4/13/2023 4:54:54 PM

With season 1 coming to an end, what are the best WOW Dragonflight 2v2 and 3v3 arena comps for season 2? There are many possible arena comps, and choosing the best Dragonflight 10.1 arena comps often depends on factors like the current meta, the strengths and weaknesses of each player, and the opponents they will be facing. In this Dragonflight 10.1 arena comp tier list, we’re going to rank them for best 2v2 and 3v3 comps in season 2.

WoW Dragonflight 10.1 Best 2v2 & 3v3 Comps - Dragonflight 2v2 & 3v3 Arena Comps Tier List

In World of Warcraft Dragonflight, an arena comp (short for "arena composition") refers to the specific combination of classes and specializations that players bring to an arena match in PvP. Arena comps can vary widely, but they are usually designed to complement each other's strengths and weaknesses in order to achieve victory over the opposing team. Some arena comps may focus on dealing high damage output, while others may prioritize crowd control or survivability. Check our prediction for the Wow Dragonflight season 2 arena tier list 10.1, S tier means the gold tier comps among them all, a tier means pretty solid comps, b tier comps are they’re not bad in the middle ground, and c tier is the comps that we wouldn't really want to run but you still can do these and find success.

Dragonflight 10.1 Comp Tier List 2v2

S Tier

Discipline Priest + Retribution Paladin + Beast Mastery Hunter

Cupid is an amazing comp in Dragonflight 10.1 because of how good Ret Paladin is. With Ret Paladins taking over the game. All hunter specs are really good at the moment, but if there's a preference it's going to be with a BM Hunter. All the damage is there, it's constant, it just pumps. We would stick with the BM Hunter but you could do the other two. What's really nice about this WOW Dragonflight 10.1 3v3 arena comp is this Disc Priest is having issues in terms of Mana and having a cupid it's all in setup goes. If you want to run setup-type comps, it works very well. So you're dependent upon that trap every 30 seconds, you're forcing cooldowns or potentially landing a kill. Cupid is a strong comp.

Discipline Priest + Frost Death Knight + Devastation Evoker

This is another comp in the S tier on this Dragonflight season 2 3v3 arena comp tier list. Not only is this comp very good but also is free CR. People just get demolished by it and that's running with a Frost Death and a Devastation Evoker. This dragon walking comp pumps and puts big work in, you have one minute to go, and your job is just to keep your team up for that one minute which can be a bit stressful. The Devastation Evoker can do a lot of kiting for you, he'll be able to kite away to mitigate some of the damage with the DK. You can just clock anybody out, you can triple kill with the best Dragonflight 10.1 comp 3v3.

A Tier

Discipline Priest + Arms Warrior + Retribution Paladin

There's going to be only one comp on this Dragonflight 10.1 3v3 arena comps ranking that is an A tier and that's going to be Ret Warrior. When you play Ret Warrior, it's a lot of damage. With the Warrior, you have a lot of utility and they also bring a mortal strike to the table for Ret Paladin which is godly with the amount of damage that the Rest do. The reason why we’re not putting it into the S tier is that this comp can easily go into dampening.  This is a very good comp to run but just be aware you got to watch your mana when you're healing this.

B Tier

Discipline Priest + Arms Warrior + Frost Death Knight

This comp is very good, you have one-minute goes and if you see a third go, usually it's a game. That means you're lasting three minutes into a match, you have to be really cautious in terms of your mana, but there's a lot of potential because of the setup with the DK. It's not as clean as having a Ret Paladin but still a good comp to run.

Discipline Priest + Frost Death Knight + Retribution Paladin

A lot of people said that Ret Paladin and Frost DK were going to be insane, it's going to be S tier but nobody runs it. The truth is it's not really that crazy. You will run into some trouble with that but you can always get a triple stun on them and you can lock them down. We do see a lot of potential with this, the Ret will be able to help you survive even longer to be able to make it for that next go when you're playing with a Frost DK.

Discipline Priest + Frost Death Knight + Windwalker

Walking Dead has a lot of potential to climb in Dragonflight patch 10.1, since Windwalker has a ton of damage, they could definitely pump.

Discipline Priest + Windwalker + Retribution Paladin

Ret Windwalker offers high damage and high burst. If you could run this comp well, this comp ran around 2400-2500 damage.

Discipline Priest + Retribution Paladin + Havoc Demon Hunter

This is a good comp. Ret DH was really nice even before the rework. They can just do high bursts and big damage. The DH adds support to the survivability that you have with darkness and can definitely kite away and makes it harder to be able to kill people when you have a super mobile like a Windwalker Monk in there or with a DH both.

C Tier

Discipline Priest + Frost Mage + Demonology Warlock

Wizards are running with A frost Mage and a Demo Lock or a Destro Lock. You could do these and do very well, it's just an issue with mana.

Discipline Priest + Subtlety Rogue + Fire Mage

RMP is definitely taking a hit. First, it's very difficult to find Rogues, they just don't exist anymore, they all went to go play Ret Paladin. You could definitely climb as RMP, it's not really a preference at the moment. You can still run this and be successful.

Discipline Priest + Beast Mastery Hunter + Survival Hunter

You could do Jungle with a BM. Jungle is also good, it's definitely fallen off a bit. You don't see a lot of players play with Jungle because Ret can definitely counter this pretty quickly. But you could do Jungle and find success.

Discipline Priest + Shadow Priest + Demonology Warlock

You could do Shadow Priest and Demo and you can even do Shadow Priest Desto. You could argue that this could even be in B if you wanted to. However, you run into a little dampening issue at the moment.

Discipline Priest + Destruction Warlock + Assassination Rogue

You can still do Desto Rogue, but Rogues are just in a really troubled place. This comp had a lot of play earlier in season 1, but now not so much.

Dragonflight 10.1 Comp Tier List 2v2

S Tier

Frost Mage + Restoration Druid

This is going to be one of your S tier 2v2 comps in Dragonflight season 2. You have a lot of CC, cyclone, vortex, sheep, and kick. Overall, Resto Druid is probably the second-best healer in the game right now outside a Preservation Evoker. Frost and Restoration Druid work very well together, so this is the best Dragonflight 10.1 comp for 2v2.

Frost Mage + Demonology Warlock

Demo Frost S tier 100%. This is your Dragonflight 10.1 best 2v2 comp and there's no comp better than demo Frost in twos. It's very fun to play, moreover, you have a ton of survivability.

A Tier

Frost Mage + Feral Druid

This is a very strong Dragonflight 2v2 comp season 2. Similar to Resto Druid, you have a ton of CC. But Ferals do die way easier now than before, so that's why we would put it at an A tier instead of an S tier. However, it's really strong and you can have very good setups and double stun into sheep setups and just spam out CC. Still one of the best Dragonflight 2v2 arena comps for patch 10.1.

Frost Mage + Subtlety Rogue

This is A tier just because Sub Rogue is really strong and they can they have a lot of CC. It's basically good with any class same with Frost.

Frost Mage + Shadow Priest

Shadow Priest is the Caster version of Sub Rogue. It's also an A tier 2v2 comp Dragonflight patch 10.1. It's very strong!

Frost Mage + Destruction Warlock

It's not as strong as Demo Frost but it is very strong because they have a double coil a lot of ways to get out pressure. You can have very long CC chains so this is an A tier comp and could be S.

Frost Mage + Assassination Rogue

This is probably a really good 10.1 comp for Dragonflight PvP. It's better than Sub with Frost just because you can do a lot of spread pressure and you don't really have to worry about breaking CC. You can run down one target or you can multi-dot and cleave. Assassination Rogue is up there with Sub.

B Tier

Frost Mage + Outlaw Rogue

Playing with a Rogue as a Frost Mage has a lot of abilities like cleave and break CC. With that being said, Rogue is very strong and Outlaw in particular with the Frost Mage is probably a B tier comp. Just because you have a lot of CC, however your spouse as a Frost Mage will be breaking a lot of random CC. It's not the best but you can make it work.

Frost Mage + Affliction Warlock

This is a b tier 2v2 comp Dragonflight patch 10.1. It's not as good as Destro and Demo with Frost because you can't really sheep or it ruins all their damage and all their dots.

Frost Mage + Preservation Evoker

Similar to H Priests except it's better, so we'd put it in B tier. You don't really have a reliable stun however it is way easier for an Evoker to get off their damage than it is for a Priest. They also can help pick you up, get you out of stuns, and give you immunities. There are a lot of cool things about Evoker that Priest doesn't have and that's why we rate it higher than a Priest.

Frost Mage + Unholy Death Knight

Unholy Death Knight has a ton of damage, they don't die and they have a lot of AOE pressure. As a Frost Mage, you could sit 40 yards back and just spam glacial while your DK grips everyone in. This is a B tier comp.

Frost Mage + Devastation Evoker

This is really strong, we would put it in B tier. It's sort of like a budget Warlock.

Frost Mage + Windwalker Monk

Windwalker Monk can live on their own and they do a lot of damage so that's a B tier WoW Dragonflight season 2 comp for 2v2. They also have their stun, you can do really good setups and you can hold glacial when they go in for a leg sweep. You can CC the off-target and probably do really well with this comp.

Frost Mage + Frost Mage

Double Frost Mage could work, we’re going to put it in B tier for now because you don't really have a reliable stun. You're just putting out damage, you don't really have a setup to win. However, you both have polymorph, but with some of these other comps in the lower tiers, you don't have a stun to really make things happen. But if you had a really good Frost Mage and you both knew exactly what you were doing, you can cleave things down with a double ice wall, bring fire glacial spikes and you could do a lot of nice things.

C Tier

Frost Mage + Holy Priest

This is a C tier comp, it's not really that fun to play. Holy priests do have a stun however it's nowhere near as good as Resto Druid.

Frost Mage + Retribution Paladin

Retribution Paladin does a lot of damage and they have decent survivability similar to Enhancement Shaman, we would actually put this at C tier. It feels just a little bit better than an Enhancement Shaman.

Frost Mage + Balance Druid

Because of the cyclone, off-healing, and root beam, we put this in C tier on this Dragonflight 10.1 2v2 comp ranking. It's not as bad as before, but you do have ways to set up and get kills.

Frost Mage + Havoc Demon Hunter

DH Frost is broken and they can live for a while. But with that being said, they can't really peel for you if you're getting ran down by certain classes. Your DH can't really help you as well as certain classes can, so we're going to put it at C just because they're so busted. It's not something you should rely on.

Frost Mage + Elemental Shaman

It's hard to peel for your Shaman sometimes, we’re going to put this at C tier. In general, you should not rely on this comp.

Frost Mage + Arcane Mage

We don't really see this working it. You could get some gimmick one-shots at a lower rating. But in general, you don't expect to climb really with this.

D Tier

Frost Mage + Enhancement Shaman

This is a D tier comp. Even though Enhancement Shaman is really busted and they have a lot of off-healing and they can live a really long time but it's just uncomfortable to queue with.

Frost Mage + Discipline Priest

This does do a lot of damage. However, sort of like Enhancement Shaman, there's no really good setup, you don't have a stun with the displease. You're kind of just pumping damage out and it's not always the easiest to do that.

Frost Mage + Holy Paladin

We never queued with a Holy Paladin, neither we had fun nor wanted to keep queuing it. This class is terrible and this comp is terrible.

D Frost Mage + Frost Death Knight

We don't really see this working, this would not be good at all.

Frost Mage + Marksmanship Hunter

We don't think any Hunter meshes well with Frost Mage at all. They'd all just get run down eventually and there's nothing you can really do about it.

Frost Mage + Fury Warrior

Same with Fury Warrior, it doesn't really go well with your Frost.

Frost Mage + Restoration Shaman

It feels not fun to play with them at all. It feels awful because you're always dying and you can't really land kills.

Frost Mage + Arms Warrior

Frost Mage + Fire Mage

Frost Mage + Mistweaver
