S Tier

  • Restoration Druid - Exceptional throughput healing and versatility. Tranquility is hugely impactful. Great mobility to respond quickly.

  • Destruction Warlock - Consistent high damage through Immolate uptime and Ignite. Chaos Bolt provides strong burst potential. Drain Life gives survivability.

  • Beast Mastery Hunter - Strong sustained ranged damage from pet and abilities. Best overall damage uptime of hunter specs. Good utility through Binding Shot and Concussive Shot.

  • Demonology Warlock - Excellent pressure and burst combo of Demonic Tyrant and Hand of Gul'dan. Demonbolt provides solid filler damage. Utility from Grimoire of Sacrifice and Hand of Gul'dan snare.

  • Discipline Priest - Combination of strong healing throughput and consistent high damage output through Atonement and Power Word: Solace. Offers team damage reduction and immunity buttons.

  • Windwalker Monk - Received damage buffs pushing them over the edge. Good synergy between Fists of Fury, Rising Sun Kick, and Storm, Earth and Fire clone. Mobility lets them apply constant pressure.

  • Subtlety Rogue - Sustained damage and control from Shadow Dance with Shadowstrike and Nightblade. Smoke Bomb and Shroud provide excellent survivability options. Nerfed but still represented at high levels.

A Tier

  • Mistweaver Monk - Strong and versatile healer through Essence Font, Revival and RJW. Lacks some of the throughput and utility of top healers.

  • Arms Warrior - Great offensive capabilities from Colossus Smash and Mortal Strike debuff. Durable and sticky with big cooldowns.

  • Havoc Demon Hunter - Burst potential from Immolation Aura but relies on Metamorphosis and Blur uptime. Low defensive options otherwise makes them vulnerable.

  • Elemental Shaman - Chain Lightning and Lava Burst provide ranged pressure and burst. Capable but lacks some representation at top levels.

  • Affliction Warlock - Steady damage flow with Corruption and Agony. Drain Soul gives excellent self-healing. Lacks some of Destruction's burst potential.

  • Frost Mage - Strong poly/root utility along with burst from Frozen Orb and Icicles. Control focused over Destruction's damage potential.

  • Balance Druid - Consistent ranged pressure and strong defensive cooldowns. Struggles with melee uptime compared to other casters.

  • Arcane Mage - Burst combos around Arcane Power. Control focused with good mobility and defenses when played optimally.

  • Devastation Evoker - Recent buffs pushed them up by improving AoE flow. Still somewhat reliant on long cooldowns and lack defensive utility compared to other tanks.

  • Holy Paladin - Off-healing capabilities from Beacon of Virtue and utilities like Blessing of Protection. Struggles with pure throughput.

  • Marksmanship Hunter - Ranged sniper playstyle with traps. Strong but not quite on same level as BM's overall toolkit.

  • Restoration Shaman - Chain Heal and Riptide flow healing. Capable but lacks some throughput when compared to top healers.

  • Feral Druid - High skill cap with burst combos aroundBerserk/Incarnation. Difficult to master and punishable by mechanical play.

  • Retribution Paladin - Bursty with cooldowns around Avenging Wrath but hard countered by mechanics and kiting.

  • Holy Priest - Consistent passive healing and bigger cooldowns. Struggles providing offensive or defensive utility of other healers.

  • Assassination Rogue - Good damage over time pressure focused. Lacks Subtlety's control/survivability or Outlaw's burst potential.

  • Shadow Priest - Damage over time pressure and Mind Games burst. Vulnerable to being trained down compared to other casters.

  • Preservation Evoker - Constant healing output from Flourish. Lacks throughput and utility of other healers though performs adequately.

  • Fire Mage - Burst potential around Combustion but lacks consistency outside cooldowns. Vulnerable defensively.

  • Fury Warrior - High damage intake potential relying on cooldown stacking. Struggles compared to Arms consistency and utility.

C Tier

  • Retribution Paladin - Low survivability and mobility make them easy to shut down completely in current meta.
