, and they require more constant attention from healers.
