This build is not for totally new players though as you still need to dodge some mechanics and cannot tank everything.

Pros

• -High DPS from Act 1 -> End Game

• -Low Budget Viable

• -Scales well with more investment (200+ M DPS)

• -It Freezes everything that can be frozen

• -Pretty safe playstyle

Cons

• -Defense okayish but not unkill, not super tanky especially while leveling where you need to stand close to the enemy

• -Mapping speed not great before explody flask

Act 1:

• -Lightning Tendrils - Infused Channeling - Added Lightning

• -Orb of Storm - Added Lightning

• -Frostblink - Arcane Surge

• -Clarity (enough to hold it at level somewhere between 3-6)

• -(optional) Bodyswap

Act 2:

• -Bandit: help Alira

• -Lightning Tendrils - Infused Channeling - Added Lightning - (new) Controlled Destruction

• -Orb of Storm - Added Lightning - (new) Ele Focus - (new) Controlled Destruction

• -Herald of thunder

• -Wave of Conviction - Faster Cast (to apply exposure): Make sure to check its tool tip and make sure the lowest lightning dmg is higher than the highest dmg of other types, if not, grab the “40%phsy converted to lightning” for the lightning mastery on the skill tree.

• -(optional) Arctic Armour

Act 3:

• -Wrath

• -Conductivity

Act 4:

• -Do your first lab, and get Elementalist ascendancy

• -For the first ascendancy node, two choices: If want more dps, get “Mastermind of Discord” which applies a extra - 25% resistance for your exposure, if want defense and safer play style, pick the golem node and allocate golem node on your skill tree, then use chaos golem, stone golem and lightning golem.

Act 5:

Nothing new.

Act 6:

• -You can access all gems from vendor (or can do in Act 3 if you do the lab quest)

• -Get Determination and replace Wrath (grab strength from gear and skill tree)

• -Shield Charge (or Leap Slam, depending on your weapon type) - Faster Attack

• -(optional) Can drop Orb of Storm setup to free more sockets, as it only has 30% dps of Lightning Tendrils

• -Use this setup until finish campaign

Mana Sustain:

• -Mana regen from Clarity + Alira, and also the life mastery node “skill cost life instead of 30% of mana” should fully sustain your mana without mana flask

• -If not, grab mana regen and mana mastery on skill tree.
