Diablo 2 is currently in the middle of its second ladder season, which introduced two major new additions Terror Zones and Sundered Charms. And now is the time to get into the 22 Days of Terror Holiday event for celebrating the Christmas event 2022. 

So this is the 22 Nights Of Terror holiday event. The air stirs with whimsey, perhaps even magic, adventurer. However subtle, a joyous invocation permeates Sanctuary, casting a ray of holiday celebration upon its inhabitants, or is this demonic trickery? This magic from beyond is not cause for a ceasefire in the unremitting conflict between demon and mortal, but its nuances can still be felt, disturbances are surely lurking about. D2R 22 Nights of Terror Holiday Event Release Time

From a Blizzard’s blog post, we can know that from December 13, 11:00 a.m.–January 4, 11:00 a.m. PST the fabric of Sanctuary will be altered every 24 hours, revealing a new gameplay modifier via the in-game Message of the Day that will last for the next 24 hours. The 22 Nights of Terror holiday event can be enjoyed in all online game modes except for Classic Diablo II. So D2R is ready to celebrate the holiday season over the next 22 days. 

D2R 24 Hours of Cows, Loot, Festive Buffs For Nights of Terror Holiday Event 

So 11 A.M PST, it already be in effect. They're saying that we will see either powerful loot, a dash of Terror, a new surprise, perhaps there'll be special monsters to fight, perhaps they'll be unique items to find. Just go online and take a look and see what this event is all about. 

When you log into the game, you will see a special message that says home for the holidays, a certain level is the only terrorized zone, festive Buffs for all online Heroes except classic. Then when you join the game, you hear the moo which means that it's the cow level. So for 24 hours starting at 2 o'clock today, it is going to be the cow level all day long. And we have 22 days of this. Maybe there will be other interesting things that happen, but for at least today it is going to be 8 cows all day long.
