WoW Dragonflight 10.1 Release Date & Leaks - Dragonflight Patch Release Schedule 2023

The next 10.0.7 patch is coming soon in World of Warcraft Dragonflight, what we are going to highlight here is the Dragonflight patch release schedule in 2023, including the WoW 10.1 release date and content leaks, as well as all the upcoming patches (10.1.5, 10.1.7 and 10.2).

WoW Dragonflight Patch Release Schedule 2023

Firstly, thanks to SignsOfKelani, there is a WoW patch release schedule in 2023 for the Dragonflight expansion. Let’s take a look at the release timeline of 10.0.5 and 10.07 patches in World of Warcraft Dragonflight, the 10.0.5 PTR hit on December 15 and the Patch itself launched on January 24, there is a very short PTR cycle, only five and a half weeks, if we take that and apply it to Patch 10.0.7, we got a very early release date of 10.0.7 PTR is January 31, then five to six weeks after that would put us somewhere between March 7th and March 14th, which is just around the corner. But 10.0.5 was probably a faster cycle than 10.0.7 because the development team probably had a lot more work done for 10.0.5 before it went on to the PTR, in addition, it is also a small patch without new zones and something like that. 

So if the WoW 10.0.7 Patch is going to bring class changes, holiday updates, human & orc heritage armor, and more things, the actual length of the testing cycle will be longer, so we are possibly to see the official 10.0.7 Patch after eight to nine weeks until the launch of PTR. Considering the WoW Noblegarden event 2023, the Dragonflight 10.0.7 release date is most likely March 28 or April 4.

WoW Dragonflight 10.1 Release Date & Leaks

When do Dragonflight Patch 10.1 and Season 2 come out? Two months after the end of March, we’ll be at the end of May or the start of June, which fits perfectly for releasing Patch 10.1, which is set to launch between the Spring and Summer of 2023, this would also be six months after the release of Dragonflight, the general time frame for a WoW season is between four to six months, if they really want to have a two-year expansion cycle and each expansion includes four seasons, six-month seasons would be perfect with having the two minor patches in between that actually have content also helps to extend the life cycle of a season. 

According to the roadmap 2023, WoW Dragonflight Patch 10.1 (Season 2) is going to add new zones, new raids, a new PVP season, a new Mythic+ dungeon pool, professions updates, and user interface improvements. In addition, the data miners found the Embers of Neltharion could be the name of the Patch 10.1 narrative campaign, and lots of hints indicated that a new Dragonflight zone will take place underground, it is possible that the legacy of the fallen Aspect would be involved in the game.
