FIFA 22 FUT Champions Weekend League & Play-Offs: Rewards, Qualification & Changes

FUT Champions provides an opportunity for players to compete against some of the best contenders worldwide, but you have to be qualifying for the Finals, or Weekend League. How will FUT Champions work in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team? In this guide, we’ll focus on the FIFA 22 FUT Champions rewards, dates, qualifications and changes to FUT Champs Weekend League & Play-Offs.

What are FIFA 22 FUT Champions?

FUT Champions is a 1v1 tournament mode introduced in Ultimate Team, players can earn the FUT Champions Points through Division Rivals to get the qualification during the weekdays and take part in the Weekend League on the weekends. The details of FIFA 22 FUT Champions have been confirmed in the latest pitch notes of FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.  

When Will FIFA 22 FUT Champions Start?

The Weekend League is the final round of FUT Champions, running from Friday to Sunday. The first round of FIFA 22 Weekend League FUT Champions starts from 15 October 2021.

FIFA 22 FUT Champions Changes & Qualification

The competition structure is remained in FIFA 22 FUT Champions, and the Weekend League FUT Champions Finals use the same duration as that in FIFA 21. While new mechanisms are added in the mode. Here are the major changes to FIFA 22 FUT Champions. 

- The introduction of the Champions Play-Offs and Finals.

- Points based system instead of wins, you can progress even loss the game. 

- Once you earned enough Champions Qualification Points in Division Rivals, you will be automatically enter into the Play-Offs, which is the first stage of the overall FUT Champions competition. It will open during a complete FUT Season, approximately 6 weeks long.

- If you earned enough points in Play-Offs, you can unlock a Finals Qualification Token that allows you to access the Champions Finals, if you can’t progress to Finals, you’ll return to Play-Offs after re-qualifying through Rivals.

- You can get rewards in both Play-Offs and Finals. 

- Within each FUT season, you will have a limited number of chances to complete in FUT Champions, with a single entry good for an attempt at the Champions Play-Offs, and a Champions Final if you qualify.

FIFA 22 FUT Champions Rewards 

The first set of rewards can be obtained in Play-Offs, and additional rewards will be assigned when you finished the Finals. According to the Pitch Notes by EA, players will earn two separate reward sets based on the matches, we’ll update the FUT Champions rewards for Play-Offs and Weekend League once they are confirmed.
