Best NBA 2K23 Season 5 Cards Tier List - Ranking Every Season 5 Card from Worst to Best
When it comes to these cards season 5, we are talking purely about them, how good they are, what badges they have, and what position they play. Here are all the new season 5 cards ranked on NBA 2K23 in a tier list.
Worst Cards:
Josh Hart - SF/SG - 85
He’s probably the best sapphire in the game, he’s a small forward shooting guard, only 6’4’’ with a 6’8’’ wingspan. He’s not going to be a great shooting guard, he doesn’t really have good dribble styles, they gave him a release on normal, Josh Hart base and upper, but it’s a sapphire card, don’t expect them to be that great, he’s going to be the worst season 5 reward card.
Mark West - C/PF - 93
Mark West sucks, he does a Lauri Markkanen lower base and quick on release timing. He’s not that great at power forward, he’s 6’10’’ with a 6’2 wingspan. His stats are okay, but he’s got a 59 shot 3pt, this card can’t really shoot the ball that well, obviously not having any badges. And defensively, he’s a solid defender. But he’s still sucks, there’s better card from the season 5 reward cards, he’s not worth buying.
Eric Money - PG/SG – 91
He’s a 6’0’’ point guard, only has 6’4’’ wingspan, but he’s going to be fun to use and actually usable on the offensive and his defensive stats are good. He’s also got a really good jumpshot with the John Wall base, Kemble Walker upper release, quick release timing, and John Wall signature size up. He’s got decent dunk, okay defense, he can survive out there. So he’s only 6’0’’, but at least the card is usable in the game.
Bimbo Coles - PG/SG - 89
Another point card with 6’1’’ height and 6’5’’ wingspan, he’s slightly better than Eric Money. He has the Kemba Walker base, John Collins release, quick release timing and Kemba Walker size up escape packages, so he’s going to move really nice at the point position. Obviously he’s not going to be that amazing because he’s only 6’0’’, but he’ is really not the worst card.
Spencer Haywood - PF/C - 97
He’s the guy on the road to 40, he’s not terrible, he’s not good either, he’s probably the top 7 or 8 range for the season 5 reward cards. His stats and badges are very well-rounded, he’s only 6’8’’ at power forward position, but he does have a 7’1’’ wingspan and a solid player model in game. For the stats, he’s going to be a really good rim runner, really good at basket with a 90 driving dunk and 97 standing dunk which is a super crucial to have a high rating of in NBA 2K22 because that’s a great way to score the ball. He’s got some great shooting badges, Hof Masher, Posterizer, Limitless Takeoff, Bully, Fast Twitch, so this card is super athletic, pretty fast for a power forward. And he’s got a solid jumpshot as well with the Devin Booker lower base and Taj Gibson upper release.
Monta Ellis - SG/PG - 98
He’s a shooting guard/point guard, 6’3’’ with 6’2’’ wingspan. The card is going to be nice on the offensive, but there are just so many good season 5 reward cards in the game, Monta Ellis is just a little bit undersized for the point guard spot, he’s obviously not going to play very good defense. He’s one of the weaker cards from each game mode.
Lou Hudson - SF/SG - 98
He’s 6’5’’ with a 6’8’’ wingspan at the small forward and shooting guard position. He’s really not going to be the greatest of defenders. The defensive stats aren’t the greatest, only an 85 driving dunk. Jumpshot Brandon Clarke base is not too great with Damian Lillard upper release and quick release timing. Overall, Lou Hudson is not going to be that great.
Best Season 5 Cards Worth Buying:
Chris Kaman - C/PF - 98
He’s a solid power forward, he’s 7’0’’ with 6’1’’ wingspan, so his wingspan is really short. He’s got some perfect stats, 83 shot 3pt, 80 speed, solid ball handle, defensively is going to be solid, 92 block, 92 interior defense. He’s got some really good defensive badges, HOF anchor, brick wall, post lockdown, rebound chaser. Overall, he’s not a bad power forward, probably the first actual usable card from the season 5 reward cards.
Nate Thurmond - C/PF - 98
He’s 6’11’’ with a 7’2’’ wingspan. This card’s stats are super good, 90 speed, 90 acceleration, 95 driving layup, 95 standing dunk, 90 lateral quickness, 95 driving dunk. His jumpshot Joe Harris base is solid, he’s basically just cream at the power forward position. This card is well-rounded.
Gary Trent Jr. - SG/SF - 95
He’s the pink diamond, he’s a solid shooting guard, he’s 6’5’’ with a 6’9’’ wingspan. All this card can really do is shoot the three ball and play some good defense on the perimeter, but it’s not like he even has that great of a jump shot, because it’s only going to be on normal timing and he’s literally got no dribble sakes, so the card can shoot threes and play a defense on the perimeter, definitely the best season 5 reward card, so you can really buy it.
Mike Bantom - SF/PF - 98
He’s the best small forward power forward with huge player builds and he’s going to be one of the best season 5 reward cards. They gave him Kyle Kuzma base and Rudy Gay upper release, he’s got perfect stats, he’s got every badge that you need in the game.
Jamal Crwford - SG/PG - 98
He’s a point guard at 6’5’’ with 6’10’’ wingspan, he has a quick release timing, really good dribble sigs as well, Jarrett Culver lower base, MJ dribble styles, and Steve Francis size up which is huge to have on any single card in the game, it’s really good for creating space, he’s probably somewhere in the top 7 range. This is going to be a very fun card to use on the offensive end.
Alex English - SF/SG - 98
He’s a solid shooting guard, he’s 6’7’’ with a 6’10’’ wingspan, he could play the small forward and shooting guard position. He’s basically just Opal Carmelo Anthony, their animations are the same. Alex English is a going to be solid a little bit better of a defender, Carmelo has the higher ball handle and the higher three-pointer. Alex English is going to be the top 6 season 5 reward card in NBA 2K23.
Bennedict Mathurin - SG/SF - 98
Bennedict Mathurin is better than Alex English, he’s a shooting guard, small forward 6’7’’ with a 6’10’’ wingspan. His stats are great, 95 speed, 95 acceleration, 92 shot 3pt, 95 driving dunk, 92 perimeter defense, 92 lateral quickness, 88 steal. He’s got a really good jumpshot and he’s going to be nice on the offensive. Donovan Mitchell signature size up is super nice to have on any single card in the game, quick release timing is good. So, he’s probably the fifth best card from the season 5 reward cards.
Tyler Herro - SG/PG – 99
He’s going to be the top 3 spot, he’s a great point guard, he’s 6’5’’ with 6’3’’ wingspan. He’s going to be amazing on the offensive end, he’s got tons of Hall of Flame shooting badges and playmaking badges. He’s got a great jumpshot, very quick release timing, his jumpshot is super fast and very easy to green and he’s also got that Steve Francis signature size up.
Billy Knight - SG/SF - 98
He’s a 6’6’’ shooting guard with 6’10’’ wingspan, he might be better than Mike Bantom, he might be the top 2. This card’s got such a good jumpshot, one of the best releases in the game and he also got some of the best sigs, his stats and badges are super well-rounded. This is the second best shooting guard in the game.
