12/29/2021 4:38:34 PM

Musket is a strong ranged weapon in New World, how do you build it? Once the Patch 1.2 released, there are lots of new builds are available in the game. Here we are going to introduce a New World solo musket build for the Patch 1.2 update, with details in attributes, gear, skill trees, and more.

New World Best Solo Musket Build - Best Musket Build for New World Patch 1.2

The New World lone wolf build by The Comeback Kids has high damage from all types of range, whether it's melee sniping or even the mid-range, it doesn't get countered by any specific class, it has very high sustain and control due to traps, great durability to having that medium armor and constitution. It is the best solo build you can play as the musket for Patch 1.2.

1. Attributes

Strength: 5

Dexterity: 250

Intelligence: 150

Focus: 5

Constitution: 45

2. Talent Tree - Musket

These three abilities are amazing at doing almost anything you really need to do, Powder Burn is great obviously for almost any situation, Shooter's Stance is phenomenal for landing those kills from very far range, and Traps gives you that high sustain and keeps melee off of you.

Sharpshooter

Powder Burn -> Backdraft -> Chronic Trauma.

Shooter's Stance -> Shoot More -> Marksman.

Passives: Ballistic Advantage, Hit Your Mark, Called Shot, Heightened Precision, Empowering Headshot, Sniper.

Trapper

Traps -> Trapped Damage -> Scent of Blood -> Double Trap.

Passives: Salt On The Wounds, Hustle, Tactical Reload.

3. Talent Tree - Rapier

For this build we're gonna grab Tondo, It is so strong due to the swiftness perk being fixed as well as having refreshing strikes, which reduces all rapier cooldowns by one percent on any hit, and then also control breathing, which is three stamina on any hit. Riposte is very crucial with this build, and Momentum is a major DPS increase tied in with Crescendo, every time you basic attack, it reduces the cooldown of Evade, which allows you to potentially just spam evades if you just have the option to do.

Blood

Tondo -> Thirst For Blood -> And Again -> Proper Spacing.

Passives: Refreshing Strikes, Unerring, Engarde.

Grace

Riposte -> Insult to Injury -> Priority -> Lasting Consequence.

Evade -> Breathe In -> Allegro -> Adagio -> Crescendo.

Passives: Controlled Breathing, Swiftness, Momentum.

4. Armor (Medium Weight)

We are running medium armor, two pieces of Voidbent, is really good for that dexterity, the resilient, invigorated is good for some effects from like the hatchet throws or stuff like that, it's very good solid pieces but really expensive, you could find some resilient pieces cheaper.

Head: Heavy

Chest: Heavy

Gloves: Medium

Legs: Light

Boots: Medium

Voidbent Leggings

Voidbent Coat

Primeval Scout Gauntlets of the Ranger

Primeval Leather of the Brigand

Primeval Scout Helm of the Brigand

5. Weapon Gems

For the musket, your number one choice with this build is going to be an elemental gem, because you're running that 150 intelligence perk and you're getting that 15 bonus damage on it, so you're gonna get a lot more damage and a big benefit out of running that.

1)Musket

Cut Pristine Topaz. Other options: Cut Pristine Onyx, Cut Pristine Emerald, Cut Pristine Diamond, Cut Pristine Opal.

2)Rapier

Cut Pristine Emerald. Other options: Cut Pristine Topaz, Cut Pristine Opal.

The S tier is the absolute best ones such as Enchanted, near 10% increased damage that is an insane amount of damage just on every shot, that's very powerful, and Keenly Jagged, 7% weapon damage per second for 10 seconds that equates out to 70 percent weapon damage if you land a head shot, incredibly powerful.

S tier: Enchanted, Keenly Jagged, Keenly Empowered, Rogue.

A tier: Vorpal, Vicious.

We have Crippling Powder Burn, which is insane once you land your powder burn, which allows you to land more shots a lot easier. Empowering Shooter’s Stance, which is a 22 damage increase after you land a shot in your shooter stance, a massive damage increase if you're running shooter stance. Sundering Riposte is when you repost somebody, they get 14 reduced damage absorption, meaning you hit the 14 percent harder for 10 seconds.

S tier: Crippling Powder Burn, Empowering Shooter’s Stance, Sundering Riposte.
