How to Do White Mask Varre Questline Offline in Elden Ring

Can Varre’s quest be completed offline? Yes, for players who can’t go online in Elden Ring, the White Mask Varré questline can be done entirely offline, which involves invading a specific NPC, without needing to invade other players. Below are the steps for progressing Varre's quest. 

1. Begin your journey by seeking out White Mask Varre at The First Step Site of Grace in Limgrave. Engage him in conversation to start the task. However, if you find that Varre has already departed from this location, don't be disheartened – simply proceed to the next step in your quest.

2. Your path now leads you to the Stormveil Castle, where two fearsome adversaries await. Only by vanquishing both Margit, the Fell Omen, and Godrick the Grafted can you progress further in Varre's questline.

3. With victory over Margit and Godrick secured, make your way to the tranquil sanctuary known as the Roundtable Hold. Here, at the Table of Lost Grace, speak with two fingers.

4. Your quest now takes you to the Liurnia of the Lakes. Navigate to the Site of Grace: Academy Gate Town, and from there, make your way to the Rose Church. It is here that you will once again encounter White Mask Varre. Engage him in dialogue to uncover the next steps.

5. Then make your way to the Bridge of Iniquity Site of Grace in Mt. Gelmir, and from there, venture forth to the Writhblood Ruins and invade the Magnus the Beast Claw. The enemy can be found in the northeastern part of Writheblood Ruins in the Altus Plateau. You'll need to go to the broken bridge in the Altus Plateau and look for a Site of Grace near the bridge, find a portal next to it, and teleport, head towards the location where you see a carriage being pulled by giants. Look for nearby ruins, you'll find a red summon sign, activate this summon sign to invade the NPC.

6. Talk to Varre at Rose Church found in Liurnia of the Lakes to get the Lord of Blood's Favor.

7. Your path now goes through Liurnia of the Lakes, this time set your sights on the Church of Inhibition in Site of Grace: Grand Lift of Dectus to find the maiden.

8. For the final act, return to the Rose Church where White Mask Varre awaits, and offer him your finger. Speak to him again, you can receive a Pureblood Knight’s Medal.
