3/12/2023 11:29:36 PM

In this guide, we go over the top 10 easiest builds to use in Elden Ring, all of these are incredibly easy to use and a lot of fun for people that are having a little bit more difficult time, or if you just want to go through get some areas very quickly these are going to be an awesome weapon setup for you.

Top 10 Best Easiest Builds & Weapons for PvE/PvP To Use in Elden Ring 2023

1 - Shield & Heal Build

  • Weapons & Ash of War: Blasphemous Blade+10 with Taker's Flames (Right Hand), Demi-Human Queen's Staff+25 (Right Hand), Fingerprint Stone Shield+25 (Left Hand), Scholar Shield (Left Hand)

  • Talismans: Shard of Alexander, Greatshield Talisman, Great-Jar's Arsenal, Ritual Sword Talisman

  • Flask of Wondrous Physick: Flame-Shrounding Creacked Tear, Opaline Hardtear

  • Stats (150 Level): 50 Vigor, 21 Mind, 34 Endurance, 48 Strength, 15 Dexterity, 12 Intelligence, 40 Faith, 9 Arcane

With this build, you can block almost anything in the game and you rarely run out of stamina, and you can heal back any chip damage that you take. Now there are a few bosses like Radagon who can guard break you if they hit you enough something like Waterfowl for Melania can also guard break you, but it's very rare for the majority of bosses. We would say 80% of bosses in the game aren't going to break you with Scholar Shield on the Fingerprint Shield and the Blasphemous Blade does fantastic damage and heals you consistently. It's a fantastic build especially if you're new and trying things out if you're somebody that just likes to explore, you can do a lot of damage with this build as well and of course, you can block everything, and can heal a bunch too. The other thing is the Blasphemous blade is something that's always going to do a lot of damage too, as one of the best faith weapons in the entire game, and being able to stack that with an awesome Shield that can block anything makes for an unbelievable build. Overall, this is one of the most fantastic builds to use for almost all the bosses in the game.

2 - Rogier's Build

  • Weapons & Ash of War: Rogier's Magic Rapier+24 (Right Hand), Finger Seal (Left Hand)

  • Armor: Spellbalde's Armor Set

  • Talismans: Shard of Alexander, Ritual Sword Talisman, Dagger Talisman, Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman

  • Flask of Wondrous Physick: Magic-Shrounding Cracked Tear, Faith-knot Crystal Tear

  • Stats (150 Level): 50 Vigor, 26 Mind, 26 Endurance, 12 Strength, 23 Dexterity, 60 Intelligence, 33 Faith, 9 Arcane

This build uses Glintblade Phalanx Ash of War which does ridiculous amounts of posture damage, it can make the game a lot easier in the process. If you're somebody that loved flame of the redmanes and you used it a lot this is definitely going to be your new replacement, because it basically does the same amount of posture damage and has the same amount of usage 30% posture damage per Ash of War, you can stance break very often, and since posture was nerfed across the board this is one of those ones that was on touch. It works fantastically for those stance breaks, be sure by the way to be facing whatever you're fighting with these, and then trying to cast it again very quickly, and usually, within about three of them you're going to stance break. It is fantastic for stance breaking in general and then you have a follow-up R2 as well if you're using this ash of war or you can also use a dagger to enhance the critical hits too. This is a really easy build to use to get in those stance breaks, it's a lot of fun getting the critical hits in general and just a well-rounded build that you can get by the mid-game. Overall, this is a fantastic weapon is incredibly easy to use and makes the game a lot easier as well.

3 - Bolt of Gransax Build

  • Weapons & Ash of War: Bolt of Gransax+9 (Right Hand), Finger Seal (Left Hand)

  • Armor: Black Dumpling

  • Talismans: Ritual Sword Talisman, Godfrey Icon, Lightning Scorpion Charm, Shard of Alexander

  • Flask of Wondrous Physick: Lightning-Shrounding Cracked Tear, Opaline Hardtear

  • Stats (200 Level): 60 Vigor, 30 Mind, 29 Endurance, 30 Strength, 80 Dexterity, 9 Intelligence, 33 Faith, 9 Arcane

Bolt of Gransax is one of the easiest weapons to use and has a ridiculous amount of range, especially for first playthroughs or the beginning of New Game Plus cycles. It also has a great range that you can utilize from a safe place too which makes it incredibly easy to use understand and get good damage out of this weapon by the way fantastic for first playthroughs and even second playthroughs do have a drop off when you get to a round Journey four or five or later, but even so it does fantastic damage and has good range.

4 - Full Status Effect Build

  • Weapons & Ash of War: Blood Antspur Rapier+25 with Seppuku (Right Hand), Poison Antspur Rapier+25 with Poison Moth Flight (Left Hand), Finger Seal (Left Hand)

  • Talismans: Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Kindred of Rot's Exultation, Millicent's Prosthesis, Lord of Blood's Exultation

  • Flask of Wondrous Physick: Greenburst Crystal Tear, Thorny Cracked Tear

  • Stats (200 Level): 60 Vigor, 25 Mind, 25 Endurance, 50 Strength, 40 Dexterity, 9 Intelligence, 25 Faith, 40 Arcane

This is a really fun build, we didn't include the Scavenger Curve swords or any of the jump attack builds because they actually take a little bit of time to learn how to time all the jump attacks and to be able to hit especially smaller targets. But for this we want to include the Antspur Rapier because they are really easy to use, they build up a ton of status effects, you've put it on pretty much any Ash of War that you want to put on them and you can basically wait out the clock by using rot poison, you can even throw bleed in there. These are really easy to use just simply by spamming L1, you do a ton of damage as well. They have 50 innate rod on them, and even with the Nerf to dual status effects, they still build up rather quickly. And you can throw in the poison on one and bleed on another, you can basically just melt the majority of bosses in Elden Ring with ease now.

5 - Darkmoon Greatsword Build

  • Weapons & Ash of War: Darkmoon Greatsword+10 (Right Hand), Finger Seal (Left Hand), Lusat's Glintstone Staff+10 (Left Hand)

  • Armor: Jar, Spellblade's Traveling Attire, Spellblade's Gloves, Spellblade's Trousers

  • Talismans: Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, Godfrey Icon, Shard of Alexander, Magic Scorpion Charm

  • Flask of Wondrous Physick: Opaline Hardtear, Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear

  • Stats (200 Level): 60 Vigor, 35 Mind, 25 Endurance, 23 Strength, 15 Dexterity, 80 Intelligence, 33 Faith, 8 Arcane

Dark Moon Greatsword is also one of the easiest weapons to use an Elden Ring and a fantastic weapon for a mage. It has a good amount of range, it's not very FP costly since you can send out the beams for an entire minute after casting the ash of war and then it does 30-something stance damage per attack as well. Darkmoon Greatsword is probably one of the safest weapons to use as a mage, so if you're a Mage and you've never tried this weapon, definitely be sure to try it out, given the fact that you get Frost damage even if it is a little bit from a distance, you have that mid-range distance constantly and you're always able to use it from a safe place while also not using much FP because once again you have a full minute to cast it.

6 - Rivers of Blood Build

  • Weapons & Ash of War: Rivers of Blood with Corpse Piler (Right Hand), Dragon Communion Seal+10 (Left Hand)

  • Armor: White Mask

  • Talismans: Shard of Alexander, Millicent's Prosthesis, Lord of Blood's Exultation, Rotten Winged Sword Insignia

  • Flask of Wondrous Physick: Thorny Cracked Tear, Faith-knot Crystal Tear

  • Stats (150 Level): 50 Vigor, 23 Mind, 26 Endurance, 18 Strength, 50 Dexterity, 7 Intelligence, 25 Faith, 45 Arcane

Rivers of Blood Build obviously has that very spammable weapon art and still after the Nerfs is very very good for the majority of bosses in Elden Ring. Rivers of Blood at launch was really overpowered, it was processing bleed like crazy while doing massive damage it's still good though even after the Nerfs and that spammable weapon art will do fire damage, physical damage, and a good amount of bleed build up as well. Rivers of Blood is probably one of the easiest weapons to use in the game and you can even just Spam L2 if you feel like it.

7 - Wing of Astel Build

  • Weapons & Ash of War: Wing of Astel+10 with Nebula (Right Hand), Finger Seal (Left Hand), Staff of Loss (Left Hand)

  • Armor: Spellblade's Pointed Hat, Spellblade's Traveling Attire, Spellblade's Gloves, Spellblade's Trousers

  • Talismans: Rotten Sword Talisman, Magic Scorpion Charm, Shard of Alexander, Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman

  • Flask of Wondrous Physick: Opaline Hardtear, Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear

  • Stats (200 Level): 40 Vigor, 40 Mind, 26 Endurance, 20 Strength, 28 Dexterity, 84 Intelligence, 33 Faith, 8 Arcane

Wing of Astel's Ash of War Nebula is an awesome Ash of War to use, it does ridiculous amounts of damage and, it's very easy to use to quick to cast and very easy to buff to, because it's pure magic damage. Since it can be boosted by Terra Magicka and the Magic Scorpion Charm of course the Shard of Alexander, you can get a ton of damage out of it and it's very quick to cast easy to buff. The ash of war is really impressive as we talked about, this is really one of the ones where if you're amazed and you haven't tried the Wing of Astral yet. You absolutely have to try the Wing of Astel,  it's a ton of fun to use to and can shred the majority of bosses in the game.

8 - Power Lightning Build

  • Weapons & Ash of War: Gravel Stone Seal+25 (Right Hand), Jellyfish Shield (Left Hand)

  • Armor: Black Dumpling, Crucible Axe Armor, Crucible Gauntlets, Crucible Greaves

  • Talismans: Gragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, Lightning Scorpion Charm, Ritual Sword Talisman, Flock's Canvas Talisman

  • Flask of Wondrous Physick: Lightning-Shrouding Cracked Tear, Opaline Hardtear

  • Stats (150 Level): 50 Vigor, 25 Mind, 26 Endurance, 20 Strength, 15 Dexterity, 9 Intelligence, 70 Faith, 14 Arcane

This power lightning is going to do a good amount of damage might not one shot as much, but you're going to get consistently good damage out of it while doing a couple of simple Buffs and then being able to cast it with ease and the safety of having full HP and being able to utilize it this way before you get into the harder version - the low Health procking, poison procking, and all that stuff which can be a little bit complicated. This is probably one of the most fun builds to use in Elden Ring. The Ancient Dragon Lightning Strike is the pillar of Faith builds really. If you haven't used it in your faith build, this is something you absolutely have to try the damage threshold is insane. We're using simple stuff like the Jellyfish Shield, Hollister Brewery, and Golden Vow to increase our damage, give us a good amount of damage at full HP, and then we're using the Ritual Sword Talisman to boost us at full HP as well. You will do massive damage to the majority of bosses in the game, you're going to see a fairly easy and straightforward one shot.

9 - Ornamental Straight Sword Build

  • Weapons & Ash of War: Ornamental Straight Sword+9 with Golden Tempering (Right Hand), Giant's Seal+25 (Left Hand)

  • Armor: Crucible Set

  • Talismans: Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Ritual Sword Talisman, Dagger Talisman, Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, Millicent's Prosthesis

  • Flask of Wondrous Physick: Thorny Cracked Tea, Faith-knot Crystal Tear

  • Stats (150 Level): 60 Vigor, 18 Mind, 28 Endurance, 10 Strength, 80 Dexterity, 9 Intelligence, 25 Faith, 14 Arcane

The straight swords that you get one at the beginning of the game and another one later in the game, so while technically you only get one it ends up being two, it has an ability to turn into two weapons which then changes the charged attack and gives you a two-handed attack with your R1 on Xbox which is normally your regular light attack now has the Dual stance typical L1 attack. It makes this a rather unique weapon given the fact that it has that ability to change and then utilize very quick attacks which obviously can build up successive attacks. After activating the Ash of War, we get that special unique R2 attack which has a combination basically of a bunch of attacks that build up successive attack damage and it's really awesome.

10 - Raptor Talons Build

  • Weapons & Ash of War: Keen Raptor Talons+24 with Storm Stomp (Right Hand), Giant's Seal+25 (Left Hand)

  • Armor: Jar, Raptor's Black Feathers, Radahn's Gauntlets, Radahn's Greaves

  • Talismans: Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Claw Talisman, Lord of Blood's Exultation, Millicent's Prosthesis

  • Flask of Wondrous Physick: Thorny Cracked Tea, Faith-knot Crystal Tear

  • Stats (150 Level): 60 Vigor, 18 Mind, 28 Endurance, 10 Strength, 80 Dexterity, 9 Intelligence, 15 Faith, 14 Arcane

Now the Raptor Talons don't have a ton of range but they can build up on successive hits and they're really powerful if you stack blood flame with them since they have innate bleed on them, they'll do a substantial amount of bleed as well. They're fantastic given that innate bleed we mentioned builds up a lot of bleed together, they're really quick to hit, you can build up successive attack stuff, and you're able to get a lot of damage out of the Raptor Talons. We're able to take down the fire Giant easily, for mobs this is excellent as well.

Definitely be sure to check out all these weapons and builds in general, they are going to make the game a lot easier for you.
