Diablo 4 Double Uber Unique Drops - D4 Hotfix 5 Patch 1.2.3

We got new Hotfix in Diablo 4 December 20th as part of patch 1.2.3, it's live right now. The first bit of good news here is that all the Echo of Duriel drop rates, also means the Uber unique drop rates are now doubled until January 8th. 

Diablo 4 Double Uber Unique Drops - D4 New Hotfix

Uber Uniques are special versions of regular Uniques with enhanced attributes and affixes. They provide top-tier loot but are challenging to defeat. Players must use the Ritual of Negation to summon an Uber version of a Unique monster. Before this hotfix, Uber Uniques dropped only a single Unique item when killed. Now, the number of guaranteed Unique drops has been doubled to 2 Uniques per Uber kill. This amplifies the reward for taking on these difficult optional bosses. With the potential to now loot twice as many powerful Primordial items, farming Ubers becomes more enticing. The hotfix also increases Uniques dropped from Uber Minions from 1 to 2 items. Even the minions surrounding the Uber boss now have better rewards.

Hotfix 5 - Patch 1.2.3 (December 20, 2023)

Game Updates

- Echo of Duriel drop rates for Uber Uniques will now be doubled until January 8th. So we already established that the drop rate is 2%, so 1 in every 50 runs, you would get a Duriel. Uber unique is 4%, so you just do 25 Duriel runs and you will get on average.

Vampire Power Update

- Metamorphosis: Unstoppable duration changed to a flat rate instead of scaling with Vampiric power level.

• Unstoppable duration changed to 2.5 seconds at all levels. No longer increases per level.

• Damage increased from 80%/120%/160% to 110%/180%/250%

Note: Metamorphosis in-game tooltip will not reflect these new values, and will be updated at a later date through a client update.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue where in extreme cases, Charged Bolts would result in stability and performance issues.
