Cold Dot Build For Forbidden Sanctum Starter
Number 3 on our 3.20 Forbidden Sanctum starter builds list is going to be any cold dot build, there's really only one you just play cold dot, don't try to get too freaky with it, don't try to play wintertide brand, it was super embarrassing even if you stack all the chargers up in pob all the way. You attach the brand twice, you're better off doing something else.
The reason to do a fire dot poison builds and a cold dot is because with the curse changes that truck got buffed, most Pinnacle bosses had 66% less effective curses on them, that means Ellie weakness was really giving like -14 res instead of 44. That is insane damage increase for any elemental build and more so for any elemental dot build. Now that we can super abuse curses like punishment which increase damage taken. But they didn't get nerfed so much that they're in the state they were before when we had to deal with 66% less effect of our curses.
And with poison builds, they took flammability down 10 resistance, we are still getting so much more minus resistance just from those curse changes alone and that's not even if you take a random curse you can put it on and then self-cast punishment, grab something like the delve mod on a chest, get a corruption on a random unique amulet or if you just play a cultist. Poison builds despair lost to the increased damage over time taken by enemies, but it retained that minus chaos resistance. Chaos builds already had a lot of increased damage taken with wither, but what they didn't have was sources of minus chaos resistance in large quantities. So the fact that despair still has a pretty big chunk and it has its full effect means your poison build is totally fine and that's before we even get to temporal chains which had no change at all to the slowing of effects on enemies. Your poison duration is going to Skyrocket, it's going to go through the roof.
Corrupting Fever Champion (Click here)
+ Has perfect attack speed, great defenses, reservation efficiency
+ Can run any mod
+ Good at harvest/expedition
+ Scales well from acts to endgame
- Can’t do physical reflect until forbidden jewels
The next starter build for Forbidden Sanctum League is going to be Corrupting Fever Champion. This is a blaster, it's got kinetic blast, it's got explosions, it's champ, it doesn't really die, you get to Shield charge around. This is going to be great for a legion, it's going to be great for Harbinger farming, delirium farming and it's not be half bad for the Forbidden Sanctum farming. The more range you got on your build, the safer you're probably going to be. That mean melee builds get blind.
DD/Spark Inquisitor/Lightning Conduit
#5 DD/Spark Inquisitor/Lightning Conduit

+ New player friendly
+ Well rounded defenses and very safe clear

+League starter

+ Can be played on a shoestring budget
- Very clunky, and quite slow when compared to other builds
