it is reported that during the 2nd anniversary update of rocket league, developer psyonix is releasing a number of cosmetic items related to the popular tv show. as psyonix has worked in cooperation with adult swim and adult swim games, rick and morty will be available as free customization items from july 5. you will find them in antennas, along with ‘cromulon’, ‘mr. meeseeks’, and ‘mr. pbh’ toppersj, an ‘interdimensional gb’ rocket , and some familiar-looking ‘sanchez dc-137’ wheels. the ‘cromulon’ topper can drop as a painted item to serve as bonus.

these new items will be available as common drops after offline and online matches. since they are not seasonal in any way, you don’t have to worry about missing them. rocket league is available on pc, ps4, and xbox one right now, but psyonix recently claimed that it's coming to nintendo switch. on twitter, psyonix confirmed that the same content will be distributed on nintendo’s platform. when being asked about the wheels, psyonix said, “the wheels do spin, but slowly. it mimics the slow turning of the portal in the show.”
