In Elden Ring, crystal tears grant different temporary buffs when mixed into the Flask, such as restoring HP, FP, boosting attributes, enhancing damage of certain attacks, and more. There are over 30 known Elden Ring tears located throughout the Lands Between that can be found, looted from enemies, or obtained as quest rewards. In the Elden Ring expansion Shadow of the Erdtree, 8 new crystal tears were added that can now be obtained by defeating Furnace Golems found in the new areas. Next, let's check the Elden Ring DLC tears ranking! If you want to buy cheap Elden Ring runes for DLC, AOEAH sells legit runes at a low price!

S Tier

Deflecting Hardtear

  • Location: Gravesite Plain

Deflecting Hardtear enhances spontaneous guard in your mixed Physick. You just get high damage negation and guard poise right after assuming your guard stance. Also, guard counters which you follow up with a heavy attack after blocking will be enhanced as well. It's pretty good if you are using a shield and we do recommend having this Elden Ring DLC best tear since hiding behind the shield is really helpful.

Cerulean-Sapping Cracked Tear

  • Location: Scadu Atlas

Cerulean-Sapping Cracked Tear results in a temporary buff that restores FP upon landing attacks. This is one of the best Elden Ring DLC tears especially when progressing through an area or doing a boss fight. If you run a small amount of FP flask, this could be absolutely clutch. Allowing you to spam your Ash of War while also restoring FP by attacking and using it, getting off more Ashes of War throughout the fight.

Crimson-Sapping Cracked Tear

  • Location: Rauh Ancient Ruins

While the buff lasts, you get health back every time you land an attack. It's literally a life steal and this is going to be incredible for killing bosses for the first time or passing through an area that's dangerous and relying on this heal instead of having to use your flask.

A Tier

Crimsonburst Dried Tear

  • Location: Scadu Atlas

Crimsonburst Dried Tear can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick. Gradually restoring the health of one's allies over time but has no effect on the imbiber. This is going to be pretty good in co-op playthroughs. By having a heal for your ally who's just taking a hit while you're safe.

Glovewort Crystal Tear

  • Location: Charo's Hidden Grave

Glovewort Crystal Tear can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick. Essentially buffs the attack power of summon spirits for a period. If you are heavily relying on summoning, this is the best Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree tears.

Oil-Soaked Tear

  • Location: Ruins of Unte

Oil-Soaked Tear can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick while the buff's going. The resulting concoction temporarily causes the imbiber will break out in an oily sweat, soaking nearby enemies in oil. Obviously, oil soaked enemies are much more vulnerable to fire damage. If you're running a fire build, you can enhance the burst of your fire damage greatly. With the new Messmer-style incants that are all fire-related, this could be one of the best Elden Ring DLC tears.

B Tier

Viridian Hidden Tier

  • Location: Charo's Hidden Grave

Viridian Hidden Tier gives you infinite stamina for a period after you use it, can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick. The resulting concoction eliminates all stamina consumption. However, this effect is only brief and will quickly expire. Compared to the one that gives you infinite FP for a period after you use it, this is for a burst build where you want to do as many attacks and successive hits as possible. There are quite a few meta builds around that so this could be very good!

Bloodsucking Craked Tear

  • Location: Ruins of Unte

Bloodsucking Craked Tear can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick. During the buff, you will have increased attack power just flat out, but your health will slowly drain over time. This is a speed runner's Wonderous Physick of choice and could be incredible if you have some self-healing in the build. If this Shadow of the Erdtree tear is worth the drain, we'll have to test it out, but it has high potential.
