As Path of Exile Affliction League wraps up for most of us, AOEAH is beginning to shift focus towards the next League: Necropolis. March 29 is probably the launch day for 3.24 or possibly even later if the league gets delayed further. To get prepared for the new league first hand, you need to know the best Path of Exile 3.24 starter builds. Read our PoE 3.24 Necropolis build guide, we’re introducing you top 4 best league starters!
The first best PoE league starter 3.24 is a Righteous Fire/Bodyswap Chieftain. This setup scales damage from maximum life making it quite comfortable in early progression. The second best 3.24 build for PoE is a Crit CoC Cyclone Assassin that uses a sleeper transfigured gem, Blade Blast of Dagger Detonation that can do all non-Uber content with no problem. The last Path of Exile Necropolis league build 3.24 does have the potential to go in one of two ways. You can either go a more tanky route where you're able to get a good amount of damage probably 50-60 million at most if you want to stay relatively tanky. Or you can go the absolute complete opposite way and get hundreds of millions of damage and essentially have no life pool. Next, we're going to talk about the best Necropolis league starter builds in PoE 3.24
Both of those abilities had significant changes in 3.23, Righteous Fire had the biggest change with the flat base damage going away entirely in favor of increased scaling based purely on maximum life and energy shield. Whilst body swap had the smaller but still very significant change with the quality stat now providing more of the damage from maximum life stat that pre-exists on the gem. This is 4% of your maximum life as base fire damage with 20% quality now adding an extra 4% on top for a total of 8% of maximum life as base fire damage. This can be scaled further with things like the ashes of the stars or the enhanced support gem. The idea for this synergy is that you're able to scale damage entirely from maximum life instead of the more typical gem-level scaling. This combo would be one of the best builds in Path of Exile 3.24 as a League starter that gets a bunch of damage scaling,
Ascendency
Why are the Chiefs in ascendency? That's all about the Ramako notable in this setup because we're going to be using body swap to ignite and RF already deals a bunch of fire damage over time. Whilst you're blinking around with body swap, your character is considered to be stationary. Not only the fixed minus 20% of fire resistance on nearby enemies is going to have a really good up time, but also this build gets the best out of Chieftain. In this setup we'll have a very high generic ignite chance couple that with the fire mastery for increased damage against an ignited target and those pops do hit very hard.

3.23 Affliction brought a ton of new transfigure gems into the scene and not all of them were created equal. Blade blast of dagger detonation is one of those gems that can redefine the meta in Path of Exile patch 3.24. Blade blast of dagger detonation provides a base amount of physical damage and then gives you added physical damage based on how much flat damage your dagger has. Most importantly you don't need blades on the ground from something like ethereal knives or blade vortex to do your damage. The skill does damage on its own, it just takes damage from your dagger.
This CoF Assassin is one of the best PoE 3.24 league starter builds and can easily deal thousands of damage without gem-level scaling. However, gem level scaling also benefits this by giving you even more flat damage from your dagger. The line we concerned with is deals added damage equal to 600% of the equipped daggers. That means if your equipped dagger has 300 flat damage on it not including attack speed modifiers, you will get an additional 1,800 flat physical damage pushing this over 2,000 flat physical. Making it one of the strongest physical spell gems in the game!

Fire trap of blasting is pretty criminally underrated right now. However, this isn't without reason. Initially, when the skill was first revealed, there were some problems with the AoE. However, blasting is a pretty massively powered skill with some of the highest built-in damage to a single ability that you have ever seen! The effectiveness of added damage on this ability it is 260% and that added fire damage against burning enemies is affected by that. On top of that fire trap of blasting also has a 50% chance for the trap to trigger an additional time. This isn't exactly 50% more damage however this is a very good thing for uptime. With all of these things combined, we have one of the hardest-hitting traps in the game. Even with no insane gear, you’re able to do pretty significant damage going upwards of roughly 40 million. Trappers are one of the best bossers in the entirety of the game. This ability is quite powerful for Necropolis League start.
