How To Prepare For Season 8 in NBA 2K23?

Here we just want to let you know how to prepare for the new season, what you should be doing to put yourself in the best situation to have the most fun in Season 8, and what you should be doing over the next few days before Season 8.

  • Finish All The Main Game Modes in MyTeam

Most likely the last season of the year that we actually do get content, the first thing that's very basic and very obvious is you want to be completing the game modes, you've been grinding. Just get that out the way, if you've been playing Unlimited, finish unlimited; if you've been playing Clutch Time, make sure you're finishing; if you want to grind for Zion Williamson, go to get the fun small forward to use in the game; and if you also want some MT and XP in the game, go to complete some Season Agendas. So that's just the most obvious thing you should do before the new season, make sure you're finishing all the main game modes.

  • Get Free Promo Packs

Try to get as many of these free promo packs as possible because you never know what you can actually pull from these free packs. If you go to your Challenges screen, you will find the skills challenges and scroll down to these packs, you can see every single time they drop a Content drop on Friday that including the En Fuego packs and Splash Zone packs. You have a way to get a free pack every single time they drop one of those, so for example, you complete these two triple threat challenges very easy to do and then you get a free Fuego pack.  That's just extra empty that you want to be grounded for to try to add onto your empty account and there are also those Rush equal chance packs you most likely know how to obtain. From the weekend vendors as well, you can get free packs from Week Parts. So make sure you are getting these packs that are very simple to do, and you can hit an invincible or some dark matters that sell for MT profit.

  • Get All Free Dark Matters from Spotlight Challenges

The other main thing you want to be focusing on actually playing the game-wise is going to be these all-time Spotlight challenges. Basically, there's going to be a total of 30 free Dark Matters in the game, getting released once every single day. So for the past 25 or 24 days, we've been getting one of these Dark Matters every single day and there's now every single ease card available in the game. So you can get all 30 free Dark Matters from these easy-to-do spotlight challenges from West and East Conferences. They are definitely boring but you want to make sure you're grinding these challenges for that end game or invincible lock-in. What's more, make sure you're staying up to date and not falling too far behind, because once you get the East Conference collection and the Western Conference collection, there is a grand prize that will be available on June 30th which is the last day of the season.

  • Sell Your Cards and Stack Up MT

The last thing has to do with the market and trying to stack up as much MT as possible because you want to have a lot of MT going into the end-game stage. We're getting into the end game stage of MyTeam where every single card drop is now going to have most likely one end game coming out. We're not sure what they're going to do on Tuesdays for content but then every single Friday is going to have at least one end game. In the future, it's going to soon have two or three end game cards getting dropped as every single content drop and that means the market is going to continue to go down and down over time and the value of cards are just going to continue to drop down. So we suggest you can sell out your team to try to stack up on as much MT as possible this weekend.
