No.5 Cleanrot Knight Finlay
While his attacks may be mediocre, he can afflict the enemy with Scarlet Rot and do almost half of the Messmer's health bar when you account for the Scarlet Rot. Worst case scenario versus a lot of bosses, you can just Scarlet Rot them and run around. He also has super nice health, so he can actually withstand a lot of the boss attacks without just dying instantly which is honestly one of the biggest issues in the DLC with Spirit Summons. Overall, you're going to find the Spirit Summon useful in most situations.
How To Get?
You obtain this ash in the Miqullas Haligtree which is a reason why it drops down towards the bottom of the Elden Ring 1.13 Spirit Ash Summons tier list. Because if you can't get him till super late, he's not really going to be all that great for your first playthrough. He's more of a new game plus summons. Nonetheless, he is extremely solid.
No.4 Taylew the Golem Smith
Taylew the Golem Smith is a DLC summon and this one might seem a little weird but he has an astronomical health pool in really nice range attacks. If you keep the boss on you, Taylew will mow them down. Once you start fighting with him, he becomes more effective when the boss isn't just Perma forcing him. The fact his health pool is so big makes him a valuable asset because Spirit Summons do die very quickly in the DLC.
How To Get?
In order to get him, you will need to get the DLC but you can get him early in the DLC. All you need to do is go to Taylew's Ruined Forge, operate the lever platform, jump left at the top, go up the stairs, get the items from the furnace, then search around the immediate area for Taylew the Golem Smith to find and recruit him.
No.3 Black Knife Tiche
Black Knife Tiche is incredibly strong and one of the best Elden Ring 1.13 spirit ashes still. Its special attack puts a massive dot that removes 10% of a boss's health which is really why it's op. Some people think this is the best spirit summon in the game but the truth is not. Because it relies on him hitting a special attack in order for him to be useful. On top of, that you can't get him until you complete the majority of Ranni's quest line, so you won't be able to get him until a bit later in the game. How To Get?
You have to do Ranni's quest line to the point where you get to that special little spot over in Liurnia of the Lakes you normally cannot get to and he's going to be in a jail over there.

You will absolutely love this best summon in Elden Ring after 1.13 patch. He doesn't do status effect damage which is bad but he has a super high health pool, and a very aggressive attack kit causing him to get aggro of the boss easier than a lot of spirit summons. He also does quite a lot of damage especially when you fight alongside him because he has a rapid-fire attack that does a crazy amount of damage whenever he does it. Another reason is that you can get it so early in the DLC. It's very friendly for people doing their first playthroughs of the DLC. It's extremely tanky so it will help you at the very least, just tank the boss. So you can learn move sets, make it easier, everything's not so oppressive because he actually has a move set that'll keep the boss on him. Therefore, this spirit ash is going to be incredible for newer players in the DLC.
How To Get?
To obtain Divine Bird Warrior Ornis, start at the Temple Town Ruins Site of Grace in Caelid. Head north past the purple stones and Kindreds of Rot, going uphill. Activate the spirit there and use it to jump up onto higher ruins. Make your way along the narrow ledge on the right side, jumping across gaps as you go uphill. Continue uphill until you reach a building, inside of which is a treasure chest containing Divine Bird Warrior Ornis. Opening this chest will allow you to acquire Ornis as a summonable Spirit Ash ally.
No.1 Mimic Tear
Everyone is tired of Mimic Tear being the best summon but it is still the best spirit ash summon in Elden Ring even after the patch 1.13. The fact that it can copy your build just makes it insane. Put Beast Claws build on him and he almost soloed the Messmer like no other Spirit Ash came even close to these results. The only downside to the Mimic Tear is that it's only as good as your build is but if you just follow or copy any good build online, this thing will be an absolute beast since it copies you it gets more health when it comes to their Spirit Summons. It gets more negations than other Spirit Summons, it's just so much better. Especially, once you get into new game plus three, Mimic Tear is really the only Spirit Ash that actually does anything for you!
