FIFA 23 World Cup Hero Tier List - Ranking Every World Cup Hero From Worst To Best In FIFA 23

Today we have got another tier list - the World Cup hero tier list and we are going to rank every world cup hero from worst to best in FIFA 23 Ultimtate Team. We haven't got a crazy amount of cards to go through because EA didn't give every single hero player a World Cup hero card. Without further ado, let’s get straight in to this list. 

FIFA 23 World Cup Hero Tier List - Best World Cup Heros Ranked By Tier

S Tier World Cup Heros in FIFA 23

Keane - ST - 88

5-star weak foot, 4-star skill moves, he’s got great dribbling, insane pace, and amazing shooting ability. His shooting ability is one of the best we have seen in this game, he definitely is gonna go straight into the S tier.

Marchisio - CM - 88

You can use him in draft and you can us him in FUT champs as well, he’s insane, offers you everything you really need in that midfield. Great 87 dribbling ability, unreal long shot ability, really good pace, transition speed, defending ability goes into tackles very well. Marquiso definitely is going to be a S tier card for us. 

Yaya Toure - CDM - 89

No question about it, we don’t need to speak about it, 100% at S tier.

Al-Owairan - CAM - 88

This card is insane, a lot of pro players are using him, there's a reason he he feels op right now. After this patch, this guy's insane, he's just straight up insane with his 99 pace, easily getting him behind, definitely an S tier card.

Lucio - ST - 90

He's 100% S tier. There isn't a massive difference between Discord and his hero card, but there doesn't need to be, he's still one of the best center backs in the entire game.

Okocha - CAM - 89

He is so good in a striking position, he's so good down the line, he's so good in a cam position as well.

A+ Tier

Cole - LM - 88

Great winger, great on the ball, fast with 90 pace, nice shooting ability as well, we don't think he deserves to go S tier, he is a comfortable A+ tier.

Forlan - ST - 91

He is a very good striker, he’s in that striking position, his movement is great now, he's got great amount of pace as wel,l dribbling is solid, but we don't think he's on that Keane level like Keane definitely is just the level above Forlan and that is why Forlan is not going to go into the S tier and he is going to go into the A+ tier.

Capdevila - LB - 88

He's a nice card, 83 passing is solid, 87 defending ability is solid, great amount of pace down the line as well, good physicals 82, he is a very good fullback and that is why we should put him into the A+ tier. There is a lot of Pros that he's using him in their team right now like he is very good, it's just the dribbling ability is what holds him back a little bit.

Park Ji-Sung - CAM - 87

He definitely does deserve to go A+ tier.

Kewell - CF - 88

He's a very nice winger,you could definitely play him in that striking position, but down the line he is insane. Down the line down in that striking position, playing on that left-hand side going for that cut in and hit that outside foot with his stronger foot & the left foot and it flies in, he's fast as well, great on the ball, put him into the A+ tier.

Brolin - ST - 89

A really good card, great shooting ability, nice on a ball as well, great amount of pace. He's not as good as Keane in that striker position, but Brolin is definitely A+ tier. 

Smolarek - ST - 88

They gave him that weak for upgrades, Smolarek is definitely a nice striker. If you want four stars or you want five star skills, Smolarek is not going to be your kind of player, but he is very good, put him into the A+ tier.

Govou - CAM - 87

They gave him a 4-star weak foot, that is very nice to have in that striker position. He's great on the ball, he's fast, the unreal shooting ability as well. You can play him cam, you can play him down the line, you can obviously play him in that strike position. Just put him into the A+ tier. 

Carvalho - CB - 89

He's a player that can get out to players really quickly to put in an early tackle, he is very good, he's kind of underrated a little bit. His tackling is insane, he's a player that doesn't catch up to everyone, but he's fast, the transition speed as well is really nice to work with. So put him in the A+ tier.

Voller - ST - 91

This is the last one, he isn't on Keane's level, he is a very good striker, we should put Voller in the A+ tier, he obviously is very close to going to the S tier. 

A Tier

Nakata - CAM - 88

Great cam, but not an insane cam, he offers you a good amount of pace, a good amount of shooting ability and dribbling ability, but he just isn't really anything insane. So he’s going to go into the A tier. 

Cahill - ST - 88

He gives you a physical presence in that striking position, it's something that Keane doesn't really give you. He's also got 99 jumping and 99 heading accuracy as well well. We are not going to put Cahill on the same level as someone like Forlan, Forlan is better in that striking position over Cahill, but Cahill is still going to go above someone like Crouch.

Ljungberg - LM - 88

He’s a great winger, but not as good as Cahill, people do prefer Cahill over Ljungberg, he's got a lean body type though that is obviously great to work with his dribbling, it's just not as good as Cahill, so put him into the A tier. 

Mascherano - CDM - 89

Decent midfielder,  he feels on the ball for a player is small, he goes in very strong into tackles, his aggression is really nice as well. It's just the way he feels on the ball for how tall he is, he isn't great. So put Mascherano in the A tier. 

Marquez - CDM - 89

Good CDM, but not very fast in that middle,  he isn't a player that you can really rush out the people at and just like get the ball early. But his tackling ability is great, he's not an extremely tall player but he's not a small player either. He has got obviously a nice reach in that midfield, just put him into the A tier.

Donovan - RM - 88

He is definitely underrated World Cup hero, a lot of people are sleeping on this card, he is a great winger, he's got a good amount of pace 92, great dribbling ability 87 as well, really nice shooting ability 90. He isn't as good as Cahill, he isn't as good as Brolin and he isn't as good as Cole. If there was a tier in between A+ tier and A tier, that's where this Donovan card would go, it's just those three dimensions are better down the line than Donovan, so put him on the same tier as them.

Kohler - CB - 90

Kohler's nice at tackling, like tackling physicals he's got that to his game, it's incredible. When using him, the pace on a card wasn't anything amazing, it felt like players were just getting in behind quite easily against him. It felt like his turning ability as well felt a little bit off, he is a good center back at putting in tackles, it's just the pace and the transition. Put him into the A tier.

Kuyt - RM - 88

His base hero was one of the worst heroes in the game, but this card is not bad, down the line he is better than Cahill, he is better than q, in the midfield he's better than someone like Park Ji-Sung or on the same level. So put him into the A tier.

Papin - ST - 90

He's not a bad Striker at all, but he's not an amazing striker, definitely Forlan is better,  Smolarek and Govou is better, we should put him into the A tier.

B+ Tier

Crouch - ST - 86

You might be 6’7’’, you might give us a heading ability, but that dribbling ability 80, that 70 pace as well, very poor, Crouch definitely is going to go into that B+ tier.

Al-Jaber - ST - 87

He isn't as bad as people think, just put him B+ tier.

Dempsey - ST - 86

Dempsey didn't get a massive upgrade over his hero card, he is going to go into that B+ tier.
