WOLTK Naxxramas Tier List

Naxxramas raid wrath is the expansion of power creep and that's a good thing. The gap between most DPS classes has shrunk considerably. Most classes and specs can work. Everything is viable or at least the devs tried to give every class and specs some improvements. If you can truly master a spec and you're geared properly, you'll most likely be able to pump out the middle of the pack DPS or higher. Whether your spec is s rank, a, or b you can still make it work and pump and wrap. Going into the launch and the naxxramas raid, the classes that will benefit the most will be the classes that can pump with weaker gear.

S Tier

Arcane Mage

Arcane mages will likely top the meters in some early fights just like in TBC. But fire mages will overtake them later on. Mana will be an issue for arcane mages but druids definitely know the innervate drill by now.

Rogue

Surprisingly to some, rogues will be near the top at launch and beyond. Rogues get a new ability to pump out aoe damage called a fan of knives. Assassination rogues will be particularly strong at launch as they rely a lot less on armor penetration than other melee classes. Assassination rogues should be competitive throughout Wrath of the Lich King.

Frost & Unholy DK

Frost death knights and unholy death knights can absolutely top the meters at the launch of the game and remain solid throughout the expansion.

Warlock

Warlocks have a great Wrath expansion and will absolutely pump and top the meters with their abilities like drain soul and new party buffs. In general, warlocks start out very strong and affliction will be your best choice. So demonology will pump throughout wrath as well and destruction is considered to be outclassed by both, but still useful.

A Tier

Shadow Priest

Shadow priests are going to be very strong and wrath of course they're going to be the beloved unsung hero of raids. But they'll also be in the middle of the pack or even higher in pretty much every raid tier. They're going to start out strong and most likely get a little bit weaker throughout the expansion. But shadow priests are amazing in Wrath.

B Tier

Arms Warrior

One note on warriors is that a lot of warriors will start out as arms warriors and then transition to fury warriors in later patches.

C Tier

Mage & Subtlety Rogue

Frost mages and subtlely rogues are typically PVP specs.

Blood DK

Meanwhile, blood death knights are tanks, so that's not really going to be a typical DPS spec. There should be plenty of viability for all three of these specs. You'll be farming in arenas on your frost mage and your sub rogue and your blood decays are still really strong as well. These are not bad specs they're just not really main rating specs.

WoW Woltlk DPS Tier List Ulduard

It's time for our next phase and we're getting right into Ulduar. A lot of people consider Ulduar to be one of the best raid tiers ever in World of Warcraft. Some of the better scaling classes are going to get their time to shine in Ulduar.

S Tier

Feral Druid

Feral druids are going to start pumping the meters barrel druid scale well and they have new abilities and talents like a cat form swipe for huge aoe damage. Feral druids are monsters in Wrath. So consider making your cat now!

Combat Rogue

Similarly start to really shine in Ulduar and rogues, in general, are in a great place for Wrath PvE.

B Tier

Survival & Marksman Hunter

Survival Hunters and marksmanship hunters will be competitive in Ulduar. Though marksmanship hunters out scale the other options by the end of the expansion.

Beast Mastery Hunter

Beast mastery hunters are really solid and extremely fun to play. But they're considered the weakest of the three options per DPS.

Boomkins

This is a really good time to also mention boomkins which are significantly more viable in Wrath than in Classic and they're comfortable about the middle of the pack.

Enhance Shaman

One spec we haven't mentioned yet is enhancement shamans which do get off to a very solid early start. However, by Ulduar, they'll most likely be middle of the pack and start falling a little bit behind.

WOTLK TOC DPS Ranking

Now it's time to get into the trial of the crusader patch. This should be an amazing patch for death knights they're really going to outshine other classes in this patch, They're going to be a little bit of a level above everybody else.

S Tier

Fire Mage

This is also where fire mages really start to overtake arcane as the preferred spec and the meters will never recover.

A Tier

Fury Warrior

Fury warriors are really gaining momentum starting in the trial of the crusader patch. Physical damage dealers are really scaling well in this patch and they'll only get better in future patches.

Feral Druid & Rogue

Look for your rogues and your specs like feral druids to really start shining in TOC.

WOTLK Classic ICC DPS Rankings

It's time for our end game Wrath of the Lich King ClassicDPS tier list and it's time for ICC also known as icecrown citadel. In icecrown citadel, armor penetration gear is in full effect.

S Tier

Fury Warrior

Fury warriors are going to absolutely destroy the meters in endgame Wrath. If you love pumping with a warrior as you did in Classic Wow, for example, you're going to love Wrath of the Lich King fury warrior in the end game. You're going to dominate the meters and it won't even be close.

Combat Rogue

That being said, combat rogues absolutely destroy the meters as well. The better your spec scales with gear, the more pumping you'll do in the endgame.

Fire Mage

Meanwhile, in the endgame of Wrath, the fire mage is straight-up overpowered. Historical data did show fire mages topping the meters back in the original Wrath. Red paladins, fury warriors, and death knights can get shadow mourn as well. If they're really lucky it will significantly improve DPS.

Marksman Hunter

Marksmanship Hunters will scale really well with gear and they should be near the top just like in TBC. Basically, if you're a physical damage dealer or a fire mage, this is the dream patch for you.
