The reason why leveling up the character is easier than ever in 5 Ways is because of the new rare monster mod system that GGG has introduced. One of the things they changed was that each rare monster gives a significantly higher amount of XP than before. Not really sure if they intended for this to happen but that is the reality of the situation. Also with the new Atlas Tree, stuff is getting Mighty wild. You're pretty much able to almost guarantee a legion spawner like 60 to 70%. 5 Way Set Prices are lower than ever due to everyone farming legion trying to take advantage of the new Legion Atlas Nodes. 5 Ways now give roughly 8 to 10% XP per run at level 99, meaning you can hit level 100 in very few runs.
What Are 5 Ways
It's called 5 way because you put in 5 of these emblems and these emblems spawn a bunch of rare monsters with their respective generals and in the zone that has 100% increased experience gain. Since all of the monsters that spawn are mostly rares, you get an insane amount of XP. So the people that do the 5 ways advertise on this Discord TFT where you can stand AFK next to an Aura bot. While you stand AFK, the “Carry” kills everything around you, and you receive crazy amounts of XP.
Cost of 5 Ways In POE
5 ways are cheaper than ever, and you can buy 3 runs for 1 divine. This is because there are half the clients since people reach 100 so much faster, and there is growing competition due to the lack of super profitable currency-making methods. The total cost of around 3 to 4 Divines to go from 99 to 100. Only cost a few divines to go from level 90 to 97.
How To Reach Level 100 In POE For No Cost
The funny thing is you can actually make a profit while running this by reducing the cost of zero. What can you actually do?
-One of the new hidden rare modifiers that occur is that it grants an insane amount of gem XP. The nice part about 5 ways is that you actually get so many rare monsters that spawn. So this rare monster with this hidden modifier reward is relatively common. What you can do is you could actually make a profit while doing the 5 ways by converting every single slot on your character to leveling gems.
-That is an enormous amount of money-making opportunity if you just buy gems from the vendor that are level 0 or level 1, you leveled them to 20 and you flip it to 21/20 and you just evolved them at 20/20. It actually just costs you nothing, you just buy it from the vendor.
-If you want to up your game a little bit, you could go buy a lot of awakened gems to level it to 5. But that does require a bit of capital investment or you can try to level up enlightens maybe but that also costs a lot of money. So if you make sure every single stock on your gear is dedicated to leveling a gem, you will probably break even of some sort and probably come out a little bit ahead.
POE 3.20 Leveling To 100 Tips
Make sure your character is tanky enough while doing 5 Ways and prioritize Chaos Resistance and life regeneration if you want to fully AFK. Skill points are a huge increase to the character’s tankiness and DPS while allowing you flexibility with fitting in Cluster Jewels. No one should have an excuse for not being level 100 if they do not mind taking a shortcut. 5 Ways should probably be nerfed if they ever want level 100 to have meaning again.
